This is a smart little eaterie with the most attentive staff.

We sat outside in the sunshine and enjoyed a very good value lunch from the set menu. The only negative was that my first choice of starter wasn't available but the rest of my food was delicious.

Went with our friends for dinner last night. Every member of staff were polite and efficient. I had a problem with my steak, but it was rectified immediately, with no fuss at all. The staff, and management of this restaurant are a total credit to the cotes chain, and we would definitely return.

Delicious food, beautiful room with lovely, comfortable seating. And the staff? Second to none. They are a total delight. If you’re in Canterbury make sure you go to this restaurant.

Good choice on set menu which was value for money. Both courses were lovely and the staff were friendly and efficient.

This restaurant, set in the heart of historic Canterbury, is always first class but today it was exceptional. The food was divine, the service by the cheerful staff (how do they manage it) was very welcome and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Cote Canterbury.

We dined early on a Monday evening. It was frankly hard to fault the experience in terms of food quality, drinks, polite staff and yet somehow felt as though something was missing - the usual Cote ambience? Perhaps it was just the layout of the tables? No complaints!

As always the food and service were very good at Cote Canterbury. We dined quite late on a Sunday afternoon and sadly my first two choices of main had sold out, however, my third choice, pork belly, was delicious.

As always this establishment, in the centre of a beautiful city, and the service and food was exceptional. The only fly in the ointment, for the first time, is that my companions are smokers - I am not. But they wanted to go outside to the comfortable seating in the open air in order to smoke. They were told no smoking was allowed and we had to leave rather abruptly and were unable to finish our coffees and brandy. This is the first and, I hope, only time, we have experienced problems at Cote Canterbury. The restaurant needs to accommodate smokers and inhalers (like me). smokers and those using vapoorisers

Met a friend for lunch and we chose from the set lunch menu. The choices were very good and I particularly enjoyed the goat's cheese starter. Lovely food good service and very good value for money. We always eat at Cote when in Canterbury.

The Mothers' Day menu was really nice. Glad we booked; there wasn't a spare seat!
