Fantastic food, good service. I would of liked another drink but by the time I got someone's attention the meal was over and no longer required the drink. Would definitely return.
All good breakfast excellent. A few hooks in the room would be helpful. Air conditioning and heating hard to control. All staff very pleasant. Excellent location. Would stay again.
Quality food and excellent service. The "free" bottle of Cote de Rhine was pleasantly surprising. Been in 3 Cote restaurants in last 3 weeks and they have all been a good experience.
Excellent value of lunchtime special with all three of us enjoying particularly tasty starters and main courses. The desserts don't change of course and are always reliable. Staff always relaxed, pleasant and attentive.

The service was good, and the food was fabulous. My guests were satisfied with the restaurant. I think the service fee 12.5%, charged as part of the bill, was a bit high and it should be voluntary.
As ever, excellent 10/10 service and knowledge of staff. Wine - excellent. Members of dining party report the steak was "not up to usual côté standards" And The "Fish portion was on the small side". But I was PERFECTLY happy and had the best evening I'd had in a while!
Overall an enjoyable evening. Food was good my scallops a little over cooked though. Staff made you feel welcome. The service was very good too.
Went at a less busy Monday lunchtime. Able to chose our table and we were not rushed to make our decisions from the very reasonably priced lunch menu. The atmosphere was relaxed and the food was lovely. The hardest decision was choosing between the amazing chocolate pots and the scrummy peach crumble.
We had a really lovely meal at Cote Braissaire last week. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome
The food was tasty, the service good and very quick. We ate very early (pre-theatre), so the restaurant was quiet. The staff were friendly & helpful. Extensive gluten free menu.
Very good food and service. Enjoyed our evening. Very well prepared meat but the vegetables were plain and not very innovative or decorative. Upgrading of acoustic regulation would be appreciated when the restaurant is busy with many customers.
Excellent !!! as usual, we booked online and enjoyed the complimentary Red Wine. Steak 1st night Chicken 2nd night all cooked to perfection. Just waiting for AIM Listing to buy some shares !
This used to be a regular place for us to eat until it went downhill. We returned on Sunday and I'm pleased to say Cote was back up there again. A lovely meal with excellent service. Well done Cote for pulling it back.
Food was entirely adequate, but service very slow, despite our having mentioned that we were going to the theatre, and choosing from the pre-theatre menu. They had sold out of both the main courses we'd ordered, which the waiter didn't know when we made the order, and he took about a quarter of an hour to come back and tell us; we hadn't ordered first courses, so assumed our food was on its way. Once we'd finished our main courses it took some while to attract the attention of a waiter (we counted four at once who didn't seem to be doing anything; the restaurant was not especially busy at this point) to bring us a dessert menu (had we not been on the two-course special menu, I suspect we wouldn't have bothered, as time was running short by this point), and we checked which of the choices would be quickest to prepare, before making our order. The desserts did arrive quickly enough, but the (different) waiter who brought them made a somewhat sarcastic comment about the speed with which we'd been served; however, he did not bring the bill, which we'd asked for at the same time as we ordered dessert, so had to be asked for this twice. Even then, I had to resort to waving my arm in the air with a credit card in it in order for someone to come and take payment; it would have been easy enough to leave without paying, I suspect, given the level of attention we received from the staff. I had booked at Côte because it is a chain, and I expected they would be well geared to providing a swift service to people going on to the theatre or to concerts (the food is perfectly nice, but it is hardly an eating destination); it was a pretty dire failure in this regard, and to be snide to one's customers when they ask for something quickly is very poor.
Very good service by cheerful staff. Steaks were well cooked to order . Pleasant surroundings in a very popular setting (Cambridge ) .Highly recommended .
The food was gorgeous. We had the pre theatre menu and found it excellent value. We had very attentive service too. The only down side was the difficult stairs to the tiny, but very well kept, toilets. Will definitely visit again.
this is an excellent restaurant. The food is reliably good. The service is polite and pleasant. We use it regularly when we are having family parties or visits from friends. Also the prices are modest for the excellent cuisine
Excellent service as always from the team in Cambridge. Tasty food in a relaxing environment, coupled with an attentive team. 2 x Gluten Free diners out of a table of 5 and the whole meal was managed efficiently and with ease.
Fantastic evening fantastic food. Great atmosphere and lovely waiters. Never had a bad experience at Cote. Very friendly. I would definitely recommend an evening at Cote to friends.
Excellent and attentive service and the food just hit the spot as an early meal before a lecture in a Cambridge college. Will visit again.
Usually very good but the mains were very slow to come today and one of the meals was cold and had to be sent back.
Delicious food with good service & good atmosphere. We always have a great time here - made better by the friendly helpful staff - in particular the restaurant manager Monica.
Although the restaurant was quite busy with many tables occupied we had booked and were given a good seat at the window. Service was attentive, food was good and price was very competitive.
Cannot fault choice of food, service or dining experience. Attention to detail fantastic. Children were catered for and well looked after. Would go anywhere else in Cambridge.
The food and atmosphere is always good and so we return often. It was lovely of the staff to arrange for two massive balloons for my friend's 70th. A fantastic surprise and she loved it. Thank you very much indeed to the very generous and attentive team in Cambridge. Won't be long until we come back!
Good food and good service. I went there on Easter Saturday with family as my niece and her boyfriend were over from the States. We all enjoyed the evening and will go again.
Very tasty breakfast and good value for money. We went for the Formule with hot breakfast, hot drink & juice for £10. Friendly service too.
Lovely meal for 4. Didn't wait long for ordering or food to arrive even though it was a busy Saturday night. Food was gorgeous, but wish there were more mussels! Will definitely go back again.
An excellent meal with excellent service. The Cote Spring menu is creative and the food is prepared to standards that are much higher than other chain restaurants such as Jamie Oliver. I can recommend the scallops and the sea bass on the new Spring specials menu. The restaurant is attractive and well located in the historic centre of Cambridge. Service is friendly but also professional.
Excellent on all counts . Going back very soon this week ! Always sure that I can take a guest with confidence that it will be a success !
Cote continues to serve Consistently good food. Efficient and friendly staff. The pre theatre menu is good value for money. Recommend this place to everyone
Lovely location with views of the passing people adding to the relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service which was friendly, fast and unobtrusive. Food tasted fantastic, very French and reasonably priced. It was my wife's birthday and she had a meal to remember. Will definitely be going back - again and again!
Friendly service with good quality food at a reasonable price. Having been here a number of times I have no problem with recommending this restaurant to anyone. It also pays to join their loyalty club.
We always enjoy eating at Cambridge Cote. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is excellent and great value and always consistently good. Highly recommended as a lovely place to have great food with family or friends and watch the world go by.
The service was attentive and we were made to feel very welcome. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant provides a relaxed environment for a delicious meal with friends.
Good table and service and consistently good food and good value for the quality offered. Escalope de veau was excellent, as was the duck and this was followed by their "special" crepe chantilly (with strawberries), which was a tasteful way to finish the meal. Only minor complaint was that the side of french beans was undercooked.
Cote is a very well located restaurant with excellent service. A great place to have breakfast or brunch before heading for the punts or sights of Cambridge. Dinner is excellent too; the menu and cooking are so very much ahead of any other chain restaurants. Highly recommended.
The food was good and was served well. The restaurant had a great atmosphere. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive staff. I am sure I shall return.
Always reliable brasserie-style restaurant - great food, excellent prompt service even though the restaurant was very large and very busy, and very lively atmosphere and all for a reasonable price.
Courteous and friendly service and three well-cooked, well-presented, tasty courses, all at a very competitive price. It's hard to beat on any level and easy to recommend.
Excellent food and service for my party of 5. Well done Cote Cambridge. You exceeded our expectations. We will most certainly bemail paying you another visit soon.
The overall experience was let down by poorly trained waiting staff. We ordered bread and olives and had barely started eating them when our main course arrived, likewise the bottle of wine was bought to our table and poured into glasses before we had finished drinking our aperitif drinks. The whole time we felt rushed.

Always enjoy visiting Cote in Cambridge, it offers consistently good & friendly service with great food. Always like to take advantage of then special lunch/pre theatre menu as it is such good value.
Good food attentative staff, nice location, friendly atmosphere all round good place. Nice celebratory menu with decent size decent portions, will be back in October.
Lovely service, nice waiting staff. Who were very helpful. Food not quite as nice as in their restaurant in Clifton, Bristol . I will visit again.
Nice food, service was fine. The starter and mains were all excellent but the desserts ranged from poor to underwhelming. Good wine list and overall good value.
Chose the special anniversary menu which was delicious and really good value. Attentive service, not hurried at all and an alcove table made this get together with friends a really special and enjoyable occasion. Would definitely go back.
Food was very good and the waiters extremely pleasant and helpful. Lovely to see a separate menu for vegetarian options, which was what made us choose Cote in the first place.
Lovely as always - extra care and attention regarding our grain-free requirements.
Thoughtful ,intelligent and sympathetic help with seating a group with handicapped praticipants among them . Excellent varied menu in tune with September and a delicious Confit de canard ,rich and rare mellow and a lovely crusty skin . Creme caramel ,as if from a normandy good restaurant . And I forgot to mention the imaginative side dish of Warm ,golden beetroot ,as starter,or side for the duck . All worth the diversion ,or vaut le detour as the French would guide you to a good place with serious attention to a serious subject -FOOD ! A real brasserie . N.
