Food was really good and piping hot, with decent size portions of everything. It would have been a top score but service was a bit slow - had to wait ages for anyone to appear to ask re drinks (so long we were ready to order food too) and at the end took about 10 minutes to get anyone's attention to bring us the bill.

Good menu....we were a large group so covered a fair bit of the menu. Tuna a little overcooked but everything else great. Service attentive but not overly so. Will go back.

Booked specific table but disappointed not available. This was the second time. That said food was good. In future won’t bother specifying requirements as it’s not worth it.

The staff were very polite and attentive, the food was exceptional. I strongly recommend the Crepes the Orange tasted fresh squeezed, overall an excellent Breakfast Experience

Nice meal, prompt efficient service. Quiet time as we had the pre-theatre menu offer before going to Cambridge Arts theatre. Good choice of dishes, but note the mains dont always come with a salad or vegetable side, which has to be ordered separately.

Would have given it a higher rating but a service charge had been added to my bill without me realising until after I had paid

The food and service was excellent. Sadly we found it far too noisy. A waitress kindly moved us away from the noisy coffee making area but the only alternative table had a music speaker above our heads so still we couldn't chat easily which was a shame as we hadn't seen our guest for over a year and wanted to catch up.

Such a lovely restaurant, great service and amazing food. I went there for breakfast for my birthday and I would highly recommend it. Definitely worth going for a birthday treat.

The food was good (as it almost invariably is) and the service was courteous, however the order took a very long time to arrive despite other nearby diners who had arrived later than us being served well before us, and apparently with similar menu choices. That said, apologies were made.

The food was up to standard but given that we are regulars and that we had requested a good table for our daughters family 18th birthday celebration, we were disappointed to be given a table right at the back of the room where the acoustics were terrible and my 80 year old mother could not follow the conversation. I had requested a table for the event near the front or in the window which is where we always ask to be seated at this restaurant, where we have sfpent thousands. The rear of the restaurant is much louder, darker and stuffier. We were also seated on two bench seats rather than individual chairs which made it very hard for anyone to get up without everyone else having to move. Not impressed, because this was an important occasion.

The staff were spot on, worked well together and made the evening (a late dinner) very enjoyable. We were last out but were never rushed. Thanks

Very good food, especially steak when it is ordered medium rare. They have absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Waiters are nice and very helpful. Overall very good.

The restaurant has a really buzzy, lively atmosphere, but it's not too noisy. The food was excellent and so was the service. A great night out.

The attention from the personal was very good, the meal good, the desserts regulars but the breakfast excelente. When one caffe came could they change. The best the ambience.

We felt majorly ripped off when we were told that the 'Formule' menu option (any cooked breakfast plus juice and a hot drink) was only valid when specifically asking for that at time of ordering, despite us ordering 3 cooked breakfasts, juices and hot drinks individually. We felt that putting that option on the menu was a scam and a way to simply make us pay more than we had too. A real shame as the food was good.

We had a really enjoyable evening: the food was delicious and served in a timely fashion, despite the place being full. Our waitress was friendly and efficient.

We love the food at Côte. It's quality ingredients beautifully cooked. Any mistake is swiftly and professionally dealt with. Service is efficient. Management on the floor is very competent. Staff overall seem happy and looked after. Côte has firmly become a family favourite.

As a Coeliac I always feel safe at Cote knowing they understand about providing gluten free food and having a separate menu is very helpful for people like me.

We had a fabulous lunch! The food was superb (how special are those baguettes??!!), and the if we closed our eyes we could almost have been in Paris. The big difference from Paris was the Cote waiters were friendly, helpful, and polite as well as being professional! Bravo Cote!!!

As great as ever. Excellent fresh food and professional service. Cote is the best restaurant. Very nice atmosphere always. They change the menus according to seasonal foods available.

Food was lovely. The service was friendly. We were not told about a starter that wasn't available until we ordered it. Then five minutes later we were told the starter we'd chosen was off and the original was on! The olives didn't arrive until we reminded them and the same happened with a side dish for the main!

Really nice lunch here yesterday, excellent service as always and food lovely. We had a table by the window and it was lovely pm a very cold day to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a lovely meal.

Absolutely delicious food and attentive service - very tolerant of our having to change both group size and arrival time, owing to weather and transport problems.

Great brunch. We ordered veg breakfast, french toast and yogurt and granola. The french toast was the perfect balance of sweet and salt and the veg breakfast was very light and tasty. We got a pork sausage instead of the veg sausage though.

Good tasting food and generous portions. Service good and swift. Not a place if you want to linger over your meal. Sides are pricey for a cup full of peas and 5 carrots. Should be part of the meal really in my opinion.

It is a lovely restaurant in my favourite place. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and helpful, and well worth a visit. I am looking forward to my next visit!

We had excellent food, great service; they were flexible with our menu alterations and there are great gluten free options! Mother, two kids and dad all had a great time.

Consistently good value for money when you eat from the Pre Theatre menu. Good range of choices on all three courses. Staff very good...attentive but not obtrusive.

Good food reasonably priced good, friendly service. The Breton Fish Stew is always great. Profiteroles were lovely but there was rather a lot of them.

Cote continues to be excellent value for money. The quality of food is consistently very good coupled with good service. A winning combination. Highly recommend.

It was a mother day and it was so busy all the times

Food, service and atmosphere all very good. It was a very busy Mother’s Day lunchtime but we didn’t feel rushed and the buzz in the restaurant was good.

Lovely service and delicious food that is excellent value for money, especially the Set Menu. The menu changes each month which is great if you are a regular visitor, which my husband and I both are.

We all enjoyed our meals here it’s a fair price and nice tasty food .My daughter enjoyed her fish stew .The service was fine and the environment quite elegant for a chain restaurant. Would recommend . They do a fair price set menu.

Ate at Cote Cambridge this afternoon and can't fault the food or the service - one observation however - we were sat within view of the Disabled Toilet which on several occasions we saw staff diverting customers from using, directing them to the upstairs toilets (which were up a very steep set of stairs) and yet during that time I saw at least three members of staff use the Disabled facility!! If you're going to divert customers from using the Disabled Toilet (as you should) then staff should also avoid using it surely?

We had Great food and we recieved great service that made it just a wonderful Mothers day that we all really enjoyed. This has to be one of the best restaurants in Cambridge

Perfect service, they are organised, friendly and provide amazing service. We had dishes from across the range and they were all very tasty, fresh and delicious.
