Côte Canterbury

We like Cote in Canterbury. A nice choice of food; reasonable wine list; I even like some of the deserts. Perfect for our pre-theatre dinner.

food very nice. Good varied choice. However evening spoiled by an extremely roudy, loud and very drunk group of men who inferred in the conversations of the tables around them and taking selfies which was unwanted. Shame they ruined our evening as my husband and I were out with our son, his girlfriend and our niece celebrating her birthday.

We came with a baby and a dog! Staff were happy to assist us finding a shady table outside to accomdate our needs, even though it was busy. Excellent service!

Service was slow and main courses overcooked (pork belly and duck confit). Disappointing, since this has not be able our usual experience in this restaurant. We got the impression that they were understaffed that evening.

Excellent as usual. One of our party had a tough steak which was replaced with an alternative choice within 10 minutes. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Beautifully cooked food served by great staff. Delicious!! We had the special cod dish that is on the menu for April, it was superb,one the best dishes we have had.

We booked a table for 3 and found the staff excellent ,very friendly .The food was good and well presented .Nice location and really good atmosphere .i would recommend cote brasserie Canterbury to friends in the future .

Lovely restaurant, excellent service and utterly delicious food. All three of us had the formule for brunch and we were not disappointed! You definitely get your money’s worth, especially as you have the choice of a hot drink and a juice, and tap water is also provided. The breakfast itself was really lovely and overall, it was a lovely place to have brunch. Will definitely return!

Good atmosphere, food and service, the restaurant and toilets were clean, my one complaint, I dislike the discretionary 12.5% service charge being added to the bill!

As with most Cote restaurants, good food, plenty of choice and excellent staff. This is very central with a lot of space to sit outside in the summer, although street musicians, some extremely loud, do tend to play right outside. Good value food and drink make this a very good venue.

I loved the food and service. I am sort of regular there. Like their breakfast deals and their set menus. staff are so friendly too.

Great food , excellent service good location easy to book. Very attentive staff, reasonable prices , nice outlook and cheerful ambience. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Very easy for wheelchair access.

Our first visit to Cote in Canterbury and we were delighted with the restaurant, the service and the dishes we ate. The lunchtime menu is particularly good value for money.

It is a nice place with good food! We enjoyed our dinner tonight. Cote offers a great variety of meals and the staff is very friendly.

Food and service good, my only criticism being the very noisy environment as there was a raucous birthday party at the next table which made conversation difficult.

Great atmosphere, great choice and good food. The staff are really friendly and helpful as well. The restaurant was busy now that Easter has hit Canterbury and given this, the service was still very quick.

The food is very good. Lots of choice between a very good and reasonably priced menu and A la carte. Pleasant staff. We go there quite often and bring friends who are equally delighted with this restaurant. We are never disappointed.

Was ok, but service was very slow and despite having booked and it not being full ,we were placed upstairs, with just one other table, so not much atmosphere. I also left my work glasses and called 20 minutes later but no one knew where they were and it therefore was an expensive lunch. As a chain, I like this group as the food is always consistent but the service clearly varies.

Up to cotes usual standard. Love the new extra set menu.staff were friendly and helpful as ever have no hesitation in recommending to friends. Hope the high standard continues to be the case

Had breakfast here. Pleasant waiters and waitresses and the service was good. Good selection of choices for breakfast, especially for vegetarians. Only criticism is that the food wasn’t very hot

Cote never fails. Always good service and excellent food. The menu is well spread and offer a good choice for all. If Cote is in town, it is always my first choice.

We have been dining at Cote Canterbury since you opened. We go back because we are assured of a friendly face on entering the restaurant. It goes on from there.Good food and service and a pleasant ambiance. Don't change anything.Except mebe put the weekend Burger on the regular menu. Its the best in Canterbury.

The service was good. The food was really tastey with a really nice atmosphere. We recommend this restaurant as we always go to Cotè whenever we go out.

Always a lovely welcome from staff, nothing is too much trouble and everything is done with a smile - excellent! We will always come back for more.

Super food and very attentive staff despite the restaurant being mega busy. Not the cheapest eating house in town but certainly amongst the best. A big thank you to all the staff.

Food and service very good but disappointed that Kir Royale offer for Friends of the Marlowe has ceased. The ‘offer’ was why always chose ‘Cote’.

Lovely restaurant, decent value. Attentive service - our complimentary kir royales (part of a special offer) were brought to us without prompting. Only thing is I wish Cote would not add the service charge but rather allow their customers to tip at leisure. Judging by the quality of the service, I don't think they'd lose out!

Always excellent meal and service at cote. We always find a cote when visiting various towns and they are uniformally excellent. A really extensive menu.
