No lobster, no pork belly, no fillet steak. NO GOOD

I was really impressed with the meal we had yesterday. Food was cooked really well and service from Chelsea and Maxime was first class.

First time out for months and delighted to say the quality of food was excellent as was the service and restaurant atmosphere. Also felt very save and Covid secure, well done!

Nice restaurant, food was nice. I had a burger which was ok, slightly dry, maybe asking how the client would like the burger cooked could help. Others had steaks, which they very much enjoyed.

Overall, it was good. But, I just have two concerns: 1. The lobster should be deshelled, and perhaps it would be nice if it could be served another way. One that isn't so messy, since not everybody coming there would know how to de-shell a lobster; my girlfriend who ate the lobster didn't know how to, for example. 2. The Steak Frites was average, at best. Perhaps some more browning on the steak would've led to better flavour. It was a bit too pink for me as well. But the frites were excellent.

We booked a table for 6 for joint birthday celebrations and we had a wonderful evening. The staff were super friendly and happy smiley. It was very busy but the atmosphere was great and the staff were attentive. Bit of a wait from starter to main but this was no issue.. you could see the staff were run off their feet but this didn’t stop them providing a great service. We had a slight issue with one of our mains which was quickly rectified and they did all they could to make up for the mistake and ensure a tips class dining experience. We all had a lovely evening and commented on how we would love to come back. Thank to all the staff at the Canterbury branch. We had the most enjoyable evening..

The staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly. There was an issue with the bill which they solved with no problems. Really wonderful evening.

Booked a table for 1pm for four people, our first time in Cote. The waiter ushered us in he could clearly see that my wife was disabled. (She has walking aids). After walking past empty tables for four people he made us climb many stairs to our table. By the time we had got to our table my wife was out of breath and clearly distressed in pain. The waitress that served us was extremely pleasant and polite. She could see that my wife was distressed somewhat and she gave us time to settle down before taking any orders. The food that we had ordered was very mediocre. The beef Bourgogne was cold in places as it seemed it had just been warned up in a microwave. From our first visit to Cote and probably our last. We did have high expectations but unfortunately this certainly wasn’t the case.

Staff very professional and even though the place was packed for 12.00 sitting we did not wait long for service. We were very impressed

We really enjoyed coming back for the first time since lockdown. It was great to see all the friendly staff again. Overall it was an excellent meal

We were so glad to see Cote Canterbury open again as it's one of our favourites. When we arrived it was VERY busy and deservedly so for the food was good and the service was as friendly and attentive as ever. A wider selection of vegetarian food would have been nice, but, no doubt things will improve in that direction as time goes by. It will be worth the wait.

Food is very nice, everyone enjoyed it. Didn’t notice on the bill that you had added a service charge. There was nothing on the card reader or anywhere else to remove it, even if I had noticed it. The waiting staff said nothing about it having already been added to the bill. We left a tip for the waitress, which I was happy to do, but I found it a little sneaky to be charged on the bill as well. I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere that a service charge is automatically added. Tips are supposed to be optional.

Very well organised in these covid times. Plenty of room and airy. Fast friendly service. Good quality food well presented. Have booked again already.

So pleased to see our favourite restaurant open once again. Excellent hygiene procedures in evidence that didn't detract from the lovely atmosphere. Nathaniel our delightful waiter deserves a mention for his attention to detail, efficient friendly yet professional service. A very big thank you for the complimentary drinks. The reason for the lower mark on food is because our main course wasn't hot, we didn't mention this until our plates were cleared away though. We'll be back!

We were very pleased to learn that you were open again, and could not resist booking a table. We were not disappointed as we were welcomed like old friends. The food was great and the service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and all the staff followed strict cleansing procedures. I have to mention that the toilets were also spotlessly clean. Thank you to all. We shall be back again soon. No worries about going to Cote Canterbury. Great place for food.

Good service, lovely bread and olives. Main courses were freshly cooked, though quite small portions. Surprised that chips had to be ordered as an extra with a burger. Good anti vivid strategies.

The food was delicious and perfectly portioned. The crab mayonnaise when it arrived was no morsel, but a healthily portioned starter to wet the apetite, which on eating was bursting with flavour. My steak ordered rare, was perfectly cooked with hues of pink from the outside edge to the tender middle. The service was professional helpful and not typically stuffy.

Amazing food, best steak I have tasted in a long time

Very good. There was a bit of a wait before we got a drink and our order was taken... but it was understandable considering how busy you were, which was so good to see. Food was acceptable but not as bulletproof as it normally is for Cote. But... we’ll definitely be back. Thank you.

Service was exceptional. Very attentive. Food was very average. I had fillet steak which tasted like brisket- far too much over-done. Was a little disappointed with this. If we had not received the reduction as part of the government scheme I would have been very disappointed.

The service was busy And we understand that but My minute steak was way over cooked and a little tough as a result. I didn’t say anything as we had already waited a long time to get our food and didn’t want to risk tO wait any longer for another one. Waitress was lovely but clearly overwhelmed by the volume of customers.

The staff as always were attentive, friendly and efficent but two of the four main courses had to be returned, the burger was cold and pork belly was totally overcooked and dry. This was dealt with as described above. We were a group of four friends who hadn't seen one another all year and had to ask for the music to be turned down twice because it was intrusive.

Friendly, professional staff, spotlessly clean environment and excellent food and drink. A lovely experience all round!
