Food needed to be hotter. Restaurant wasn’t that busy so no excuse. Otherwise a nice meal.

For reliably good food at a reasonable price, i would always recommend Cote.

Interesting choice of food. We were given the exact table I had asked for when booking on line and the staff are always helpful and cheerful. It is always the first suggestion when friends decide to eat out. A most enjoyable evening and we are never hassled to leave when we have finished the meal.

We have eaten at Cote Canterbury numerous times before and it’s always been a favourite. Unfortunately, on Bank Holiday Monday we did not receive the service we were used to. 1) The recently booked table for 9 was not on their system and, despite being very quiet, the waitress spent a while trying to find it rather than just welcoming and seating us quickly. 2) Despite the waitress taking care with the order, there seemed to be a lack of communication between her and the kitchen. Salads had unwanted dressings, replacements forgotten, side dishes missing but then charged for and a meal undercooked. As a result we all kind of ate at slightly different times, which isn’t really what eating out is about. 3) When the bill came the errors had to be discussed with the manager. We were also a little offended that a 12 and a half percent gratuity was added despite them being aware we weren’t happy and that we’d left after one course when many of us had ordered from set multi-course menus. In Cote’s defence, the manager sorted out our quibbles well and the food we ate was delicious. It will not affect us returning as, let’s face it, we all get it wrong sometimes. And it was 33 degrees centigrade that day!

Not all of starters came at once, everyone had finished their starter before my bread came, chicken on main course was over done and chewy, complimentery drinks where charged to our bill, would not recommend to family & friends

Perfect meal, attentive experienced staff made this a place I will look forward to visiting again. This for me was the best

Food are always nice! My favorite starter Tuna Carpaccio is back to the menu this month which I liked the most! Staff are helpful and always have a smile!

We walked out. The waitress who took our order disn’t Need to write it down. So cool! The waitress who brought our food could scarcely stop coughing for long enough to put our food on the table. Unfortunately, what she put on the table was not what we had ordered. We left and went to Nando’s, which was excellent.

Having been given the set menu and a la Carte by the host on our arrival we and our guests made our choices not choosing the food he told us was sold out. Imagine then our horror when our waitress says we cannot choose from the set menu. She refuses to go away and stands tapping her pen demanding we make a choice from a la carte menu NOW!

Quality of the food and service as good as ever. This must be the best of the food chains. Wonderful ingredients and really good cooking and presentation. Wines also very good value for money. We now use Cote if we are staying in towns all over England.

Excellent in all respects except that our table was overexposed to the noise from the clearing of dishes etc.

Brilliant options with both menus at 13.95 or £18.95 before 7pm. Have taken both family and colleagues out as treat and all enjoyed gigantic starters and choice of main courses . Had my 50th birthday party there and service was excellent. Do you do any other offers or loyalty offers as I have been so often I’ve rtje last few months . The creme caramel is the BEST !!

Lovely meal. Had the duck. The potatoes complimented the duck. Cherry sauce delicious.
