Excellent place to eat before a theatre visit. Perfect position and it serves the food we like. Mussels and a large glass of wine sees us off to a good start!

I have visited Cote in Canterbury both for breakfast and lunch on numerous occasions and the food and service is always good - probably the best in town!

First class, as always. Will always recommend this establishment to my legion of friends. Cannot repeat my praise highly enough. Service is superb.

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal in Cotes yesterday afternoon, prior to our theatre visit. Tasty food for both the starter and main course. A very relaxing place to meet up with friends too.

I have found such an attractive main dish that it Is a big effort to try something new - but it is worth it. At lunchtime the varying menus of two or three courses are always delicious.

Unfortunately my daughter's meal was not good the mashed potato was cold mushy and inedible they bought chips as a replacement which we charged for. My wife had the cheese board, some of which was passed it's best.... rubbery and stale. At that point When she brought it to the managers attention we felt like we were being an inconvenience, they deducted a round of drinks which roughly equated to the price of the poor food served as mentioned. Very disappointed, we travel specifically to eat here and it's always been lovely. Will not be returning in a hurry :(

Staff were Very busy and had a very nosies table next to us !

Our waitress was Rasa who was very efficient and friendly. We had to ask for the very loud and discordant 'music' to be turned down. The food was - as always in Cote - delicious.

Very pleasant and enjoyable visit, no waiting, good service . Food excellent and good value. House wine excellent and good value, only negative other drinks such as beers, small bottles and expensive. On the whole very good.

Always great food and a buzzing atmosphere in Cote, I eat in their branches often and there's never a problem. Excellent!

Very good menu., and lots of choice. Food very nice but would be nice to have more choice of vegetables. Staff pleasant and service very good, despite restaurant being busy. Noise levels can be a problem when the tables are crowded and close together. Excellent location in central Canterbury, close to shops and Cathedral in pedestrianised centre.

Really delicious food and a complimentary drink as well. Charming waiter and table by the window so the noise level was excellent. Restaurant was full, a testament to its popularity. Always my first choice when a friend asks "Where shall we eat?"

As always, excellent food and service. Having booked in advance did expect a nicer table then by an open door to outside tables, all others were occupied.

A lovely treat to pamper yourself once in a while ..... Nice atmosphere, excellent food, friendly and efficient service. A great way to end the week in style!

We had a most enjoyable early evening meal. The staff were very pleasant and efficient making our meal experience very good. The food was well prepared and presented and in addition the restaurant was lovely and warm.

Good service, authentic French cuisine. Visited with my elderly parents, when they visited us in Canterbury. Everyone was able to find something on the menu to meet their taste.

I took my mother in law there for lunch - she had never been before and thoroughly ended it. The food was excellent and the staff superb.

Excellent service. Our waitress was lovely and attentive. We had the breakfast menu which is one of the best for choice. We came with my parents as a catch up. We are regulars and the reason being is good food and excellent service!

The lunch was very enjoyable as always, the food was very good and the staff were as always well mannered knowledgable and professional. Excellent way to spend a Sunday lunch time.

Good food, warm restaurant, cheerful smiling waitress and a free bottle of wine. A great evening. It is so easy to reserve a table in a quiet or more animated area. Changed the arrival time at the last moment because of impending snow and staff were as helpful as ever.

Excellent service from the lady waiter (pregnant) and food; great ambience as usual. It was a post cinema meal for 3 of us and we will do it again.

Surprisingly busy for a Monday towards the end of January. First class food, excellent service and faultless food - as always. The queue for seats was out of the door. Thoroughly recommended as always !

Service was prompt and friendly. Food was good. Although we were the last booking of the evening there was no feeling of pressure to leave.

Nice food, nice wine, nice staff, good value. Some French bread on the table, included in the price, would make it perfect, just like actually being in France.

Food and service was brilliant loved it would recommend the calamari starter and ribs steaks and to wash it all down a bottle of cote de rhone. Great evening will do it again.

The service at this delightful restaurant has NOT deteriorated and is as good as ever. The food was fresh and very well cooked. An absolute pleasure and a MUST to visit whenever in Canterbury and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Lovely food reasonable prices for set menu. Quick polite service with nice ambience. I'm a regular customer and always eat at Cote when visiting Canterbury.

Very good food, and reasonable price. Restaurant not busy but service very slow on this occasion, and waitress rather disinterested! But front of house very pleasant and helpful.

Been to Côte Canterbury on a number of occasions now and each time had a wonderful meal We always received prompt service with outstanding food The menu has a good selection of starters/mains which you would not find in other local restaurants , mainly French themed Our meal cost around £90 last night for two adults and one child , Be back soon
