Good service - food and drink order taken quickly. Food came in a timely way and was as ordered. We enjoyed the food which was up to your usual standards. We find the ambience of the restaurant pleasant and relaxing. Small area for improvement - plates could have been cleared and we could have been offered the desert menu slightly more quickly but not a major issue.
Excellent service throughout the evening. We ate the cod and the veal, neither was very exciting. However the Pain Perdu dessert was absolutely delightful. Skip dinner and order three of these!!
Excellent food and service would definitely recommend and hope to return soon. Staff well trained polite and knowledgeable .Made an effort for my daughters birthday, thank you.
Enjoy the COTE food and the 2/3 course menu. Staff excellent and the Manageress in particular was attentive to our needs and with a very pleasant personality. We live 50 miles from Cambridge so will not be frequent visitors here but will book when we make next visit. Have eaten at our more local COTE restaurants e.g. Amersham, Eton , St. Albans and standards have always been high.
The service was first class, the food excellent and the evening was great value for money. Three courses for four people with wine, coffee and drinks £166 and that include the added service charge (that was worth every penny). Great evening
Good service, friendly staff and excellent meal - what's not to like! I would recommend reserving a table though as it gets quite busy especially at weekends.
Great service, friendly staff, good value. If you have the pre-theatre menu, 3 courses for less than £14. Works even on Fridays. Recommended for all.
Very nice restaurant and good service in your restaurant. Thank you
Friendly staff. Food sound if not exceptional - fresh, hot etc and very good value for money. £15 for two course and a glass of wine is a bargain.
Good food, reasonably priced with friendly and efficient service. We enjoyed the meal and occasion very much and would certainly return to eat there again.
Good food, good service, tables not too close together. Will certainly be returning gain and again. An ideal place for an informal lunch with friends.
Restaurant was too busy and understaffed and therefore processes failed. Mushroom feuilette had one thin sliver of mushroom which made the dish a rather expensive puff pastry. The menu for Cod Supreme mentions fine herbs but is silent on the chilli. The chilli made the dish far too fiery to enjoy. The veal escalope had been left on the pass so the jus had dried on the plate and the bread crumbs were unpleasantly greasy. Cote usually does much better than this and we hope it can manage the numbers better in the future.
Good food with a french twist, value for money! Kalamaris and fish stew was very good, and so was the wine! Book a table, it’s very popular.
Consistently good! Service staff are always friendly and helpful and food is to a high standard. The pre-theatre menu is particularly good value and provides a good variety to regular diners.
We arrived slightly early but there was no problem with seating us straightaway, with a free choice of tables. The food was delicious, and we were left in peace to talk until we were ready to leave. Lovely and relaxed.
We had a great table and the food was delicious. My other half loved the seafood stew. Service was also good. Can’t fault the evening. Will definitely come back.
Super food, great staff! Food came out quickly. Tasted amazing! Attentive waitress at a busy time. Lovely wine and very reasonably priced. Cannot fault! 10/10!
Party of six, nice atmosphere, food was excellent, staff were friendly and totally professional and the prices were reasonable... had a great night thank you
Very good service and food well prepared and good to eat. Pleasant environment and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch which had a variety of offers and menus.

Had lunch here with daughter and her family including 3 children. Good family experience, children very happy with tailor made options on the hamburger theme, adults with their generous main courses. Only quibble: why no dairy free desserts (except ubiquitous sorbets)? Service friendly and competent. Food tasty and reliable, if not particularly innovative. Charming surroundings.
The food was really tasty and there were great menu options, even for the children. The service was great and we were very happy with our experience overall.
Super food and special attention from the waiter for my special birthday. Thank you! Although you were very busy this evening we didn’t feel rushed or that we had to vacate the table. As always, the vegetarian options were delicious and creative.
We had a lovely table by the window. There were plenty of options on the Gluten free menu and vegetarian menu and the food was delicious and well presented. It was busy as it was a sunny Saturday lunch time but the staff were attentive and friendly. I would definitely go there again.
It was great. Good menu choice, lovely staff, nice wine - plenty of other customers but not noisy and as usual in Cambridge good people watching - what more could you ask for?
Very pleasant. Lovely food and excellent value for 3 courses. Service was very professional but a bit slow (it is the Easter holidays, so to be expected); we waited a good 20 minutes for desert which almost made us late for a talk we were attending. However, the server did apologise and desert was lovely! Would definitely book again, thankyou.
Food delicious as always, and the service quick and friendly. Though there was a shift change just before we wanted to get and pay the bill, and that took too long. Still, that's minor, and I will happily keep going back!
Food was nice but service was incredibly slow. Not sure if it was the staff’s fault or it was just understaffed but either way everything took too long.
Really nice food, service was fast. The set menu is really good value
Remains a firm favourite within our family for over a decade now and still never fails to disappoint. Always great service & great food. Super local Brasserie!

Met a friend here for lunch and we had the set menu. This is very good value and the good was also good. Staff polite.
A very cold April day, we were queuing in the doorway, when this senior very rude woman pushed past, thought she was better than us just barged in wanting a table. The gentleman dealing with customers had no idea she had done this. She was promptly given a table where she wanted to sit. This we found irritating as there was possibly 10 people queuing. She chose to be rude. The food and service was very good, thank you chefs.
Pleasant welcome to the restaurant and a good lunch and bottle of wine. The set menu is good value though topped up with a 12.5% service charge
Excellent food charcuterie especially good. The service was attentive but not too much "sales talk"good atmosphere plenty of choice and value for money will visit again
Had a great time. Excellent food, attentive service and fantastic value for money. The restaurant has a well thought through layout, maximising privacy for all the guests
We were given a perfect location in the restaurant in a separate area on an oval shape table which was ideal for 8 friends to chat together with everyone included. The staff were attentive, efficient and we all enjoyed our meals; well, I didn't hear any complaints from the others and it seemed we were all enjoying both the food and the ambience. I certainly did.
Very nice choice of lunch menu French style with a modern twist. We had 2 courses and none of was left hungry enough to go for dessert. Staff very helpful and attentive
Lovely food, prompt and professional service - we had an enjoyable meal, everyone was happy with their choices and portion sizes were well balanced. Thank-you.
excellent service ....good table by the window ...good food ... good wine ....and good company ...great place to watch the world go by on a spring evening .
Overall good food and friendly and efficient service. No pressure to rush and vacate table. Good choice on menu and pricing reasonable. Will come again.
The food is excellent and the service is superb. I asked for a table with 2 leather banquette seats and that is what we got. Though we were in a corner we never felt neglected and the food and wine arrived at just the right speed. not too fast or too slow. Most important, the noise levels are acceptable so one can hear what one's fellow-diner is saying.
As usual a warm and friendly welcome, Good service and as always good food. As ready to be of help and ready to make one feel at home and comfortable and to take time
Gorgeous brunch -- everyone had delicious food and a lovely time. The waiting staff was professional and looked after us so well. Thanks very much
Our meal at Cote Brasserie Cambridge was lovely! The lamb loin chops were cooked pink as requested and the ratatouille was fresh, hot and a delicious accompaniment. The chicken wa served with a creamy mushroom sauce and delicate thin fries, all perfect. We enjoyed a bottle of red wine with our lunch, then a complimentary dessert of creme caramel with a glass of dessert wine. A pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in Cambridge while the weather was far from perfect. We have been before and will definitely return.
Delicious food, good service. Great selection on the menu. Brunch, lunch and dinner. Benedict, croque madame, french breakfast, steaks, chicken, fish, great starter and yummy desserts. Usual spent per is around £15-20
I went to Cote for my 28th birthday and had the perfect evening! Lovely restaurant with VERY tasty food and helpful staff :) thanks guys!!
The food was very good and the set menu was a great price. The setting was nice and the staff were friendly. We all had a good time.
Fantastic meal once again, have been here many times over the years and have never had a bad meal. The service is always exceptional on every single visit. Me and my wife also got a complimentary glass of champagne on arrival for the occasion which was a nice touch!
My friends, family and i love Cote and this visit lived up to the standards. We had a lovely starter (I had the salmon, we also had calamari and two prawn starters - all beautifully cooked and presented and all had empty plates!). Two in the party had minute steak from the lunch specials with frites, one the Cote burger and one the sea bass. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. We were two full for any desserts. The non-drivers shared a bottle of white and we all had a Kir Royale on arrival. Would thoroughly recommend Cote to anyone. Wide menu choice and pleasant service. Our waiter was particularly friendly. Definitely would visit again!
Had dinner from the A La Carte menu, good choice, excellent service, all staff were amazing, lovely food and great atmosphere. Good value for money would recommend.
Great food and great customer service :) Our server was so accommodating and dining with kids made it so easy in choosing our main meal.
