Busy but excellent service and food. Good atmosphere . Been to various Cores and the Cambridge one is consistently good. Mind you it was 6pm. Only slight gripe is was upstairs via a very steep staircase.

This was the annual dinner gathering of the six volunteers in the team I lead as Editor, Cambridge Talking News. We have been delighted to return to Cote Cambridge for the third (pre-)Christmas running. Service was swift, cheerful and generally efficient.

Always friendly no rushing and good food at a reasonable price. Will go again as ther3 are s3veral dishes I would try in the fixed price lunch menu

Good food and excellent services, as always. The chicken breast with puy lentils was delicious, as was the apple crumble. We are coming back next week!

seven ladies lunched and there was not one complaint other than we had eaten too much and put pounds on. Absolutely delicious, we will be coming again!

I ordered the ribeye steak, It was not a good cut of meat. There was an enormous central area of grizzle, and it took a long time to dissect off meat that could be chewed. Even then it was hard going. The rest of the meal was fine. French onion soup recommended, and way better than the one I had in France the following day!

We have once again enjoyed a good quality meal that was well presented and served by friendly and professional staff promptly but not hurried and we feel it was good value for money.

Great staff as usual good service but this time the food could have been a lot hotter, still had a good time there and enjoyed the visit.

Very slow and poor service throughout. Lunch took three hours which was as fast as we could go at the pace the food was served

We had booked a table for 2 at 12:30PM at Cote Cambridge knowing it would be busy Sunday 3 December. Walk-in customer queue was forming & waiting, but within 2-3 min an efficient hostess learned we had booked, and in another minute we were seated. We had polite, discreet and efficient service, enjoyed a lovely luncheon of a refreshing endive/walnut/gorgonzola salad & broiled salmon with green veg, new potatoes followed by coffee. Noise level a little higher than we prefer (or would rank 6) due to busy hour, some noisy children & bouncy acoustics, but only a little music playing in the background (though that may have come from a diner eating alone listening through headphones!)

Cote Cambridge a great evening with excellent food and great service. The restaurant is clean and well presented. A warm welcome from the staff as you enter.

We enjoyed the excellent and very gracious service. The food was delicious. Although the restaurant was very busy there was a relaxed, happy atmosphere. The meals was very good value for money.

Lovely meal and great service. I would recommend the steak frite and chocolate fondant, both were very delicious. My partner thought the french onion soup was the nicest he'd ever had.

The restaurant had a good ambience and the food was very good at a reasonable price. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Will definitely go back in the future.

We booked and were shown quickly to our table. We ate off the set menu. Good food, good price good service and as usual the chocolate pots were amazing.

we booked online and were seated as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious and the service was polite and unobtrusive. Slightly expensive for the food so rated 5.

Very good place to eat French food. Excellent. I would definitely go back again. The beef bourgouinon as well as the onion soup were superb.

Meal from the A La Carte menu on a busy Saturday evening. Meals arrived quickly and well cooked; staff efficient, friendly and helpful as usual.

Rude waiters , I asked due to having an intolerance to wheat if there was any thing they could do to supstitute a particular meal that I was interested in having and got no help and was just totally rude

Very attentive and helpful staff without being intrusive, excellent food with generous but not overlarge portions, very lively atmosphere (though quite noisy in echoey room). Only criticism was tables are too small to accommodate all plates, glasses, bottles, baskets comfortably - kept having to move things around taking care not to knock things off the table.

Unfortunately we won't be returning to Cotes, due to a couple of reasons. Our table was not ready on arrival,(empty but not laid), despite arriving on time. My husbands starter was missing the relish and while the waitress did bring some on the side once we raised this, she also urged with my husband that it wasn't meant for this dish (despite being printed on the Christmas menu still on our table, with it listed). I had to get the Waiters attention twice to order more drinks. My Tuna salad was poor at best; drowned in dressing and only 1 new potato. My friends Beef was dry and tough and best of all - we all were up in the night with upset stomachs. Likely the olives which we all had to start?

We had great time . Everything was impacable the food , wine and location of our table ! We had creamy cod , Breton chicken and cream Caramel for dessert

As good as ever, only slight quibble was spinach like warm and main dish seriously hot which meant duck was a little over. Excellent service.

Great service and great food. Not a 6 simply because the food was not as hot as we'd have liked (cold plates). We will be returning soon.

Once again, perfect greeting, service and food. This time went for the set menu, wonderul value and thr Hake main was stunning. Cote' never fail to deliver a tasty meal. Thank you everyone.

Although on time our table had been given to someone who said they were us!! We were standing for about five minutes which was Ok I guess but not ideal. We were then put at a table next to a noisy group. Food excellent but ocassion spoilt by the above.

Great location, great food, great service. A really fantastic lunch. We wanted a slow, relaxed lunch, and they left us alone, and were very gracious.

Cote Cambridge is always such a lovely dining experience. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and obliging and the food is always delicious, never expensive.

Not nearly as good as it used to be. Service was slow it used to be very quick. My husband had duck breast which came lukewarm. He ordered a side of creamed Spinach which came absolutely cold it had not even been heated. When we complained they took the remainder away and it came back steaming but the remaining cold spinach was still on the plate. At least they did not charge for it and gave us complimentary deserts.

All good! Service, food and atmosphere as expected from Cote in Cambridge. Front of house and waiter were attentive and food was great value. Happy to visit again.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good selection of gluten free options. You can easily make changes to your order if needed. Very nice food and nice atmosphere.

Fantastic food & fantastic service every time. We have your breakfast once a month and this time we came for lunch with old school friends , we all had a wonderful time and didn’t feel rushed. Thank you 😁

We went for a 1130 breakfast.Everything was cooked superbly and the service was excellent.We will do this again when we go shopping in Cambridge. Made a really nice day out.

There was a friendly welcome, followed by good food and quick service. One of our favourite places for brunch, and we weren’t disappointed today, either.

Excellent food, service and lovely ambience. The only criticism I would have is that the plates, of my companions, which some orders came on had not been warmed and consequently rested meat was not really hot enough.

Nothing to falt- good wine, good food, good service - a lovely ambiance. Simple, classic, French - lovely, thankyou! But beware the stairs to the loos are a bit tricky after a Fri k or two.....

Great food at sensible prices, lovely atmosphere and friendly but not over-bearing service. We had the three-course early evening menu for £13.50 and all three courses were delicious. Friday evening visit so it was getting busy by the time we finished our meal but even so, the spacing of the tables meant that it was not too noisy and we could catch up properly. Highly recommended, will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

Great food as usual. Staff absolutely lovely. No rush at all and we were left to choose and chat at leisure so thank you Cambridge Cote Brasserie.

Tasty fayre -excellent moulles and frites!-for a chilly autumnal November lunch. Attentive but not obtrusive service and a nice buzz. This spot has not disappointed yet!

We had the £34.95 festive menu and it was superb. The staff were very polite and friendly. We has a lovely time there at Cote Cambridge.

Very stylish restaurant and fabulous food and wine. Our second visit so we will return. Excellent service too. Window seat to admire the stunning view.

Great service, I hadn’t seen my friend in months and we had a lot to catch up on so we took ages to order but at no point did we feel rushed! The service was excellent. We both had the eggs royale and they were perfectly done. Will definitely be back!

Enjoyed a delicious extended lunch with husband and 4 friends. Friendly staff, excellent service and top-class food at good price. Can't wait to go again!
