Authentically French. Good range of classic brasserie menu items, the pork belly and the fine apple tart were particularly enjoyable, as was the cheese board.

Very good service fantastic menu lovely food overall great evening . We enjoyed it from start to finish it is my third visit to this restaurant and I highly recommend it we will definitely be back thank you for a wonderful time

Always good service and food. The menu should suit all kinds of taste. Cote is always my first choice for a reasonable priced lunch or dinner.

Good service as usual and delicious food. Went with friends and we all chose a dessert on the 'specials' menu - White chocolate mousse with summer fruits and shortbread crumble. Definitely thumbs up from all of us!

Delicious steak frites! Highly recommend this lovely little restaurant in the main market square of Canterbury. well priced and lovely service too. Will be returning.

Nice service . Staff looked after us and where not overpowering , and they looked like they all enjoyed working there. Really good choice on menu ,with food looking and tasting great. The duck was great ! The Bill worked out around £40 per head with drinks I will be back

Very good lunch, we had the rapid menus (steak frites and poultry grille), we enjoyed the meal and were given our free kir royale drinks.

Simple ingredients, beautifully cooked. All that was missing was the Conte cheese promised with the asparagus. Friendly, helpful and attentive service, as always. Looking forward to our next visit!

lovely welcome, table ready for our arrival, pre booked and wine offer was ready and available.. staff very professional, and aware we were at the theatre that evening so made sure we were not waiting too long between courses... very relaxing and pleasant

Another lovely meal at Côte Canterbury this evening. Great menu, well cooked and great friendly staff. Breakfast, lunch or dinner Côte is usually my first choice these days.

Was seated straight away and the waitress was very keen to ensure we had a pleasant experience and the food was amazing and a very nice couple of bottles of wine

Our seating was very comfortable and private. The general ambiance was lively and friendly. The staff were all pleasant and efficient. The food was excellent especially the creme caramel.

Really nice pleasant enviroment...good mix of age groups...starter average...rib eye wonderful...staff extremely good...will go again. Moved us into a booth when we got there...cleared it straight away to be away from a larger party

we normally eat in the London Cotes but found ourselves in Canterbury and decided to rest our feet and grab some food. Same quality as we've learnt to expect and would return if we go back.

Very good. Enjoyed the specials menu and the free kir royale. We go very regularly and have. Favourite booth. Will no doubt be back soon.

Lovely lunch. Great value. The restaurant was busy however the service was excellent. Our waitress was Andrea. She was lovely and very professional. It was my 4 th visit to this Cote and I'm sure that I'll be returning again

The staff were efficient and friendly and the food was lovely. As usual a Cote Restaurant offered good set menus at a very good price.

Today we had extremely bad experience, They had the huge problem with water pipes,flooding and horrible smell,and unprofessional stuff!!!!!!!! I think they will sort it !!!

As always the restaurant was superb- great service and simply the best meal in Canterbury

Very disappointed. Service was slow, steak was tough and I left most of it. Advised the Manager would be told. Bill showed no adjustment. I had to speak to the Manager who then apologised and gave a refund.

Excellent food served promptly by affable waiters. Good fixed price menu choice too. Outside eating area as well as well spaced indoor tables. A good meal out.

We have patronised various branches of Cote Restaurant for the past few years and have never had a bad meal or experience at any of the outlets visited. The menu is comprehensive but in particular the steak frites and the Breton half chicken are superb, the latter comparable with much more expensive versions of "poulet de Bresse" served in Paris. The staff are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We are great fans of this restaurant chain.

We enjoy eating here before a show at the Marlowe. Food is of a good quality and reasonably priced although the Fougasse we had recently was not a patch on the one we had at the South Kensington branch a couple of months ago.Waiting staff are pleasant and not at all intrusive. Not 100% supportive of the discretionary service charge however. If Cote paid all it's staff a decent wage, and they were not dependent on tips, then we could give our tips to the staff that serve us.

Great food and efficient friendly service. Early bird menu offered good choice. Wine was on the slightly expensive side for the selection of wines on the list.

The food was good and well presented. It was very busy and a large party next to us made it very noisy but apart from that it was good.

Always a very high standard here. The staff exceptional. Attentive, knowledgable and friendly. It’s always tricky to choose your meal from the ever changing menu, as there are too many delicious things on it. Have visited a few other restaurants here but in our opinion and value for money Côte always comes out tops.

Three of us on my birthday visit and loved the Kir Royals. Very disappointed in the size of the Asparagus Rissoto -more the size of a starter than a main course but the other 2 dishes ie Steak and Chips and Breton chicken very good.

On a foul wet day in Canterbury it was a pleasure to walk into the restaurant to be met by cheerful faces welcoming us warmly. The food was good, the service attentive and we had a most enjoyable meal.

It is always a pleasure to dine at this restaurant. They are part of a fist class chain. This evening we were celebrating a birthday and the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. We had a lovely evening.

Very pleasant staff, and good choice of nicely prepared food.. We go there regularly for lunch, and are always happy with the food and service. Good value, and well situated in Canterbury city centre.

First class restaurant. An eclectic mix of locals, tourists and students from the city';s two universities. The atmosphere is calm and organised, service is faultless and the food exceptional value. I would also recommend the restaurant for its central location.

Warm welcome and attentive staff. Nice ambience. Although some menu items were not available there was a good choice with decent portions and not too expensive. Nice place for pre-theatre meal.

Appealing venue - busy yet good service with tasty menu. Special lunch menu excellent value and bonus of complimentary Bubbly to wash it down. Really worth a visit.

I cannot fault this restaurant. The food is superb, the staff are friendly and attentive and the value for money excellent. I eat here at least once a fortnight and have never been disappointed.

Booked table for brothers birthday. We enjoyed evening, with friendly staff,good food & few glasses Of wine. Sadly we did not get free bottle wine ( as on previous visit when booked table on line)! Definitely will return.

Canterbury never fails to provide good food and service at a reasonable price. I will always consider a Cote restaurant when travelling to other towns.

The restaurant was very nice and clean, the staff was very lovely and friendly, service was very quick and the food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Would definitely go again

Unfortunately there was a problem with our order and it took an age. As we were off to the theatre we left without a desert and having rushed our mains Great shame, as we really enjoyed the food. The waiter took £11 off the bill but didn't really compensate.

The staff are really lovely here, so friendly. We waited a long time to be served our bread and olives , so we got them on the house. We understood they were particularly busy that evening as the weather was good so the outside area was packed as well as inside. The food is very good, always consistent. Highly recommend.

Lovely food, ghe pork belly, slow roast, was delicious. Good waiting staff, very attentive. A little bit noisy. We had met to catch up with each other and conversation was drowned out by occupants of nearby tables.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Food was of an excellent quality. Have eaten both dinner and lunch at the Cote and would recommend to others. Good choices of menu's.

Great food at a good price. Always busy, but never too busy. Plenty of seats and nice staff. Easy to book online & get rewards too!

Good location and a fabulous atmosphere. This is a restaurant, not a fast food chain. My wife and I both had the set three course menu. All the dishes were first class. The service was a bit muddled, two waiters asked if we would like drinks. Our Olives were late, and subsequently taken off our bill. Overall 8/10.
