First class restaurant and extremely popular. My biggest criticism is having to traipse two floor up some steep stairs to use the toilet. It's very inconvenient, especially for older people and it's a long way up !

A most enjoyable meal; we sat in their outside terrace and enjoyed the well-priced set menu. Quality of food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient.

Good venue and great food. Service good but not as quick as usual and the area of restaurant we were in was a bit noisier than usual.

Our food today was excellent! Also service was very efficient. We will return as this was very good value. Best venue for lunch in Canterbury with very friendly atmosphere.

Food was lovely, from the reasonably-priced set menu and service was friendly and attentive. Sat outside in the sun in the terrace; very pleasant!

The food was very good and the service was very good as well. All the waiters or waitresses were very jolly and pleasant. I very much enjoyed my meal.

A wonderful birthday plate with strawberries, chocolate cake with candle provided with a song ! Very impressed. The service and food was excellent and children welcomed.

Excellent chain but obviously short of staff today, as confirmed by one of the members of staff who did their very best. Also I had several bones in my Fish Parmentier, something I have never had before in the last 3 yrs we've eaten in other Cote branches. Don't let this put you off - this was clearly a freak bad day - we all have them - & they are normally excellent.

Absolutely beautiful food, great service and staff. Staff were so attentive and helpful, I had the wrong dinner brought out and they changed it no problem and took my meal off of the bill which wasn’t expected but lovely of them to do that.

Great lunch - good food, good table, good service. Cote has found a very good balance with a tasty menu and is also excellent value for money.

Always delicious food, brilliant value, consistently high standard, and such lovely, polite hard-working young staff. Love Cote Canterbury, such an asset to the City. Great for sharing a bottle of bubbly outside on the terrace too.

We often find it more convenient to have 'brunch' instead of lunch and tend to opt for Cote when we want to do this. The 'Formule' offers excellent value for money as it includes fruit juice and a hot drink as well as a cooked breakfast. The standard of the food is high and the service is excellent. If you ask for your eggs to be 'well done' or otherwise the chef always gets it right. The environment is agreeable and there is always a buzz about the place as staff work hard to enjoy the experience.

Lovely staff & ambiance, but evening was spoilt by my meal. I Ordered steak med to well cooked which arrived red, even at the edges & almost raw in the middle. I asked for it to be cooked further. the waiter was very polite & accommodating but my steak was returned in the same uncooked state as I had sent it. I was unable to eat it & I feel very disappointed that nobody checked to see if I was happy with it. Even the waitress that collected our plates did not ask even though almost a whole steak remained on the plate.

We had a lovely meal it was birthday celebration and we were given complimentary glasses of bubbly each which make it even better. Thank you Cote.

First time here. we walked in and were greeted by a lady who asked where we would like to sit. We picked a table and sat down. within a few minutes a waiter asked what drinks we would like. These were served strait away no fuss. We had a starter then main course all served promptly and professionally. A very good and pleasant experience. The food was excellent !!

This has become our favourite restaurant in Canterbury and is a 'must' meeting place with friends. The food is first class and the service unbeatable - plus the prices are very reasonable. In hot weather it is perfect because of the outside seating but if it's raining or late afternoon, air conditioned seating is also available on the first floor. We would recommend Cote in Canterbury without any hesitation.

Excellent as always..... Service, food quality and ambience can not be faulted. Thank you Cote Brasserie Canterbury. We will be back next time we're in town.

Excellent food and service. When the bill came they hadn’t charged us for the apple tart - they gave it to us for free because we were regular customers!

We had a very enjoyable meal celebrating my daughter's graduation. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The service was good.

We went to Cote Brasserie, Canterbury for breakfast with our friends who had come for the weekend and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Three of us had the 'formule' and felt that it represented excellent value for money in terms of the quality and quantity of food as well as the standard of cooking. We very much appreciated that the fruit juices and coffees were included in the price. My husband chose 'Eggs Royal' and rated these very highly as well. It was a most enjoyable way spend time with our friends before they departed and set them up for their long journey home. The service was extremely efficient especially since the restaurant was quite busy for the time of day. We were asked if we had enjoyed the food and if we wanted more coffee.

Cote is always reliable. Nice food, with a good choice for all of us. We all like different things but found something to enjoy for everyone.

First class location, service and cuisine. Visited this venue numerous times and cannot praise it highly enough. I would recommend this to any Canterbury visitor.

Very enjoyable meal. Slight hiccup with serving of meal but rectified without any intervention from us. Service friendly but not intrusive. Will certainly visit again when next in Canterbury.

Pleasant food in great surroundings. Lovely sunny day so able to sit outside and watch the bustling street scene. Attentive staff butt not overbearing took our orders promptly and made sure we were comfortable. Slight gripe that the toilets were on the second floor although accept there is one loo on the ground floor which anyone can use.

Great ambience in the restaurant and good location on the High Street. A friendly welcome and service with a smile, good value lunch menus, tasty food..... highly recommended!

A really enjoyable meal, and at a very busy time of day (and in bad weather!) the service was very good. This is about the fourth time I have visited Cote Brasserie at Canterbury and have enjoyed the meal every time. I shall be back!

We had 3 courses from the Prestige Set Lunch Menu. It was presented well, was very tasty and was very good value. The service was friendly, courteous and prompt. We have eaten here before and have always been pleased.

Excellent service very good food and drinks plus very pleasant and efficient staff. Very pleased that we prebookedthe table because it got very busy shortly after we arrived.

Another lovely meal, staff always attentative, friendly. Food was very good again, never had a bad experience here. Eating out is about the whole experience, atmosphere and a relaxing time; have always found this here.

Food poor I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, it’s the worst Cote Brasserie I’ve been to and our waitress was like a robot, polite but just going through the motions and doing what she had to

Excellent food, good service but just consider carefully where to sit. We had a table opposite the wine store and where used crockery etc was taken. Rather noisy and not a pleasant sight!

Good service, prompt and good food. First time we had been to this 'branch'. It won't be the last. Also good value and good tosee well priced food deals.

In the various Cote restaurants that I have tried and that I have now come to expect, service, presentation and quality of food was excellent. It was the perfect venue for the family to celebrate my grandson's christening in the nearby local church. Very much appreciated.

Always good food, well prepared. Excellent service and cheerful staff. Varied set menu changes monthly and us really good value for money. Good for pre theatre early evening bookings and lunchtime service is very speedy. Highly recommended

Great service, nice food, even though busy. Nice atmosphere which is clean and easy to get to and good value for money, really nice experience.

As always, Cote Canterbury is first class. Thoroughly enjoyable venue, great location and the staff are professional and educated, so no shortage of decent banter with the waiting staff. Extremely good.

Very "French" atmosphere is good for a special occasion, though the service is very approachable and friendly. Good mixture of sea food, meat, and veg meals which are all reasonably priced.

Excellent! Booked a table only an hour before and made a note on the reservation that it was my daughters birthday. Turned up to balloons on the table! Amazing! Thank you.

Food was ok, no better than that, the waiter looked like he would rather be somewhere else and the noise was too loud to carry on even the most basic conversation.

Pre-theatre meal with excellent service and all three of us had just main courses: risotto vert, grilled salmon and cod goujons, each dish well presented and delicious. We each had one drink and the bill, including tip, was £64 - food £36, drink £20 and tip £8. Thoroughly recommend this classy chain restaurant.

As always excellent service! The usual head waitress that we are normally served by was working elsewhere in the restuarant so a less professional waitress was serving us, normally each customer is treated with equal respect but she must have just been too busy with how packed the restaurant was. The food is always stunning!

Excellent service and food. Good meeting place for all our 6 friends. All happy with their food and the service and pleasant atmosphere. We will book again.

As always the food was excellent. A good selection to choose from the set menu for August and definitely worth a second visit. Very good and friendly service.
