The greeting system needs improving - we had a booking but had to queue in order to get to our table. Food was very good - service good no complaints there.

Lovely lunch under the worst circumstances for the whole hospitality sector. You seem to be coping admirably with it all despite our lamentable government's bungling, so called, "world beating" strategies. Great rillette (slightly too cold, but we understand the regs.) and perfectly cooked rib-eye. See you soon!

I am pleased to say the quality of the food and the friendly high level of service has not been diminished by the lockdown. It was good to see the previous members of staff have returned.

Lovely to be back,the service was excellent.Food was delicious as usual and a complementary drink because it was our wedding anniversary.

I miss the full menu but for the rest everything was wonderful!

Very nice meal, and a good choice of dishes for a lunch time menu

A low key welcome and although the restaurant was no where near full we were seated near the Kitchen door and the toilet. Very quickly we were asked if we were ready to order. The food arrived quickly my squid was over cooked but my partners cheese starter was really nice. The mains were good as where the deserts. When we got our coffees the waitress said she would get more cream if we wanted, we did want more but she was nowhere to be seen I think she had gone off shift. None of the other waiting staff came anywhere near us. In summary the food was ok and the service ok both could have been better. Would I go again yes I would.

Fantastic experience, food and service from our waitress (Sabrina P) who made us feel so welcome. She was a credit to the restaurant and we will definitely return.

Lack of vegetarian options spoilt our meal. There were only two mains choices; neither was labelled v on the menu - are vegetarians not welcome in your restaurants?

It's quite a surreal experience to eat out at the moment but the staff at Côte Cambridge were really professional. The food was lovely and well presented and the atmosphere was as good as could be expected, given the current limitations. I look forward to returning soon and hope that the "old normal" will be back soon.

Food was prepared very well. I had fillet Steak which was cooked very well and tasted fabulous. My wife had the Salmon which she really enjoyed. We don’t normally use chain restaurants, however this venue was lovely and we would return.

Very nice meal. I was hoping to try the lobster but was only offered the brunch menu I was disappointed about that but overall it was a very nice experience.

Food tasty and enjoyable. Only downer was time between courses. Booked in at 3pm, left after 5pm.

Service was good and attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. Lobster frites was delicious.

Having had several tasty 'Cote at Home' meals during Lockdown, it was a real pleasure to go out for a relaxing lunch over a long weekend - especially with the benefit of Eat Out to Help out!

We found the staff to be rude and was made to feel uncomfortable from the moment we walked in. I caught one member of staff roll her eyes at another member because I asked if there was another table as we was put in front of the entrance where the door was open and it was a cold and wet evening. I could also see two empty tables for two. This behaviour did not make our evening enjoyable.

Very disorganised! No separation of tables - very worrying! Food ok but not as good as before lockdown. Very restricted menu until 2 p.m. - very strange timing. No service for at least 15 mins, when managed to catch waiter's attention. Then mistakes made with simple order. Quite disappointed overall.

Lovely to be back in Cote. Great evening - the place was buzzing! Everything was excellent. Food was delicious - beautifully presented. No complaints about anything.

It was great to get back to Cote to enjoy the delicious food and super service. It was lovely to see all the staff again too. We all enjoyed our food, the prawn starter was piquant and tasty and the lobster superb. I haven't given top marks because although there was plenty of sanitiser around the place I don't think the restaurant has taken as many Covid precautions as other places we have visited recently - table numbers were reduced slightly and the staff wore visors but the place was still closely packed

Good quality, but going out is getting too pricey everywhere unfortunately.

Food, drink and service as good as it ever was. Very much enjoyed all courses. Menu is slightly smaller than before. Lacked variety of ingredients for vegetarian dishes, but would imagine this would improve in time. Some seating areas felt slightly more crowded than I would have expected.

Really clean and safe , observed the new rules well, food always high quality and tasty. Staff always super friendly and efficient with prompt service, always a go to in Cambridge for consistency.

Overall the meal was very good but we had a few issues. First, we were told a few items were not available but some time after my partner ordered the pork belly, a member of staff returned to say that this too was off the menu. I ordered a sirloin steak, medium rare. It arrived on the blue side of rare. Staff were most apologetic when I sent it back but unfortunately when this happens, although the recook was fine, it meant that the other two in the party had nearly finished when the steak was returned. Not ideal. Then we ordered puddings, including a lemon sorbet. A raspberry sorbet arrived and no apology for the lack of lemon was forthcoming until it was pointed out that the order was incorrect. We did mention at the time all these complaints. And I did raise the problems we had when the bill arrived, and suggested that a drink on the house might be in order. The manager, to her credit, agreed but as we had paid already, she gave us a credit note for a drink in Cambridge sometime in the future. This was a nice gesture but we do not live in Cambridge so may not be able to take up the offer. I should like to stress that the staff were exemplary at every stage of our meal and that the food that did arrive was excellent. However. incorrect interpreted orders and missing selections not advised at the time of ordering unfortunately contributed to a less than satisfactory meal.

It was great to return to cote. As always lovely meal, nice staff. We will be back.

We had a really pleasant evening. The service was excellent, plenty of space and safe social distancing measures were in place. Food was lovely. I did find the music a little loud but that was mainly because one of our party was hard of hearing otherwise it wouldn't have been a problem.
