Excellent food well prepared and presented, along with good service!

So observing what goes on.. 30 foreign students come in within 8 minutes they have their first course..... at the same time we notice no difference in service. If I could sing highest praise it wouldn’t cover how I feel about visiting my favourite place. Gonna spend my anniversary on 14 November there and can guarantee perfection. Thank you Cote

We have been before and always have a good experience Last night was no exception. The staff were fabulous The food was well presented We tasted both types of red wine as one was good and the other not to our taste. The food was tasty and we cleared our plates. There was a service charge added otherwise we would have left a tip. Very good will be going again in the future.

Arrived in time for excellent early evening choice which was delicious. A different chicken recipe - excellent

First class restaurant in the city centre with an ideal location after visiting the cathedral or meeting up with family and friends after shopping. Service is first class, great value menu and the location is superb. But there is a fly in the ointment. The WC's are on the top floor, so don't leave it until the last minute before you sprint three lots of very steep stairs to locate the urinal. There is a disabled WC on the ground floor which is much easier to access - but there can be a queue. So Cote, please relocate your WC's to somewhere much more convenient for customers because the current location blights an otherwise near perfect restaurant experience !

Table wasn’t ready on arrival but staff apologetic. Steak wasn’t cooked as requested, it was overdone. Staff offered condiments but they never came. Server was pleasant and very busy!

Had a lovely pre theatre meal. Booked early and restaurant still had an atmosphere. Tuna carpaccio and Sea Bass were delicious.

Wouldn't go back. Putting a 12.5% tip on the bill is insulting.

complimentary cocktail was not served in martini glass as advertised, just in a tumbler, just a small detail I know but a tad disappointing! We had a lovely meal, cooked to perfection. The occasion was my daughter’s 25th birthday and a beautiful ’Happy Birthday’ desert with candle was presented, which was a lovely touch. We’re not keen on the 12% service charge being added, as customers we feel it should be us who decides how much to tip the staff on quality of service. I appreciate its discretionary, but once it’s added to the total, it’s hard to quibble and we would have tipped the staff anyway. All in all a lovely treat out with the family.

Food was really lovely but the waitress didn’t follow the old Fashion manner of taking the orders from the ladies first or serving the dishes to the ladies first . It would never happen in any of the Cote brassieres in London so I feel rather disappointed with the service and she wasn’t that young not to know what she was doing.

Tables at the end of the room, near the toilet, are rather disturbed by those queuing or trying to get into the toilet. Service was slightly slow.

We always enjoy eating here, the staff are attentive without being intrusive, the menus offer a variety of food. The atmosphere is just right for enjoying a lovely meal, one can converse without raising ones voice, resulting in a friendly busy restaurant to take friends.

The food and staff were very nice but it was let down by the state of disabled toilet it was very untidy no soap and you stuck to the floor !!!

staff offering warm reception on arrival. food last night was really lovely, new menu too, but really well cooked and tasty, delicious. attentive crew on board !! and very pleasant staff when asking for the bill, chatty, polite and courteous through out.. thank you My husband went on the al a carte menu, as the sole was on, I went on the special ...as I loved the breaded chicken....so it is what we fancy as opposed to cost...but is good value either way...

Fabulous as always. Although part of our main course was forgotten the staff were very apologetic and took the value of the main affected from our bill which was excellent customer service.

Our waiter was extremely good and we were particularly pleased NOT to have our conversation interrupted to be asked "how is your food" - one of our pet hates. Our meal was delicious and we will definitely be recommending you to all our friends.
