Côte Cambridge

Food is always very tasty, well cooked and nicely presented, today was no exception - the Breton Fish Stew was delicious. The service was welcoming and excellent as always.

We had such a pleasant evening - my daughter's birthday. Shown to a super table - no nearby noise - very helpful pleasant staff - loved the special offer of the free Gin and Tonic - got us off to a very good start! All the food was good - we all had different things and the vegetarian was extremely happy to have his own menu. We always enjoy Cote and this time was just as good as ever.

We have been there quite a few times and the food, and service have always been very good.The helpful and friendly staff make for a very pleasant atmosphere.

As usual the food was excellent even though one of the guests steaks was not cooked as required but it was replaced without any problem and discounted from our bill, although we had not suggested this. Charming staff and the Manageress of the Cambridge branch runs a "tight ship" which is a pleasure to see! Can't wait to return again soon. Linda Walker and family

Always go to this restaurant when in Cambridge - its just so good!

Food was delicious, atmosphere was lovely, very friendly and attentive staff. Only downside was that there was no allergen list available for two of our party who had multiple food allergies. Although the staff were very helpful in going through their choices, it would be much more reassuring for people with allergies to be able to see an ingredients list/ allergen list. There are great gluten free and vegetarian menus but for those with nut and seed allergies with risk of anaphylaxis there is no written information

I book a group of 8 to 10 persons for lunch every month. For value, choice, service, quality, Cote ticks all the boxes. We could go to many other restaurants in Cambridge but there is never a suggestion to move.

This was my first time at Cote and I really enjoyed it. Service was fast, efficient and friendly and the food was good too. I am on a gluten free diet. The staff knew exactly what that meant and I had every confidence that the food served was safe for me to eat.

Very enjoyable evening with superb food,service was impeccable and the staff were friendly.The only downside was that some desserts were out of stock which meant 2 of our guests went without.

Excellent meal and attentive staff. Overall a lovely family occasion to celebrate a special day. We would certainly go back another day. Early evening proved to be a good time at Cote.

Loved the main course I recommend the sea bass. The dessert, the April special, was disappointing but our complaint was dealt with courteously. We eat at Cote regularly and can expect the same high level of service and quality of food almost every time.

Lovely food and staff were very friendly and accommodating will definitely be going back again soon set menu very big portions and well worth for value for money

The rest was rather chilly and the food okay. The service was good. Cote is not what it used to be. The bread is no longer complimentary for example.

We visit Cote once a month and as usual enjoyed our lunch immensely. The food was excellent and the portions today very generous Service was up to its normal high standard. I recommend this restaurant .

Lovely lunch with really good service! Food came out very promptly and we were never left long before a member of staff checked on us to see if we needed anything else. We will be back!

Expensive for what it was and disappointing as no gluten free frites or rib eye steak. Over priced side orders.

Thank you again for a warm welcome when we returned to Cote Cambridge bringing friends with us for their first visit. Our requested table was ready for us and we all enjoyed good food in a great place.

Beautiful day in Cambridge then on to Cote for lunch, welcomed by Monika with a Kir Royale! We always enjoy the lunchtime set menu and today it was just as good as ever, we finished with their amazing Creme Caramel. Wonderful atmosphere and attentive service from the Cote team. I don't why I bother to reply to these Cote surveys because the meal, service and atmosphere is always good. I love the breast of duck! However tonight was an exception when the service was faster than usual. Admittedley it was only two courses. When all done we were on our way in under 1 hour. Fast or what? The car park charge was only £1.60! I think it could have been a little slower to encourage taking to the wife (Football on TV 3 nights running!).

A very pleasant meal which was well cooked and which had the additional benefit of a free aperitif for each of us. Service polite and helpful

Reliably good.Visited on mothers day,early evening with husband and his mum.We go to Cote regularly and its always reliable.Great atmosphere.Service was a little slower this time as very busy but waiting times were fine, would highly recommend. We always ask for a table near the front as the view of Cambridge life is great. Highly recommended. There was a great value set menu, including a Kir royale, lovely!

Excellent food and service as usual. Our favourite restaurant without a doubt.

Our party of four all had a lovely experience for a relative’s birthday and pre-theatre meal. The waitress was very friendly and our meals were all delicious and served just right in terms of timing. It was only our second visit to Cambridge Cote, having eaten at Bury St Edmunds previously, and we will certainly be back. Cote really set the gold standard in terms of staff, food and ambience. Excellent food and service as always! Great ambience. Creme Brulee with raspberries was delicious.

It was OK, nice friendly staff, but our table was not brilliant. We had mussels with cider, which was very good, and port tenderloin. Quite expensive, but we enjoyed ourselves.

Enjoyed my sea bass -it was excellent. I also loved my French 75 Apéritif which was a new drink for me! As always, Côte delivered on value for money and pleasant service.

Had a great meal at Côte Cambridge. Booked a table for 7, online, on the day and had quite a few options for time, excellent service, no fuss. Mentioned we were celebrating someone's birthday milestone and they greeted us with bubbly. Waitress was great, food was wonderful, had a really good evening, will definitely be going again.

Overall good. My partner was a little disappointed with the ribeye steak ( little to fatty!) good wine and the calamari was brilliant

Greeted warmly when we entered the restaurant and given our complimentary cocktails without any nudging from us .. food wonderful - as always - only upset was a very very truculent and loud toddler who screamed for the entirety of our visit, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant or staff.

Lively atmosphere, lovely food served by courteous and friendly staff. Enjoyed the complimentary blood orange martinis that were part of the February promotion. Always a pleasure to dine at Côte Brasserie!
