Tasty food and great service - attentive but not invasive.

We had a lovely meal and our waitress really made sure that our daughter, who was celebrating her birthday, had a great time. Thank you!

We often go to Cote for Breakfast or lunch and are always happy with the service and the food. Have booked again for another birthday - that's the best compliment.

I am pleased to say that the usual high standards of Cote Cambridge were maintained at our lunch for six recently! Perfect, friendly service - when we arrived and throughout - excellent food -both choice and quality - and relaxed atmosphere. This restaurant always has been, and always will be, our favourite in Cambridge.

We had a nice meal at Cote Brasserie, Cambridge last night and were well looked after by Claudia, who was our Waitress for the evening, (She was both pleasant and efficient.) We were a little short of time as we had concert tickets to start directly at 7.30p.m., so opted for the steak frits off the plates rapide menu,(which was excellent,) followed by my all time favourite pudding, chocolate mousse. I love chocolate mousse and have it in every restaurant I go in, but Cote definitely has the best one! The chocolate mousse at the Cote in Cambridge is better than the Cote in London we recently ate in, so I suppose it must be made locally. My husband had crème caramel and said that was very nice too.

The food was lovely, our waiter however, was extremely rude. Barely spoke to us the whole evening, and was extremely miserable which unfortunately ruined the experience on the whole.

Lovely breakfast served by friendly staff. Nice place to sit and look at the world passing by.

We had the prestige menu. Moules for starter was excellent. We had steak from the menu as main course having previously received an email from Cote about the menu with pictures. and the email title was Prestige Menu. We remembered the steak au poivre pictured with cognac pepper sauce etc in the email and thought that was what we were getting. Instead we got a plain bland steak. We think the ad for the prestige menu via email misrepresented the steak on offer. So we were disappointed and this affected our overall enjoyment of the evening.

Very enjoyable as always. I am now a regular diner at this restaurant and have found the service and food (excellent for its reasonable price) to be consistently good. I have no doubt that I shall be returning soon!

Our regular monthly meal. As usual it was very good. Noisy because it is half term and very busy. The haddock special was excellent except there was no spinach. ! The service at this restaurant is second to none. I thoroughly recommend it.

A wonderful, friendly and delicious lunchtime. We were surprised how good the food was and how to come back again. We might even book Christmas here now!

Very good service. I always have steak but its usually more tender. This was disappointing here. The chicken a little too and not as tasty.

Cote always keeps to it's high standards. Our first visit to Cote Cambridge the food was excellent the crab mayonnaise starter is worth a particular mention, lots of taste and texture and not drowned in mayonnaise. The service was attentive but not over the top, busy time but food came with just the right amount of time between courses.

You don't have the bouillabaisse on the menu any more and I am very very VERY disappointed.

As someone who is intolerant to garlic and onions, I was nervous to eat in a french restaurant. The chef and our waitress however ensured that I had a delicious dinner, without risk of eating what I can’t. I can’t praise them enough! And the chocolate pot at the end was amazing, highly recommend! Thank-you

We had been having a lovely evening and had enjoyed our food but unfortunately our experience was marred when I was given milk for my coffee that was not only “off” but had a live fly swimming in it! Secondly I didn’t expect my friend to be given a lecture from the waitress for tasting my creme caramel when she herself ordered from the gluten free menu. I was embarrassed by this incident and suggested that the waitress should perhaps be more concerned about the fly in my coffee than who was eating the creme caramel! I don’t want to comment further but it’s an evening I will remember for the wrong reasons.

Côte in Cambridge is always exceptional. The food is ever reliable: flavoursome, unpretentious, and well presented. The setting is brasserie-elegant: chic and unfussy. But the outstanding element of Côte in Cambridge is the front-of-house managers and the staff, who are some of the very best I have encountered anywhere: welcoming, charming, and with a quiet Jeeves-like efficiency that is an object of wonder. Their generosity in looking after post-theatre and post-concert diners, without ever putting them under pressure to finish up so the staff can go home, is one of the great amenities of life in Cambridge - and hugely appreciated.

Our overall experience with cote at cambridge is marvelous, the service was very attentive, the server we had was very accommodating and friendly. The food is amazing and delicious. The ambiance of the place is great and very inviting, very instagramable.

Superb food and excellent service with a great ambiance. This was my first visit and booked for a special occasion and it did not disappoint. it was also excellent value for money and I would recommend it and will eat there again

I like Cote as the meals here are simple but tasty and satisfying . We had a complimentary Martini which was nice and the food is good but not expensive .Service was fine .I think it’s a good safe bet for a meal, they do pre theatre for a good price and the surroundings are very pleasant.

Lovely atmosphere and bubbly helpful waitress. Had never visited Cambridge before and this place was recommended by hotel staff. Good selection of meal choices, highly recommend the duck breast. Quite pink but it suited us. Haddock was very tasty also. Excellent crab bisque and prawn gratinee starters. Good wine selection. Had no room for dessert 🙄 Would have no hesitation in recommending and will definitely return.

We had a great evening at Cote for a family get together. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient.

I have been to cote a few times in the last couple of years and the food has always been grate, but everytime I went with my friends the service wasn’t good at all, yesterday we went in a group of friends and everyone was happy with the food and the service was perfect, Agatha was really polite and nice, I will definitely come back more often. Great service

An excellent meal with first class service and a good atmosphere.

A couple of noisy people at the table next to ours - otherwise an excellent experience! Not going to give you fewer than 6 stars overall though.
