Côte Cambridge

We had requested a quiet table and that was what we got which worked perfectly for us. The rest of the restaurant seemed quite noisy in comparison to our quiet alcove! Great for catching up with friends. We liked the choice of two early evening set menus and the food was served quickly and piping hot.

We visited today for breakfast to celebrate Father's Day. The food, whilst good quality, was all cold when served. The coffees were also not hot. Really disappointing. The restaurant had also run out of white bread.

We had a lovely lunch, food was fantastic, staff were great too. Our waitress even sang happy birthday and put a candle in my husbands creme caramel, which was a lovely touch for his birthday

A large, mid-range restaurant - busy and buzzy for our Saturday lunch. Always reliable - and pretty Gallic for Cambridge. An extremely courteous, helpful waiter brought us good-value food - the starters were memorable, especially the moules, which were outstanding and in a brilliant cream sauce. The minute steak + frites mains, very good value at £11.50 a portion were, as ever, nicely rare and juicy. The only tiny gripe was that the wines by the glass (not a big range of choice) were, whilst very adequate, quite overpriced. In summary, a most enjoyable experience, enhanced by professional service. We'll be back.

I love this restaurant always especially the half chicken. Something that would make it better is to have draught lager/beer. More offers would have me in more as it is quite expensive. Also one in my home town of st neots would be perfect

The waiters and waitresses were very professional and friendly. The food was very delicious and it was a lovely atmosphere within the restaurant. I was very impressed with the whole service. The only thing we would comment on is the temperature of the restaurant. There was a lot of people in the restaurant originally and it was rather warm. We asked about air conditioning and was told there wasn’t any.

Great restaurant for a quick and tasty meal, can get a bit noisy and we were right next to a door they kept opening every couple of minutes to literally throw empty bottles into. We won’t sit in that table again! Otherwise a good meal.

From start to finish our experience was excellent. The service was brilliant and the food was great. Thank you for making my mum's 88th birthday such a wonderful time.

We always enjoy eating at Cote Cambridge, mostly evening dining but also breakfast/brunch from time to time. The food is great and from a menu which has something to please everyone. The staff are always so helpful and keen to please. Service is perfectly timed. All in all, really enjoyable and satisfying.

Great food although couple of steaks not rare enough - personal preference though - but excellent service and atmosphere, thanks

As a Coeliac I appreciate the fact that there is a dedicated Gluten-free menu and that I can eat and know that the food is safe. Always the food and service are second to none. Thank you.

Another lovely lunch at our favourite restaurant. So far it has never failed us. The service is impeccable and the food is wonderful. Having just spent six weeks on the gulf coast of Florida, it’s great to get back to somewhere that understands really good food. The pork tenderloin was delicious and so tender, and the haddock was apparently very good too. Our french onion soup, and asparagus were perfect and the crumble au peche was the best crumble ever. No grumbles at all!.

Very friendly service and great food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone as the menu and wine is great and the waiting time was minimal.

Most enjoyable in ambience, service, and food.. perhaps a little noisey overall?, but never the less it did not spoil the occasion ..we will go again

My request to have a table close to the window made when I booked was disregarded. Our table was to the back of the restaurant with a medium sized window, in an open cubicle setting. When I mentioned this to the person who guided us to the table, she said you do have a window ! The acoustics were bad and as a person with hearing difficulties it took away the pleasure of enjoying a meal with my family. One of my guests main meal was returned undercooked (swordfish) and not returned, ( further cooked) until the rest of us had finished eating our main meal. Service unfriendly. We have visited previously and enjoyed the visit, this was complete contrast

We dined on Mothers day the 31st March in the Cambridge venue. Despite the fact it was crazily busy the service was excellent the food just the same and with the mothers day set menu the prices were good. Will be going again.

Come here often and usually love it. Tonight bought some relatives for their first visit- shown to table next to a wall at back of restaurant (despite asking for window / front table if possible) then left for 20mins without any service. So embarrassing as I’d told them all how great this place was. The front of house lady was abrupt and rude unlike previous staff I’ve known (she accused us of not requesting window and later actually bothered to read the request and apologised). Usually love this place it’s my go to in Cambridge - often go 2-3 times per month but let down today

Great service and great food, quick service and a friendly server. There was no pressure to finish and be gone - altogether a great night and would happily dine here again.

Great lunch for children and adults. Efficient and friendly service, delicious food. Good for all day dining. Mussels, steak and burgers all hugely enjoyed - washed down with lemonade and French75’s for the adults! Highly recommended.

Food and drinks were fabulous as always . Service was prompt but main course was served before bread was ready. We were also charged for complimentary drinks unfortunately.

Cote is once again proving to be my favourite restaurant in Cambridge. The quality of the food last evening was astoundingly good, the highlight being the cherries served with the duck breast. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful -nothing is too much bother for them.

Good as usual! We are regular customers and just love our favourites: calamari Fritti, steak frites, mousse au chocolat, and the free fresh water. We can always rely on the food and also the service.

We always have a great time at Cote Cambridge, with its variety of delicious food and welcoming, accommodating staff. It’s lovely how it’s atmosphere changes according to the time of day: buzzy brasserie at lunchtime to darker, candlelight romantic dinner venue. The Manager, Monika, is fantastic at her job.

My family always enjoys a meal at Côte Brasserie. There is a good choice of menus and dishes and the cuisine and service are good. Also the mosphere in the restaurant is relaxing and friendly.

A warm welcome and fantastic gluten free menu for my husband. Food was excellent quality and service was attentive without being overbearing. Great wine list. We will return.

I can never fault this restaurant - from the very friendly, efficient and attentive staff to the beautifully presented food, this place never disappoints. We went with our friends today for my birthday and received a complimentary glass of kir royale all round. They were very impressed with our meals and I'm sure will be back. The calamari was crisp and delicious and if I have one criticism, it's that the portion was too big! The pork rillettes and onion soup were much enjoyed too. Our mains of Breton chicken, salmon and pork tenderloin were all perfect. The deserts are always top notch! Another lunch that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Fabulous time we went for birthday celebrations and the waiter was brilliant we had free drink and a candle on the desert :-) , fantastic meal and we will definately be dining here again
