Constantly interrupted by the waiting staff, presumably doing the up selling, bread, olives etc, after a long day travelling the corporate in your face, bums in seats didn't really hit the target market in cambridge, normally dine with yourselves but seriously tone down on the over fussy service style

Excellent evening, attentive but unobtrusive staff, great food. Nice ambiance and comfortable setting. It's the little things that make Cote a cut above the rest. Proper napkins, a beaker of ice and lemon to add to your water, hot plates and new cutlery with each course. Thank you.

The food is always delicious. The staff are polite, well trained and professional. We've never waited more than ten minutes for the food, it's fantastic. I'll be back. Actually I was one of the first customers, I came to the friends and family tastings before the restaurant actually opened!

Absolutely excellent all the way through. We came twice and you don't return if you don't like it the first time! We've visited a few times before in the past and the standard is excellent. Breton Fish Stew and a bottle of red (the one at the top of the list). The staff are excellent and the speed and service very, very good. The atmosphere is ideal, occasionally a little noisy but it is a bustling busy restaurant. No complaints at all with the Cambridge Cote Brasserie and we'll definitely be back.

Formulaic service. We would prefer to add our own tip rather than it being added. Shame that the waiter dropped cutlery on my clothes. He did apologise profusely.

A delicious meal started off with really great - and free! - cocktails. As always, the staff were friendly and helpful and the quality of the food was very good. The duck was especially tasty.

Cote is for me the best in Cambridge for value for money. Delicious Whitebait and Poulet Chausseur last night. Excellent service. Always return and never disappointed.

The Cote in Cambridge never fails to deliver. We go there regularly with my inlaws, who are in their 90's and we all love it. The food is great, perfect portion sizes, and the staff are charming. This Sunday was my father-in-laws 97th birthday and he was even presented with a small cake with a candle on it and it made his day! Thank you Cote - keep on doing what you're doing!

Had half a chargrilled chicken which was probably more than a half and well grilled. Not enough beans but we asked for more and got them. Gratin potatoes delicious. Polish waitress delightful. Well done Côte.

Really enjoyed our monthly dinner at Cote. We go to the theatre matinee so are pleased you are open all day for an early dinner for us. I redeemed the email voucher so we each got a free cocktail which was lovely. Am GLUTONFREE so pleased to find you have a separate menu with plenty on it. Staff lovely too.

Lovely meal to celebrate a friends birthday. We were given a complementary Kir Royal which was a fabulous gesture. Overall a wonderful evening.

Wonderful food and friendly service even when it was super busy. I am coeliac and I’m always so happy with the gluten free menus, the knowledge of the staff, and the g/f flags you get in the food! So reassuring. Would definitely recommend.

The cassoulet had undercooked beans, the mirabelle plum tart wasn't good, and service was very slow. We waited a long time for every course, then a long time again for the check. On the plus side the onion soup and beef bourguignon were good.

Lovely food and great service. However the main course portions were fairly small. I was still a little hungry after the meal. The fish pie was mostly mash potato and there wasn’t a single prawn in it.

The food was really good and the service excellent - though at times they were struggling to sustain a consistent high standard. Other than a few times we had to wait for someone to notice that we had a request, we had a completely unblemished evening.

This remains the most reliable eating venue in Cambridge. A lively atmosphere, delightful staff, well cooked food and good value. Our first choice every time.

We always look forward to dining at Côtes. There is a large and varied menu always with a number of options for us to choose from. The food is always well presented and cooked as we like it. Service is very good with no long waits betwee courses. Very much recommend.

I have never had a bad experience at Cote, Cambridge. The food is delicious and service is exceptional. Unfortunately, last evening when I came for dinner at 19:30 our three courses were not that hot. We were having a celebratory dinner and did not want to complain and ruin the atmosphere of the night, however this is the first time this has happened which was disappointing. I was particularly upset as the Chocolate Fondant desert was advised to be hot as it was a cold evening and was not.

Great staff and food was good. Promptly sat down to our pre booked table and were actually given a choice of 2 tables to choose from. Only negative comment really is that the restaurant gets so hot it is uncomfortable and is noiy as the sound echos.
