Côte Canterbury

We had very enjoyable New Year's Eve meal and thought it was excellent value for money. The one disappointment was that the Gravadlax had run out. The staff were working very hard but managed to be attentive and friendly.

Excellent food at a good price.Surroundings and staff perfect. One small complaint, we had to ask for the background music to be lowered as we were under the speaker. All done immediately as requested

Service was average which was disappointing. Waitress wasn’t accommodating to asking the chef for vegan options

Cote Brasserie in Canterbury is a great place with a good atmosphere and excellent service. There is always a wide variety of choice on the menu. We keep going back as we absolutely love it

We had a superb meal at Cote Brasserie Canterbury. The speed and efficiency of the staff was excellent as always. The restaurant has a lovely warm ambience too.

Despite being very "Christmas" busy the staff were very attentive and helpful. We took our 2 young granddaughters for the first time and they enjoyed the experience and loved the frites. The chicken and walnut salad however wasn't as nice as usual but apparently the cod goujons were good.

Food and service very good once again. Restaurant was busy with Christmas but not cramped or too noisy so we had a very enjoyable experience

Probably one of the best meals I've had a Cote Canterbury - which is no exaggeration as they are always excellent. We had French onion soup for starters - perfect , and then seasonal chicken with traditional potatoes and greens. First class. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone - without hesitation.

Very Busy at xmas but service was good and all waiting staff were smiley and nice. For a Friday before x as I would expect to wait.

We had a very enjoyable meal in Cotes Brasserie Canterbury on Monday evening 17th December. Food and service very good. We have been here several times and always find it very consistent.

Cote in Canterbury is always good and yesterday was up to the usual standard. The service was good and the food good, but best of all is the buzzy atmosphere.

Very good service. Reasonably priced food on the lunch menu with ample choice. All very enjoyable and of a good quality. We are regular customers and always eat at Cote when visiting Canterbury.

This is the second time we've had lunch with friends. The service is very friendly and efficient Food is very good. This is definately going to become our restaurant of choice for lunch in Canterbury.

This restaurant is very good. There is a good selection of food at reasonable prices. It is in the Centre of Canterbury and near the Cathedral and main shops in a pedesrianised area. Service is generally very good, but on this occasion I was overlooked, despite being first in the queue and having pre booked.

An excellent restaurant, with friendly staff and delicious food. Wouldn’t dream if eating anywhere else when I am in Canterbury. What else can I say!

Booked a table in advance and was ready. Excellent food, great service, lovely atmosphere. Wil definitely be going again especially as situation in so convenient for Canterbury Centre.

First time a small disappointment concerning the charge made for an extra side dish not on the menu. Manager put things right. I feel staff training in this regards could be better. Otherwise everything else excellent as usual

Wanted to switch off, sit back and enjoy a good meal - as always Côte Canterbury delivered- staff were wonderful; warm,genuine, informed and considerate and the food was perfect. A bottle of wine and the warm and cosy atmosphere made it exactly what we wanted.

Chose this restaurant for our pre theatre meal as it is Coeliac accredited. The gluten free menu was large and my food arrived with a little ‘gluten free’ flag in it so no mistakes could be made by serving staff. Excellent, well cooked food and friendly staff.

Lovely food on Prestige set menu chosen by myself and 2 friends. Quick friendly service in spite of the restaurant being very busy. I always choose Cote when eating in Canterbury for the good value.

Always enjoy dining at Côte - and the new starter (pork croquettes with poached egg and Hollandaise sauce) was fabulous. Service was great; just disappointed by the unnecessarily noisy group at the next table.

As with the other cote restaurants, service and food presentation and quality was excellent. As an East Anglian I don’t tend to get histerical about things, just So.

Another great lunch at Cote with my younger son. Booking on line easy, friendly welcome at reception recognising me from previous visits, given a good table, food very good as was the service. Superb.

lovely lunch again, as ever. the staff gave us the choice of upstairs or downstairs to sit...upstairs great for a party of six, spacious and slightly quieter. great food, as always...in fact there again tonight, just two of us prior to going to the theatre to see the supremes..excellent.

The food was superb - I had the pork croquettes with poached egg and Hollandaise sauce as a starter, and it was sublime. Wonderful steak frites and a delicious crême brûlée for dessert. Service was excellent, ambience wonderful and the value for money was excellent. Highly recommended.

As a regular customer I find the experience enjoyable - good service, very nice food and excellent value. I shall continue to patronise this restaurant.

As always, an excellently prepared meal. We only popped in for a quick pre-theatre supper, but were very impressed by the quality of the cuisine and ingredients, value for money and friendly, efficient, service.

You never enter Cote Brasserie without a warm & friendly welcome and the service throughout is faultless. One knows what to expect with the food and it rarely fails to please. Would always recommend this restaurant.

We arrived earlier than expected but were warmly welcomed. The service was excellent and the food good. We would recommend giving the restaurant a try.

First class dining experience and a restaurant which cannot be too highly commended. The menu is extensive - but not unmanageable and the location is first class.

First time at Cote Canterbury, and we weren't disappointed even though the restaurant was heaving and staff rushed off their feet. They still managed to offer a sterling service.

We recently went to the restaurant with some friends who had never been to Cote before. It was a really successful evening. They are French and very much felt at home because of the décor and atmosphere as well as the food. For starters we chose calamari and saucisson sec - the portions were generous and the quality of the food excellent. For the main course, two of us chose the sea bream which was delicious, partly because of the addition of fennel seeds but also because it was a good size and thoroughly cooked. Our partners chose the Poulet Breton and Boeuf Bourgignon both of which they enjoyed immensely. We finished off with Dame Blanche, Mousse au Chocolat and two portions of Tarte Citron. We are pleased that there is such a wide selection of desserts on the menu. The bottle of Cote du Rhone to accompany the meal was tasty and good value as it worked well with the fish, chicken and meat dishes. The meals arrived quickly and our waitress was helpful and welcoming. These were friends we had not seen for a long time and the congenial atmosphere and good food made this a very memorable occasion.

Nice meal. A bit noisy lunchtime so full restaurant with a quick turnover of people. Very nice young lady waitress but once again too noisy

We are used to excellent service at Cote, and this was no exception. Food also was as good as ever, especially the creme caramel dessert.

Always excellent. Set menus are such good value. Delicious and beautifully presented. Staff are always lovely. Best lunch in town! Go here all the time!

Chicken very bony and with suspect bits in delicious sauce. Free coffees ( unexpectedly) to make up for slight gripe from us. All staff charming

This restaurant is rightly popular and although we had booked, we had to eat on the first floor level - which was peaceful. Food was excellent and the staff took the time to chat and smiled despite my friend's rather corny comments. I do not tire of this place.

Lovely food and service. I can only regret that the bread who used to be served for free is now subject of charge ( not at all the French way of life ). Also a gratuity of 12.5% is automatically added to your bill but be aware it is optional. you can choose to donate what you want.

I go here fairly regularly with a friend. It’s a busy restaurant in centre of Canterbury, and convenient for shops and the Cathedral. Good choice of menu and good value food. Staff always pleasant and friendly, even when very busy.

Another enjoyable experience at Cote Canterbury. We had excellent food, all prepared to our liking, and the service was equally good. We would thorougly recommend this restaurant.
