Côte Cambridge

We like Cote resturants. We particully use the ones in Bridge Street , Cambridge and in St Martin's near Liecester Square, London. Last night we gave ourselves 1 hour 45 minutes for a two course meal and drinks. Twenty minutes after we had finished our main course, a member of staff came and cleared the plates etc. 10 minutes later we were asked if we wanted a desert, which we did. The food eventually came but now we were now running out of time to get to a theatre. We asked for the bill as soon as the deserts arrived, and the cost of the deserts had been refunded. Good customer relations, thankyou, but we would prefer a little more attention to your customers at Cambridge. This will not deter us from visiting again, but please attend the customers with a bit more thought.

Great restaurant for a quick and tasty meal, can get a bit noisy and we were right next to a door they kept opening every couple of minutes to literally throw empty bottles into. We won’t sit in that table again! Otherwise a good meal.

Great as usual. Great food and always reliable service. Not just another chain. It’s different. Cambridge is a good branch, always busy with a good atmosphere.

First time i have been to a Cote Brasserie and it was excellent. Would 100% recommend to anyone, Amazing food and the service was very good.

The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious. I will definitely go back. The staff was very thoughtful and patient with our table of 11 including a toddler.

Excellent food and service.......as always. The evening was a complete success from arrival to leaving. My party of six had no complaints whatsoever and three of them had never eaten at a Cote before and were amazed at the standard of food and service . Cambridge Cote has never let me down.

Almost always consistent in good food quality, choice, value and friendly service. Best to book a table for pre 7 pm eating. Some wines a tad on the high price side.

Excellent food and service as usual. Our favourite restaurant without a doubt.

We visited Cambridge for a weekend away and booked cote brasserie for our final evening in the city. I ordered the crab mayonnaise, my partner had mussels which were so good we split them in half so we could both savour them. For mains I had the duck breast and he had a sirloin, both were cooked perfectly and all elements of the meal were utterly delicious. Desserts were chocolate fondant and a cheese board again both were excellent. I ordered a baileys float coffee which was not on the menu but they were more than happy to accommodate. The wait staff were very attentive and the overall service was excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would consider visiting Cambridge again with the sole intention of returning to cote brasserie.

Yet another great meal. The consistency and good service mark this out from the usual chains. Set menus or a la carte are good and the wine list has restored my faith in French wines.

We eat at Cote' Cambridge a few times a year and it is never less than excellent. Good choice of food and friendly efficient service. It's always worth booking ahead as the restaurant does get very busy

Really enjoyable experience from start to finish. I went for my birthday dinner with my wife. The chicken mousse pate was really tasty and the calamari was some of the best that I've tasted. We both had the chicken main course which was excellent (except for the rocket which we don't like). We washed it down with a very reasonably priced Viognier white. Slightly disappointed that we didn't have room for a dessert. Definitely be going back.

Third time at a CB and great. Menu, table, and serving staff spot on. The use of quality ingredients well cooked is clear. Well trained knowledgeable and personable waitress.

Excellent food and the fixed price menus are good value. The service was pretty good until we needed to pay the bill. We were in a hurry to get to a concert and the restaurant was suddenly very busy. I eventually went up to the counter to pay. I received an apology for keeping me waiting and the optional service charge was removed from the bill without me asking - which seemed a perfectly acceptable response. We've eaten there on a number of occasions before and this is the first time the service level has slipped a little. We'll certainly be eating there again.

Great overall experience! Love Cote and go regularly for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Your food is always spot on and perfectly cooked with great flavours. Menu is extensive including your drinks. Most frequent one is Cambridge. Staff always super friendly and accommodating.

Well cooked nd presented as usual. I was persuaded to have a portion of French beans. They were hard and undercooked. I appreciate that some like them this way but a little more cooking would have suited me better. Should I have been given an option when ordering them?

Good as usual! We are regular customers and just love our favourites: calamari Fritti, steak frites, mousse au chocolat, and the free fresh water. We can always rely on the food and also the service.

Excellent as always , value for money it can't be beaten

Wrong drinks arrived (vodka and tonic rather than the gin and tonic we asked for). The gratin potatoes arrived cold, I sent them back for the same ones to reappear 30s later after being microwaved up. Really disappointed.

Good food nice location good area for 10 diners pleasant staff

A really good lunchtime! We had to move our booking - absolutely no problem. Our table was in a great position; staff were attentive but not ‘pushy’ and the food, as always, delicious. The complimentary cocktail was excellent- thank you!

Love Cote and am always here! Cambridge is my local one and the staff are great. Cote serve beautiful food which is very tasty and always a treat. Often will visit other Cotes when in other towns/ cities. Will go for breakfast/ lunch/ dinner.

The table for 6 in a bay was a little cramped: having booked a week in advance I did expect a more comfortable table.

We had an amazing meal , I had duck breast and it was the best I have had. The red wine was excellent too. The food is always extremely good. The restaurant is one of my favourites, friendly , helpful staff and a lovely ambience.

I booked a table for 12 for a birthday surprise dinner. The staff were attentive, but not too much, the food was lovely and we had a great time.
