Good food, good service, good atmosphere. Had the steak tartare, french onion soup, duck breast, fish parmentier, and crême brulée - all very good; would recommend.

Excellent. Very helpful staff. Food wonderful. Would recommend this restaurant if you want a good value meal and there is a lot of choice. I prefer to give my own tip rather than have 12/1/2% added automatically

Brilliant as always in every way. Delicious food and first class service. It is always a pleasure to return. Ate on the terrace this time. Lovely place watch world go by.

Had a nice evening, staff very attentive, all beit too quick servce between courses which make it seem very rushed. Enjoyed our complimentary gin, but I was a little disappointed in my tuna steak which was actually tasteless. Have eaten here several times and have always enjoyed the food.

Great food but service wasn’t up to it’s usual standards. We seemed to be forgotten about as was seated right at the end of the restaurant.

We have eaten here on several occasions, and have always enjoyed the experience..today was no different. Excellent food and good service from very friendly staff.

Lovely meal but was disappointed as had requested a table outside as was a special occasion. People who hadn't booked were given these which i thought was unfair.

We visit this restaurant several times a year and we always receive excellent service. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere is always welcoming.

As good as always but lacking efficient air conditioning, making it uncomfortable on a hot day. Food and Staff excellent and helpful. Still one of our favourite restaurants.

The location of Cote in Canterbury is simply superb. It's right in the middle of the city and on the busiest shopping street. With the heatwave we've experienced the outside dining puts Paris, Rome and Madrid to shame. First class food and service is excellent.

Very good meal. We had the 2 course lunch special. Only criticism would be that the sparkling water we ordered was over, £4 which we did not realise until the bill came. Otherwise we had good quick service and a good experience.

A thoroughly enjoyable meal in lovely surroundings. The food was, as usual, of a high standard, and tasty. Service was polite and efficient. All in all, up to Cote's high standards.

Food was delicious as always, but I was not happy when they tried to charge. me £1.70 for extra sauce for the chicken . It was removed from the bill after I complained. Not the way to encourage diners returning

Very good food and service. It is the second time we have been at this restaurant and we had a lovely time. We will certainly go again.

A lovely lunch at Cote Canterbury. The food was a delicious as ever, however possible due to graduations happening at the Cathedral service was a little slower than usual.

First class restaurant with outstanding service and the cuisine was exemplary. I would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Canterbury. It is almost exactly in the centre of the city and ideal for lunch after shopping.

As usual, efficient service of very edible food and wine. Menu kept up to date with seasonal items. Will of course return soon for a further visit!

We have eaten at the Canterbury Cote many times. Each time we have visited, the service and quality of food, never fail to impress. On this occasion we had breakfast, which once again was excellent value for money.

My experience was mixed. A large part of my steak was not edible but I was given a refund when the waiter saw how much I could not eat.

As always the food and the service in this restaurant were first class. It is always a pleasure to go there whether for lunch or for dinner.

The food was as good as usual; I chose something different for a change and I was not disappointed. The service was polite and efficient and the complimentary aperitifs were wonderfully refreshing on a hot day!

Canterbury Cote was EXCELLENT - and I told the staff - but I am not impressed with having to give feedback - why the constant need for feedback? If I had found any problems I would have reported them straight to the staff.

Everything was fine - good food and prompt service delivered with a smile. The cost was reasonable and I think pretty much in line with the average for the area.

Lightest, fluffiest, most wonderful French toast I’ve ever had! It was rather busy and a little more staff would have helped speed things up, but it was worth the wait! All three of us loved the food!!

Excellent waiter who was very friendly and helpful. Very busy evening so staff did well to keep smiling . Sadly the garlic bread was rather dry as a starter and the fish pie was under cooked. My partner did mention this to the waiter but there was just a 'oh sorry' and that was that! My main meal was very good, so one of us was happy!! Atmosphere was good and such a beautiful summer evening. Our evening would have ended on a high note had the waiter offered something to compensate for the poor fish pie which would have brought us back again.......however, we wont be rushing back and will try other restaurants based on this.

The restaurant was very clean and tidy and unusually for Canterbury, quite spacious. Service was excellent with attentive employees and a good selection on the menu. The food was, as usual with Cotes, devine. The calamari was a great sized portion and the crab mayo starter had some wonderful flavours throughout. We both had the pork belly main and were not disappointed. Crackling was perfect and the vegetables cooked to perfection. The potato gratin was sublime with a great creamy velvet texture to the sauce.

Took my husband to lunch for a treat, we got a lovely table by the door and sat chilling in a friendly atmosphere. Service was fantastic and the food very tasty, although we both thought portion size could be increased slightly for the cost of the meal. Otherwise all good.

An amazing Birthday for my Mum and her Birthday twin they loved it was a couple off Surprises that made it Extra special!!Thankyou so much!!For a special night out!I also had an Amazing Breakfast!!While arranging the Surprises!!For £10.99 a choice off Fully Cooked Breakfasts -including beautiful vegetarian (I am not!But have tried it!)Hot Drink off Choice!And fresh Juice and chilled water!!

Why do you add a 12.5% service charge, where does it go, staff or to Cote Its a worrying trend that's creeping in in the restaurant world

Our visit lived up to our expectations of this excellent chain. The set menus for June had a number of good options so it was hard to make choices, and we returned the following day for a second visit. We greatly appreciate the way Cote looks after those of us who need to be gluten free.
