Food cold, sent it back twice.. eaten at other Cote any all are better than this one. Shame as it was a celebration won't go again

Staff attentive and friendly. Went for 3 course 10 year anniversary menu which included a glass of champagne, very good value for money. Would recommend.

Whilst overall it was good I didn't feel that the management presence was as good as other recent visits to your Cambridge bistro though we still enjoyed a very good meal and it was served very well.

Food good as always - service disappointing - we had to ask for our drinks and 2 of our courses. The meet and greet staff could do more to help their waiter colleagues.

Service was good but food wasn't up to the cote standards. Starter was good however all of our main courses were equally bad from no meat just fat pork belly, raw duck with no seasoning and very dry underseasoned chicken

The staff are always very helpful and attentative and the experience always good. The food is good. There is really nothing more one would want.

The normal good quality food and wine as usual at Cote. The service was, as usual, excellent. Cote never disappoints and is good value for money

Great food, poor, poor service. Waited almost 30 minutes for everything. Had to chase up or go to the counter to remind. Am very dissatisfied.

Lovely meal, served quickly and efficiently as always with very good service. Window seat to watch the world go by is always good. Favourite place to eat in Cambridge.

We had the set menu which was very affordable.The waiting staff were very attentive. The food was delicious and reminded us of our French holidays. The restaurant was full but the staff still made time for us.

Good food, always great to have gluten free properly catered for, but for the first time ever the service wasn't really as we've come to expect. Hopefully this was an off day.

My duck came late as it wasn't put through but there was no money taken off or anything even though everyone had eaten before mine even came ?

The food was very good, the service was not to bad, but the redwine was to warm. And the restaurant should inform guests from abroad that sides have to be ordered separately. Anyway, we had a good time.

We had lunch from the set menu while enjoying a day out in Cambridge. The hop-on-hop-off sightseeing bus stops conveniently close by. The food, as ever with Cote was all delicious; Provencal Pissaladiere, Frisee aux Lardons, Poulet Grille, Roast Pork Belly, Peche Crumble and Chocolate Pot. Excellent, efficient, friendly service from Lily and other staff. I'd had an email offering complimentary Kir Royales for my birthday but could not find it in my Inbox. Lily was incredibly helpful and patient and served the drinks anyway, while I struggled with poor reception until I eventually found the message and produced the necessary code.

Not the usual mid week super value offered by Cote but nevertheless we were made very welcome by very attentive staff, a good place to go for a leisurely three generation family Sunday lunch!

Lovely restaurant in a great location close to some nice riverside bars. On arrival we were greeted quickly by friendly staff who took us to our table. For our mains we ordered two steaks. When they came out they were quite over cooked. When the waitress came over she seemed to be unhappy with them before we mentioned it. They were replaced with fresh meals which were perfect and they even took our drinks off the bill as compensation. They handled the situation excellently and I would not hesitate to go back.

It's my favorite place to eat, great service, good food and wonderful friendly staff. Great ambiance too and they all know their job and do it brilliantly. Thank you Cote.

Booked on Internet. Turned up slightly early but seated in waiting area with menu. Soon shown to our table. All staff were very vigilant and obliging. We both enjoyed the delicious food on offer. A very pleasant experience. Thank you.

The service is consistently fabulous, the food good value, especially the set menu before 7pm and the setting is lovely. Cote is an all round lovely dining experience. Your staff recruitment is utterly impressive, they always make you feel so special. You really do get it right.

Despite being very busy service was good and the food was also of an acceptable standard. Will probably try other restaurants in the group more local to where I live.

Pleasant surroundings and good atmosphere. Food very good and the service was, as always, extremely good and attentive. Tables were rather too small for two people.

Delicious food. Modest portions. Attentive but unobtrusive staff. Every time I go to Cote I choose to eat something different but the standard is consistently high. You can rely on getting a tasty, satisfying meal.

Very friendly staff and good service....only criticism was soggy fat on the pork belly. Otherwise enjoyable experience. Very hot day but air conditioning did its job.

Excellent and, as always, the staff are extremely efficient, helpful and attentive; also, unusually for this day and age, recall your previous visits and greet you in a welcoming way.

A good meal, and made better with the benefit of a free drink and starter voucher. One starter was delayed, but staff did all the right things to minimise concern.

We enjoyed a delicious and excellent meal at Côte Brasserie, Cambridge. There was a good choice of different types of food, all beautifully cooked and presented, and the service was impeccable. It couldn't have been better, we're so glad we chose to go to this restaurant.

Busy Friday lunchtime, but the staff take it in their stride with their usual cheery welcome and service. The food from the set menu arrived in reasonable time and was up to Cote's high standards.

Excellent as always. Staff charming and service very good even at a busy lunch time. Duck confit with pommes sarladaise is as good as one could make it at home. The creme caramel is superb.

Unfaultable. I have been to this Cotë on a number of occasions and never has it disappointed me. Excellent food, fantastic staff and beautiful location.

A reasonable meal that could have been better. Starters quite good with prawn gratinee very tasty. Steak frites main course OK but Pork Belly was too sloppy with skin lacking any sort of crispness. Service just OK could have been more attentive and more friendly. With wine a bill of £80 for two seemed a bit top side for the quality of the food on offer. Would still go back to another Cote however.

Attentive staff. Happy to delay starters so we could chat. Did not rush us during the meal. Extensive gluten free menu. Good service and good food.

Lovely food , we choose to celebrate our Anniversary and very satisfied with the service .All staff very friendly and profesional , amazing food and good selection of wines.

We went on a Friday and my wife had the 2 courses for £10.95. I have Coeliac disease and since none of the items on the specials was identified as Gluten Free I had to stick to the A la Carte menu. This is something i suspect could be readily corrected with an flag beside the course saying "GF option"

The food and service at Cote Cambridge has always been very good if not excellent. However on this occasion, lunch-time Saturday 15th July, the food was a big disappointment. We had a table for four. The fish soup, which I have had before and loved, was served luke warm, was cold half way through eating, and lacked any depth. The tuna carpaccio was over seared and too thickly sliced. Our mains - 3 cod wrapped in ham - all overcooked, the fourth main -duck breast was flavourless and tough, the fat had not been rendered and was therefore inedible. At no time did a waiter or other member of staff come to our table to ask how our food was. A big disappointment on this occasion!

Great restaurant with good food and excellent service in the heart of Cambridge. Definitely will be returning when I am next in Cambridge and happy to recommend this to friends.

Food was lovely, but the service let it down big time. We had to ask after waiting over half an hour from finishing the main course, for the waiter to clear the table. He had forgotten about us and no apology!!!

Lovely food, reasonably priced, friendly service and a complimentary drink for the people in our party celebrating their birthdays. Will definitely make a return visit. The loos were spotlessly clean too!

Having dined @ Cote a few years ago with visitors from Singapore, I knew it would be one of the best restaurant to take my visitors from San Francisco & Malaysia. There was a good choice of dishes from both the fixed price & a la carter menu. Every plate/board arrived with visually pleasant offerings from the kitchen. Truly appreciate the efforts made & also, the service was impeccable. Every need was attended to including the typical 'can you take a group photo please?'. Will return on my next visit to Cambridge. Meanwhile. I will explore other branches when I am on business in other parts of UK.

Long wait for empty table to be cleaned before we could be seated, then slow to take order. Fillet steak was cooked as requested and was very good.

The food was nice. The staff in there do not seem to speak English very well. They hardly understood what I was telling them. Reasonable price.

As always, excellent service by the front of house staff. For some reason the food was not quite as tasty as before - possibly my own taste buds that evening. The restaurant WAS incredibly busy and I did wonder whether the kitchen was a little overwhelmed and not able to give its usual very careful attention to each dish.

Great Place & Friendly Welcoming Team! Busy Graduation Day so understandable that Plates were not hot enough. Much appreciated my desert was FOC after pointing this out. We are always be assured a Great Meal at Cote B!!
