Lovely meal good value. Gratuity added to bill is not right, please allow customer decide how much the service is worth could be worth more the 12.5%!

It was a Fabulous evening, the food was absolutely gorgeous and the service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend, and hope to eat there again soon

Another excellent lunch at Cote Brasserie. Never disappoints. We selected the £15 special menu- charantais melon and savoire ham was delicious and plentiful. The French onion soup, as always, superb. Have to say la piece de la resistance was the belly pork. It was so tender you could cut it with a spoon. The potato gratin was great too. Two large glasses of their always good merlot and it all added up to a wonderful to a lunch. Can't wait for our next visit!

As ever the food was of a good standard and reasonably priced. However on this occasion the service fell way below the normal standard. No waiting staff and 2 managers more interested in setting tables for the evening and talking to their friends.

Great food for Coeliac’s! It’s really nice to have good choice on the menu and eat food confidently knowing it’s prepared to a high standard acceptable to Coeliac’s .

Service was a little slow and the pork belly was 75% fat - shame as the meat was really tasty. but lovely choc fondant pudding.

Excellent food, good wine, charming, efficient service. I ate fillet of plaice with basil mash and braised lettuce and peas, well composed dish, properly cooked. Followed by a superb crème caramel. Faultless

We regularly visit Cote in Cambridge as you can always rely on a fabulous service and excellent food! Cote is still our favourite restaurant in Cambridge!

Generally a lovely meal - but some disagreement about what constituted a medium steak?? Our waitress agreed with us but the manager begged to differ. All well in the end with smiles and a complimentary pudding for us. And we had a lovely night out with our son. Thank you!

Varied and interesting menu with French theme, attentive and smiling staff and excellent food. Reminded me of holidays spent in Brittany, with weather to match.

We use the Cambridge and Bury st Edmunds Cote restaurants quite offered and also without exception find the service to be professional and friendly. The food quality is consistently good and the fillet steaks and alway so tender and tasty.

Busy lunchtime, but staff cope admirably with a smile. Set menu, steak and plaice cooked to perfection. Slightly longer wait for food but not enough to complain.

I've always enjoyed eating here but tonight was a little under par. The waiter was pleasant but very busy and forgot a drinks order and side plates for bread. I ordered the duck which arrived overcooked but was still tasty. My mum ordered the cod goujons which she enjoyed.

Chicken wasn’t great but chocolate mousse was very nice! Pleasant atmosphere. Garlic bread was too big as a starter. Wine was very good as was the crème caramel.

OK but some discussion re voucher for free aperitifs. Eventually resolved to my satisfaction. Food good and service up to standard. It's 'our go' to restaurant. The 12.5% service is a bit high but service is generally good.

Good food but Had to ask twice for our table to be cleared and to see the desert menu. With a 12.5% service charge added, one would expect a higher standard of table service especially when the restaurant was not especially busy.

The pre-theatre set menu was removed from the table even before 6:30am, when it should be available at 7pm; The 12.5% service charge was added on our bill without any notification or questions. Both items above has given us an unpleasant feeling of being set up in a trap - if it was well communicated, it would have been much better. And I think for the two reasons above, I would not book here again. The seafood is not fresh, and overall the quality of food is below average.

I eat at Cote in Cambridge quite often and it is always really good. I have never had a bad meal and the varying menu offers make it a go to at any time...exceptional food and service!!

We had a lovely, convivial, dinner as a celebration of our son's graduation. My only complaint is that the price for the set menu had gone up by £5/head -- whereas the sign outside still displayed the old, cheaper, price. The food was delicious and the service attentive and charming...although we could have done with a better welcome when we arrived with one extra person; the problem was resolved at once so why was it ever a problem...perhaps a bit more flexibility is called for?

Excellent carpaccio of tuna, which we both chose. I then had a vegetable risotto, which wasn't bad but did not achieve the right texture for either the rice or the liquid. My companion's duck breast arrived very, very undercooked, though she had asked for it pink. The restaurant did, however, take it away and cooked it more, so that she enjoyed it -- and decided to deduct the whole item from the bill, because of the trouble we had had. The service was efficient and charming. Had there not been the deduction, the price of just over £60, with two small glasses of wine and bread, would have been reasonable, though not cheap.

A very enjoyable lunch...good choices and nicely served by smiling and charming staff...Cote always the place to go for a good quality meal in a pleasant armosphere...

A good value meal in a well-sited restaurant which, though a little crowded on a warm June evening, was nevertheless quite congenial. As usual at Cote, the staff were efficient and pleasant.

Famous experience and the wait staff very knowledgeable quick service and attentive. We had the pre theatre set meal which for the price was out of this world. Will definitely be back.

Good location and atmosphere. Charming and helpful waitress.Delicious starters and creme brulee, but the boeuf bourguignonne was a little dry. Perhaps not the best dish to choose on a warm summer's evening !

We were nicely greeted and seated We had a wonderfully cheerful waitress who was patient as we were 3 couples who had not for some time and took our time to order The food as ever with Cote was excellent All in all a very pleasant lunch experience

Wonderful evening with great, attentive service and very good food, as always. Despite the restaurant being very busy, on a Wednesday night. Made our birthday dinner very special. Will be visiting again soon.

Food was excellent, service was very patchy as it was very busy. One lovely waitress saved the day with her very friendly manner and enthusiastic attitude, she was literally running around.

Lovely food as always and pleasant service, if a little harried ... but be aware that the pre-theatre menu is NOT available on a Saturday.

Lovely atmosphere as usual and delicious starters but the mains unfortunately were dry (hake and chicken - the latter very dry as were the potatoes as if they had been left warming up for too long) we were too hungry to notify/ask for a redo and wait again at the time which was a shame though were offered complimentary deserts (we were too full so had a coffee eachbinstead).

Table reserved as requested, professional staff at Cotes a Brassiere, and food was beyond expectations!... The ambience was excellent. The Manager was very attentive despite a very packed restaurant. Very happy indeed.

Early evening meal, receiving a Cote reward of a bottle of wine to accompany a la carte menu. Fish parmentier hot and tasty with plenty of seafood. Service excellent

Food was really yummy, hot drinks were not very good and the service was kinda slow but it was fathers day so it was busy.

Choose Cote for lunch with my friend on her annual visit from Australia, knowing the food is always good and reasonably priced. The savoury omlette with fries and salad were perfect and my sea bream was beautifully cooked and served. Nobody hurried us to leave after we finished eating. A good and fulfilling experience on all counts.

Saturday night and a very busy restaurant but shown quickly to our table by friendly and efficient staff.Food was served quickly and was good quality and well prepared so will return.

Very lovely food & good service! Starter of Duck liver Pate with Brioche was so delicious & the standout but all food was good! I will be back soon!

Great service, food was really excellent, we booked our next meal at the restaurant before we left. We've had three meals there already, and we were only in Cambridge for three days.

Service was outstanding, as usual, even though it's May Week in Cambridge. The staff know all the fine touches and never leave a diner feeling neglected. Food was superb and prices very reasonable. I wish we had Côte in the US!

Pleasant visit. Initially cool main course was replaced by more than satisfactorily hot serving. Service good but not as good as usual at this outlet.

The duck is so good perfectly cooked .The creme caramels are so special. Service was attentive and the wine perfectly chilled.As usual a good experience.

Very good food, relaxed atmosphere and excellent service. My friend and I enjoyed the starters, asparagus and calamari. Then we had crepes with spinach and mushrooms and salmon with ratatouille. We had a bottle of sparkling water, I had a white wine spritzer.

Excellent meal, service and surroundings. I would like to offer a special thanks to the manager and our waitress in making our 30th wedding anniversary meal such a special occasion and one we will remember. We are regular customers to the Cambridge restaurant and will continue to be so.
