Côte Cambridge

A fantastic meal for a family celebration. We were looked after so well with the perfect balance of formality and comfort. We all had excellent meals and were impressed with the standard of the menu and the cooking. Thankyou vote brasserie.

Always a good meal with great service. Very good value for money. Our regular place to eat in Cambridge. Have been to other Cote in various towns and never been disappointed

Great time had at Cote Cambridge celebrating my daughters graduation. Whilst the restaurant was busy the service and meal were good. Overcharged for the whiskey though!

As usual very good food and also a very pleasant chat with the other diners around which helped make the whole meal a relaxing experience.

Very friendly efficient service. Lovely food. All of our meals were different, chicken, steak, fish. All superbly cooked and all served at same time. Service charge was included on bill and was very high. If service wasn't good, we would not have paid it. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

We often meet our friends here as we know what the ambience is like, the food is always good, and we nearly always have the steak Frits. I do think that they need to sign the toilets, as nobody could find it and had to ask, there are is no signage, apart from mind your head on the beams !

Good service, good food, as always. We were given that very special table, like a high table, since we were a big party of 8, 6 of them who had just arrived from Brazil. That helped to make the occasion even more special.

Busy Saturday lunchtime, yet personal service, no sense of rush to finish, waiter took photos of us friends who met at College 52 years ago!!

We normally go to Cote for dinner Today we had a delicious breakfast. The staff were efficient & friendly as usual. We will continue to go there & recommend to our friends.

Really nice meal with attentive service at all times despite a busy restaurant. The menu is wide enough to satisfy most taste ranges and they do not rush you through like some restaurants but I wouldn't say they made you wait for your food so a very happy medium.

The staff were so helpful and professional, they helped with giving us the best table for my mother and stepfather who are acoustically challenged. The food was good and the atmosphere superb. Overall great value for money.

My wife had an omelette as her main dish. It was overcooked and dry. Surely a French bistro can cook an omelette properly - soft and moist inside ? Otherwise the service and the meal were very good. Adrian Hill

As a loyal Cote breakfast eater we tried Cambridge as we happened to be there this weekend. They were a bit stingy on portions compared to our usual Cote but made sure to put it right once mentioned. Great customer service and overall another great breakfast and get together with friends.

The potatoes were rock hard and not cooked. This is potentially very dangerous for two people in their mid eighties. Also, White coffees were ordered and what was given were two black Americano's. Bad inattentive service and bad food. Undercooked potatoes is inexcusable. This was highlighted at the time. However, no refund was offered.

Very friendly staff and quickly seated. Decent house wine and very tasty meal sadly let down by 2 lukewarm fish pies that we ordered. Not enough to return it but did take the shine of the meal

Calamari starter nice. July special, duck confit was quite a small plate with fried potatoes and no veg, fish soup very good. Cheese board reasonable. Left feeling specials were a bit penny pinched in portion size. Would go again but probably avoid specials.

Excellent service, order was taken quickly and food arrive in a good time, food cooked to perfection and a lovely surprise for our anniversary great customer service!! Our second visit.

It was nice, had to cook another meal As the chicken was raw a bit which resulted in getting the meal free, which I feel was fair. It hasn't put me off. I'd go back again.

We find Cote at Cambridge and Bury st Edmunds consistently good. The food is excellent and the staff always polite and friendly. We love the fillet steaks.

The Côte Brasserie in Cambridge is a great dining experience. The staff are dedicated to providing first class service and food and nothing is too much trouble for them. We love visiting this friendly restaurant.

I had booked a table for two and we were seated by the window. Staff are always delightful and attentive and wish to be helpful. Food is always well presented and delicious. We pick Cote because it is always reliable for food and ambiance.

Very good the staff are very nice will always accommodate any requests we have , the food is nice all in all we always eat here when we are in Cambridge , in fact after shopping we can't wait to have a nice meal here and a glass of wine lovely what more could you ask for .

We went to Cotes in Cambridge last Saturday night with two of our friends we had a great meal, my husband is gluten free and they catered for him it's hard to find a restaurant that is gluten free friendly, staff were very helpful it's the second time of going and we would go again Mrs L Park

Excellent food as always, good attentive waiting staff and all at a reasonable price. Pear and endive salad brilliant taste and just right amount for a starter.

Excellent 'French breakfast' enjoyed at Cote today. Food quality is always reliable. Service is also very good. And capuccinos come without the 'automatic' unnecessary chocolate - a mark of a high-quality eatery.

We had an excellent meal with friends on a hot, busy Saturday evening in Cambridge. We were shown to a table near the open windows so the temperature was comfortable. The service was great, very thoughtful. I got my pud extra quick as I had to leave to sing in a concert. The food was well presented, extremely tasty and wine nicely chilled. Our friends who are real foodies thought so too!

Lovely food, the pre theatre menu is a real bargain and it's available on a Friday (up to 7pm). Lovely and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

A most enjoyable meal. We were not rushed through our courses. The staff were courteous and helpful. My prawn starter was very acceptable and the lamb main course very tender and no too much. My friend's meal was equally as good, followed by two very good sweets. Many thanks for a good lunch and particularly for your attention to my gluten free requirements. Babs

I come here with my family often, the food is good, the service and the ambiance pleasant. Can be quite noisy. This time i was pleasantly surprised by the waitress asking if I wanted the coffee with the dessert or after - I like both at the same time, always asking for it, usually not getting it...

Excellent food and service. Would recommend the crab and advocadi starter and the salad with Roquefort and walnuts. Delicious. All on the fixed price menu!

The pea and broad bean risotto was excellent, as was the dessert of Creme Caramel. My only gripe was that the top came off the pepper grinder with the result that peppercorns fell into my risotto; however, this was rectified quickly.

A lovely meal with excellent friendly service. The food was delicious and the staff whilst very attentive did not rush us in any way. This made our experience very relaxed.

No large print menu for VI guest, risotto tasteless and only 2 discernible pieces of asparagus, charged for the complimentary Birthday drinks, finally adjusted bill.

Lovely meal and service, so much so we went the second night and it was even better. It's really nice to eat French food as I have lived in france before.
