Great evening with colleagues from work. Everyone enjoyed their food and we all said we would come back soon. Did request a specific table that we weren't given but still a good evening

Excellent food steak was perfect and the service was first class as it was very busy 10 out of 10 to the waiter/waitresses! Would highly recommend

The in week lunch menu is superb, but we have struggled to find any wine by the glass which is even 'good'. The free bottle we had when first registering was superb!

Lovely meal and service, so much so we went the second night and it was even better. It's really nice to eat French food as I have lived in france before.

A most enjoyable meal. We were not rushed through our courses. The staff were courteous and helpful. My prawn starter was very acceptable and the lamb main course very tender and no too much. My friend's meal was equally as good, followed by two very good sweets. Many thanks for a good lunch and particularly for your attention to my gluten free requirements. Babs

Very good food for a very good price with very good service. I eat there at least twice a week, going up to 3 times in July..

Had booked for brunch. Good atmosphere, food and attentive staff. Have been there before for lunch, also good food and the Monday - Friday fixed price menu is great value.

Excellent food and friendly service, served quickly as we were going to the theatre afterwards. The steak and frites are recommended. And the crumble is wonderful. Don't particularly like the included service charge though.

Great dining, lovely place with a very friendly waiter. I had the salmon fishcakes which were wonderful, my friend had the duck which was also great and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!

The greeting was very friendly, the food was delicious and the service was efficient and quick. The set menu is always at a very good price so means that we visit more often.

We regularly go to Cote and will be going back again! The food is always fantastic and the service is great. The seasonal change in menu keeps the choices current and the drinks menu is good too. It's not ideal for a romantic dinner (unless you don't mind being overheard) as the tables are quite close together but the ambience is super and everyone always looks happy. Chocolate mousse is a must for chocolate lovers! Yum. X

Superb service. Very attentive throughout the meal Food was excellent. Usual Cote superb experience! Every dish was brought promptly and almost instinctively at the right time required. Super super dining.

We chose the set menu @ £10.95 for two courses. Very good value and a good choice of items. My wife's chicken was rather dry for which our attentive waiter was very apologetic and arranged for free coffees. Service charge of 12 1/2% seems rather high and can be refused but we felt was justified. From this and previous visits I would rate Cote as a restaurant that can be relied on for a very good experience at a reasonable price.

Great staff, excellent service, well cooked good food and frequent menu changes. What's not to love. Have never had a bad meal here and we have been regularly since it opened some years ago. Love CAMBRIDGE Cote.

Menu you good and staff energetic but cooking a bit hit or miss. Cold poached eggs, granular chocolate pot, noisy bottle bank, but good pizzaladiere.

The lunch was to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had a great time and lovely food. My friend really enjoyed her first visit to Cote and would like to take her daughter there soon.

Cote Brasserie is a nicely placed restaurant near the Quay side, They do a very good pre Theatre deal and the food is not pretentious at all.The service was good .The atmosphere is pleasant.

Great food good value for money easy to get to. Staff are very attentive polite. Would book again. The rewards bottle of wine was a massive bonus

We met up with a friend for a pre-theatre meal last Friday. I'd booked a table, as Cambridge can get busy, and we didn't want to be disappointed. Anyway, the meal and the service were just right.

I arrived earlier than booked but the table was ready and perfect for 6 of us having a catch-up. It was a lovely day with the breeze flowing gently through the restaurant. We all opted for the 2-course lunch for £10.95 and agreed that the choice of starters and mains was excellent - something for everyone. The service was, as ever, very professional and discreet: water brought and replaced without asking, the food arriving promptly. looking tempting. Everyone agreed we'd come back again for one of our regular get-togethers. Just one thing .... the filtered water provided so liberally is lovely but why is it in such small, heavy 'bottles'? Between the six of us on a hot day, we must have got through at least nine bottles - wouldn't a jug be easier all round?

We had a lovely evening. It was a very busy evening being a Saturday night but the service was excellent and we didn't have very long to wait for our main meal or dessert. Staff very friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Food was delicious - pork belly for me, veal and chicken for my companions. Service friendly and relatively efficient. Deserts classically good - Lemon tart stood out.
