Try the St Germain Gin and Tonic from August specials; a lovely drink! Fish parmentier and duck confit served; up to Cote usual high standards
An offer of a complimentary spritzer encouraged us to have a meal from the main menu. Minute steak was tough, as was the replacement, unusual for Cote; finished up with cod goujons, bill adjusted with profuse apologies.
We have been to many different Cote restaurants. You are always sure of a quality meal withought paying through the nose. The Cote restaurant in Cambridge is certainly no exception.
Not at all bad, but a) the floating cheese-topped bread in the onion soup has a tough crust- impossible to eat without knife and fork b) the salad under the tuna nicoise was good, but the searing of the tuna was too vigorous, leaving a burnt taste which dominated the fish
An enjoyable lunch from the Prestige menu. Pleasant and prompt service. As always Cote delivers a good value experience. We arrived half an hour early for our booking which was no problem whatsoever.
Very enjoyable meal that was inexpensive - the waitress forgot the bottle of wine with our meal and there wasn't any air conditioning where we sat which was a shame but we had a good time.
The table was excellent for six of us. Nicely positioned. Service was good and the menu and food excellent. I would not hesitate to dine there often.
Fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was delicious; our whole group were thoroughly pleased. Try the Breton Stew or the Roasted Pork Belly!
This is a great restaurant in the heart of the town serving very authentic French food. The cream caramel is one if their specialities and is the best I have ever had. The duck breast is also recommend.
The food and service is always very good. We know that if we go to a " Cote " we are pretty much sure to have a good experience, something by no means true for other places.
Great place - all nice, friendly professional staff. Good food. We had pork belly - perfectly cooked then creme caramel. Recommend this restaurant to all.
Cote is a very pleasant location for lunch with a friend. There is a good choice from the set menu - at a reasonable price. Staff friendly and polite.
Today’s visit restored our faith in Côte Cambridge. After a little hiccup last month we hoped that things would be back to normal this month, and we weren’t disappointed,. You can’t fault the value for money and quality of food at this price. On this visit the service matched the food. I’m pleased to report that the status quo has been restored and that the excellent service we’d experienced previously has been restored.
Pleasant meal with good service. Côte reliably delivers a pleasing lunch time menu and good value for money. The Cambridge restaurant is located close to the city centre.
Fantastic attentive service with best tasting food in area, we keep going back for the set promotional menu just keep going back and back on special occasions.
Having had reactions at restaurants who claim to offer gluten free dishes, as a coeliac, I always feel confident there will be no issues when dining at Cote.
Very attentive staff on a Saturday night. The food was delicious and served quickly. Rated 5 stars rather than as their air con was not working and it was extremely hot.
Another visit by self, my wife & friends to one of the Côte group. As usual, a very pleasant (good value) lunch with helpful, friendly staff in comfortable surroundings. The menu choices were extensive & all four of us had a very enjoyable lunch.
Quite spacious but lively in a great central location in this busy City offering the reliable Cote menu range and good service. The set menu and monthly specials always worth considering ahead of the main menu.
Cote Cambridge is located in an airy restaurant with generous views of busy street life adjacent to St John's College and on the thoroughfare to the main south-north crossing of the river. The staff are unfailingly friendly and helpful, and the simple menu ideal for a light lunch. Reasonable prices and efficient service.
The food was ok, nothing exceptional. Maybe it was the wrong choice of dishes. The service was adequate. I had a better service before at Cote.
I’d made the reservation online, a table for three, and we had a good position - a good view out the windows, in a bustling part of the ground floor, but without being cramped or pushed-by. The food was ok but not outstanding. Service was cheerful but quite slow.
Very Nice breakfast ,I would advise to book ahead to get best seats One order was delivered wrongly but swiftly corrected ,Formule menu very good value
Service was friendly and efficient which considering that the restaurant was extremely busy was impressive. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection as was my wife's sea bass.
Food was good although service a bit over bearing - kept asking if we wanted more drinks every 10 mins!
Extremely friendly staff. Wonderful food. Will definitely be going back again! Very surprising large restaurant, which means the tables weren't cramped together, so not noisy.
Our booking was for 18:30 at the end of a long hot Wednesday & the 'meeter & greeter' was obviously tired! Our brief indecision on choice of table irritated him & he rapidly disappeared, never to be seen again, once we'd decided - first impressions still count. However, the food was, as ever, excellent; the young lady serving was delightful & we left on a happy note.
It was great. We were meeting friends from USA whom we hadn’t seen for 30 years. Staff were great and the atmosphere perfect. Thankyou Cote.
It was Lovely, we had great service, the food was amazing, we would definitely recommend the restaurant and would definitely go back again, hopefully very soon
Always like Cote but this branch was the best so far. Excellent service, nic3 atmosphere and brilliant summer lunch menu. Manageress never stopped working and just the right amount of attentiveness.
We booked for a birthday lunch. Unfortunately the bread was so hard with the starter that we had to send it back . 2 of the party had chicken which had been kept warm and dried out , mussels weren’t hot enough and to top it off we waited 1 hour & 15 minutes for our meal!
Very nice food but service a bit slow. In the heat we would prefer a bit more of air conditioning. The experience was quite enjoyable.
Excellent service, excellent food. Made up for the last time we were here when we didn’t have a good experience! Andre our waiter was very attentive and the food was great.
Food was great and service was good. Only issue was we ordered some bread and nibbles but none arrived. They weren’t added in bill so I think the nice gentleman just forgot!
Cote is very reliable, always good food, good choice at a reasonable price. Service was very efficient and friendly. It’s well run even when busy. Good online booking system
Great food & good service as always. I'm a regular at the restaurant, usually go at lunch time for the pre-theater menu, have also tried the prestigious menu. They're both very good. I love that the menu changes monthly. This time I had the chicken liver parfait starter & plaice as main. As I don't like peas, I asked if I could swap it for some other veg. I was able to choose from the sides with no extra cost. I had some lovely creamed spinach in the end. It was an enjoyable meal with my friend, we were both too full to have dessert this time but we love the creme caramel & crumble.
As always a good meal in a pleasant environment with friendly and professional service. The restaurant was very busy when we visited and it was still as good.

Lovely meal great service! Have been a few times and it’s always nice. Great value for money for such a nice meal. Will be back
We really enjoyed the lunch but the service was very slow. We had to wait a long time between starter and main. I had the pork belly but the cabbage wasn't what I would call braised.
Wonderful cool and calming atmosphere. The food is very French and beautifully presented and very delicious. The set menu is a must try. The staff are friendly and attentive. Always a lovely meal.
We always enjoy our experience at Cote, we have been having lunch here regularly. The service is always excellent and the food is always good value.

Pleasant dining experience. Attentive waiting staff and beautifully cooked food served promptly. My only criticism is that, owing to all the hard surfaces and tables placed near one another, the restaurant was fairly noisy.
Not up to usual standard when visited on a Saturday night. Mussels were stringy and tasteless, though duck was good. Service was fine, but I expect food to be better than most .
It was very helpful service, and good food. We missed some items from the old menu, but i guess you need to change it occasionally!
Efficient, friendly and attentive - but not too attentive - service. The food was good and served at just the right pace with no rushing but no waiting.
Fantastic food as always. Specials on the pre theatre menu always lovely. Staff and Service fabulous!
As always food and service excellent. Would recommend as main menu is great but the specials and pre theatre always have some thing great too if you fancy a change.
I ate brunch here on a Saturday with a visitor from California who loved it - a good range of possibilities and all very tasty as well as inexpensive.
Excellent service as we have come to expect at Cote, Cambridge. It was my birthday celebration and received complimentary glasses of Kir Royal to go with our meal.
Lovely ambience and food in a great location. The set menu was exceptionally great value, we could only mange 2 courses! Would recommend for anyone looking for a Cambridge resusurat in town.
