Could not fault the food or service for the 4 of us dining. Excellent all round and good atmosphere. Nothing seemed too much trouble when dealing with staff.

Can't fault it! We've been there a few times before and it's always very good. Delicious food and excellent service. Best to book as we always do.

We had a fantastic time at Cote in Cambridge this evening. It is always such a pleasure to eat there, as the welcome is so warm and the food is delicious. It is without a doubt our favourite restaurant in Cambridge. Big thanks to all at Cote for looking after us so beautifully this evening, and we hope to see you soon.

Getting used to Cote now - third different city in three weeks! Menu extensive, food good, service excellent. No signs to toilets, but hardly worth deleting a star for that!

Fantastic food and really reasonably priced. Excellent service too. The restaurant was busy which added to the atmosphere, making the whole experience was really enjoyable.

Very good food and the waiting staff were very good would definitely go Back and the decor is just amazing with the sliding windows in the summer are perfect

Service was adequate as the Resaurant was busy. Out table was cramped too close to the next table. Food was ok. Steak tasted burnt even though it was rare

Excellent service, quality food and good value for money. We have eaten out at several Cote Brasseries restaurants and they have never let us down.

Pleasant staff, food excellent . Left to relax in between courses so did not feel rushed. Good choice of wines and set menu reasonably priced.

We had a lovely meal. We were quite a big group and the service was excellent. Delicious food, as always. Côte never disappoints. Can’t wait to be back.

fairly quick service and nice fresh food, good range of wines and comfortably cool in hot weather. some vegetarian options too. would recommend it to others.

Good service etc but did a couple of things wtong. Steak cooked wrong at first attempt and object to service charge. Think customer should choose to tip or not

The new menu is absolutely fab as always and the pre theatre menu was great.

Attentive staff and enjoyable food. The occasion was our friend's birthday which we only mentioned on arrival. So impressed when our lovely waiter brought our wine and an extra "present" of kir royale for our friend.

Good menu, lovely staff and great location especially when it's warm and sunny! I frequently take 'townies' there when fresh air and good food are required!

Be wary of the daily specials that are not prices on the menu and waitress misled us as to price (her English was poor) - 1 piece of veal cost £24! (Served on its own without any veg or additions)

Cote is our usual choice for food when in Cambridge. This time we were disappointed. The staff were, as always, efficient and helpful. The food however was a disappointment. My chicken and walnut salad contained one walnut at most, no avocado and no baby spinach. It consisted of a lot of chicken and baby gem lettuce. The 'warm' chocolate sauce with my dessert was served cold. This will be our last visit to Cote Cambridge.

Pleasant if not always entirely professional service. I had a well executed warm prawn salad, and my companion asparagus with hollandaise sauce, which she liked, but I thought the asparagus rather tasteless. Her main course was grilled salmon, rather greasy, and mine an asparagus risotto, which was very much overcooked, so that the rice had lost its texture and lacked flavour. The wine list is quite good value, and, altogether, for Cambridge, the restaurant is a decent enough place to go, although much less good than one could make for oneself.

Excellent food. Asparagus soup was very tasty. Only downside was a long wait for the dessert which surprised us as it was early evening and the restaurant was not yet busy. However the charge for this was removed from the bill simply because we queried the delay, and that was a very kind action by Cote staff. All in all a lovely meal. Thank you.

Nice atmosphere. Good food and good value. We liked that we could easily speak and listen. No loud music. Well assorted menu, also vegetarian choices.

The staff were fantastic! Good atmosphere. It was not overpriced and there was a good range of choice on the menu. However, the food was average. Would definitely come back.

Brilliant service - I had my birthday brunch there last week! The food was delicious and the staff were all very polite, welcoming, and accommodating. Lovely calm atmosphere.

Helpful staff, quick service and good value for money ! The steak frites was correctly cooked and tasty. Sourdough bread and olives a simple and effective start for a quick lunch.

Fantastic food and great location. Staff are very friendly, although they forgot our starter but they were quick with the main and gave us the starter for free with the main meal.

We had a lovely set lunch, great value, great staff, fresh ingredients, nice experience. Probably the best of the ‘chain’ Restaurants, as they deliver a class act.

Booked online, arrived and taken to seat straight away. Waiter clearly new what he was doing, didn’t rush us, very knowledgable about the menu. Food was great and the overall cost of the experience was very reasonable.

Very nice food, pleasant waitress - but the place was incredibly noisy. Not only were some of the customers very noisy, but the waiters behind the bar kept dropping trays and clattering cutlery!

Good food. Service was a bit slow at times and the restaurant was noisy to start with - as it was mid lunch time, perhaps only to be expected.

As usual it was very good but this time the steak was a bit chewy! Smoked salmon was excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. Always visit Cote if we see one wherever we visit. Please open in North!!

The 'optional' 12.5% tip was added to the card machine when I went to pay. I was not impressed by this because it's optional. I was also asked by 4 people if the meal was ok. We had barely started eating before the first person came over. Breakfast was also a bit cold and the extra sausage we ordered came on a separate plate?!?!

Good service,varied menu,excellent food and wine all round and fairly priced.The Lamb chop dish was particularly good and the Pain Perdue dessert was excellent ,one of the best I've had

Cote in Cambridge has a really good value early evening menu. The staff are always very helpful and it has a nice welcoming atmosphere as soon as you walk in. We always book as it is generally very busy.

Very busy but convivial restaurant. Good food, and friendly service. Reasonable price. Special dessert (pain perdu) especially good, and would recommend the risotto vert for vegetarians.

It was a busy time but service took rather a long time. Although 'frites' was on the menu with the steak I really did not expect thin fries in a restaurant of this quality.

As always, excellent food, service and ambiance! We had the calamari to start with which literally melted in your mouth, followed by the seabass and fennel which was delicious. The Fish Parmentier was also very good so we were very happy with everything and can’t wait to return!

Excellent food and lovely service. One small problem with the food, but this was immediately solved so we really enjoyed our meal. I would have given full marks but I found the room a bit too noisy so it was difficult to have a conversation across the table.

This place is welcoming and cosy, the food was delicious and in nice portions, nice choice of desserts, staff very friendly. That was my birthday dinner and everything went perfect, for sure I’ll come back :)

A well balanced menu served by entertaining staff in pleasant surroundings and with the best company. What more can you ask for on your birthday.

Prompt service from the pre-theatre menu. We had whitebait followed by salmon fishcakes/sea bream. All very good. Wider range of desserts would be nice including healthy options, eg a fruit salad.

Very tasty food and excellent service. The staff were very welcoming and accomodating for a large group. I'd thoroughly recommend Cote and will be back soon myself.
