Côte Cambridge

Pleasant, efficient service and excellent food. We requested, and got, a fairly quiet table in what can be a noisy restaurant. My wife and have been there often with friends and find it a dependably pleasant experience.

Visited yesterday for an early dinner. We both had September course menu, they are really delicious, the cream caramel is always our favourite! 🍮 😋 We can’t wait to visit next time soon. Thanks so much.

Another very enjoyable meal at Cote Cambridge. With helpful and efficient staff and as we choose to eat mid afternoon the restaurant is slightly quieter which we prefer. Love the burger on the weekend specials!

Cote is a fabulous place, always consistent with great staff. Very friendly and relaxed place to eat. Would highly recommend to anyone so don't be put off that it is a chain because every single Cote I have eaten at has been great.

Very good ambience, excellent service, very good value. My menu choices were not as exciting as previously, but the per-theatre menu is an amazing thing indeed!

Regular visitors. Usually good but very poor this time. Food not as good, service poor. Lots of waiters about but parts of order missing, had to ask where desserts were after long wait. Will think twice before returning.

Brilliant for Coeliacs, you can eat here without cross contamination worries. Definitely eat here If you have a Coeliac in your in family or friendship group. All our food was lovely too.

Top notch as always, with the waiting staff on the ball and attentive. The lunch menu was excellent with a nice choice. Nowhere better than Cote!

Don’t order the steak. Everything else was nice. Back to steak . Sirloin medium rear. Thickness one inch to half inch. So very rear to well done. Tough ( could have been a rump) . 30 day ageing is a bit of tease. The service was very pleasant if slightly not up to speed with what is on offer. Will come again but avoid the steak. 🙂

Excellent services. Food good did not have to wait long, in spite of it being very busy. Staff did not hover making us feel we should leave once meal finished.

The staff didn't seem that engaged with us. The first course arrived very shortly after our olives arrived instead of waiting for us to finish them which meant that we started running out of room on the table. Items were not cleared away quickly enough and we struggled for space. The restaurant wasn't busy but we struggled for the attention of staff. The overall experience was poor. I say that because we use the Bury St Edmunds Cote quite often and the experience there is just superb, so I am comparing directly.

Excellent service. Food really tasty and fantastic . Wish there was a Cote Brasserie in Ely, as we would visit more often. We used to go to Cote in Cambridge a couple of times a month, but parking, and getting out of Cambridge is a nightmare , so only visit occasionally.

We had booked for four, good table & a warm welcome from our waiter. Food was very good, very tasty & presented well. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely food and excellent service, as always. The special set menu is just right for a quick bite at lunch time. The ice cream was great.

The Cote, Cambridge provides good food at a reasonable price. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend the Cote for a good meal in a comfortable atmosphere.

The food as always was delicious. The evening was marred by the noise from a family who allowed there four small children to scream, run around, and even play hide and seek among the aisles endangering themselves, the waiters and certainly our conversation. I have great sympathy for families, but they should stick with McDonalds until the kids reach an age to visit an expensive restaurant. Our host was incensed by the failure of the manager to intervene before things became totally out of control, and even after he spoke to her, she said only that they were paying the bill at that point and would be leaving shortly. Sheought certainly to have spoken politely to the family to ask them to control the kids. I , having booked this establishment on his behalf, was embarrassed. He chose to show his displeasure by removing the service part of the bill. This was also disagreeable to us as the service of our waiter had been exceptional. All in all, it made the evening tense and disagreeable.

We try and eat at Cote Cambridge at least once a month as the standard and quality of the food is excellent. Their monthly specials menus always give a wide choice.

We had tgeatre set menu, my daughter premium and mine usual August one. To cerebrate for our August birthday and her exam success. The food were amazing, tasty and fresh, we were mostly impressed with the presentation, as well. Staffs are all so friendly, welcoming and leaving greeting making us to feel like to come back again. Thanks so much for our special day.

Lovely restaurant in a great location. Staff and menu up to Cote's usual high standards and house wine is excellent.I will definitely return next time I am in Cambridge.

The food is really good, staff is very attentive. They made me feel welcome but not overwhelmed. The managers Monica and Lily always are really polite and professional. I would rate the experience with a 10.

Great menu, great service. Love this place. Very overcrowded at weekends therefore quite challenging for personnel but the guys do their best to provide excellent experience

Nice location (Cambridge) and typical Cote restaurant. As usual food to a very good standard with all requested items in stock. Staff rushed off their feet (Saturday night) but coped well and were very attentive. All in all a good experience.

Very tasty food and relatively good service, although staff did not check back to see if food was okay. A noisy environment where it was difficult to hear other people in my party. We were sitting at a table with staff and other customers constantly walking past our table. It seemed that tables were squeezed into every corner of the restaurant. Prices on the high side with a 12.5% service charge.

Another great meal on the set menu. Continued great service and value. Worth a visit. Stall are helpful and very attentive and always a welcoming approach when entering the restaurant.

Good value for money and well prepared food with sensible choices . I had the steak from the set menu which was very good - however it was warm rather than hot when it reached the table . Service was good but like many restaurants in this country once you have paid your money nobody really wants to give you a warm good bye - come again at the door! A pity. I was in the Wimbledon branch recently and they were excellent at this bit. Otherwise highly recommend. JO

Saturday early dinner check in. Good food, lovely atmosphere and great service. Check out the wine list, particularly good value I think. What more could you ask for?

Enjoyed our lunch today, the food was delicious and the ambience was very good. The waitress who looked after us was on her first day but did very well. We will go again.

Excellent meal and could not fault anything. Would go back again. The staff were very attentive and the food was superb. Would recommend it to a friend.

A great experience. Friendly waiting staff, tasty food and pleasant surroundings. We especially appreciated an extensive gluten-free menu. My niece thought it was clever to have little flags planted in all the gluten-free options so she could be sure of what she was eating. We enjoyed it. Thank you.

Food lovely, service awful - very very slow. It didn’t get any better when I said I had a plane to catch! Looks very dirty .

Excellent food, super service and a great buzz about the place. The only set back is that the restaurant is a bit warm, better air con would be good in this summer weather didn't spoil our evening though we had a great time.

Steak frites was cold and overdone - however it was replaced quickly and I was not charged. The confit duck tasted as it had been kept warm for some time - the meat dry and the skin

Nice restaurant and food delivered together. Only problem was two of us had our food delivered cold, this was returned and re heated. Eventually returned but by this time others had nearly finished. Not what I would expect from Cote, or any other restaurant. Apologies were given and bill reduced.

Lovely food, and handy location in central Cambridge. The mussels were excellent. Really great service despite the fact that it was a busy Friday night.

Great food, Great service and Great location! Celebrating nieces exam results, waiter was very attentive and made her feel very special. Will definitely return soon.
