Great atmosphere and lovely staff and food The waiter accommodated is when we asked for a nice window seat The vegetarian menu is such a great selection and very strangely you don’t have a clue they have one as it’s not displayed outside

This was my wife and I first visit to Cote Brasserie. From starter through to sweet we found the food to be of an excellent standard. Top notch service made a very enjoyable experience. We will be back

I don't why I bother to reply to these Cote surveys because the meal, service and atmosphere is always good. I love the breast of duck! However tonight was an exception when the service was faster than usual. Admittedley it was only two courses. When all done we were on our way in under 1 hour. Fast or what? The car park charge was only £1.60! I think it could have been a little slower to encourage taking to the wife (Football on TV 3 nights running!).

A very pleasant meal which was well cooked and which had the additional benefit of a free aperitif for each of us. Service polite and helpful

Reliably good.Visited on mothers day,early evening with husband and his mum.We go to Cote regularly and its always reliable.Great atmosphere.Service was a little slower this time as very busy but waiting times were fine, would highly recommend. We always ask for a table near the front as the view of Cambridge life is great. Highly recommended. There was a great value set menu, including a Kir royale, lovely!

Consistently excellent service and excellent food in a lovely environment.

My experience is usually always 5-star at Cote. However on this visit the chicken was greatly overcooked, making it tough and tasteless. Very disappointing from our favourite restaurant in Cambridge.

Our party of four all had a lovely experience for a relative’s birthday and pre-theatre meal. The waitress was very friendly and our meals were all delicious and served just right in terms of timing. It was only our second visit to Cambridge Cote, having eaten at Bury St Edmunds previously, and we will certainly be back. Cote really set the gold standard in terms of staff, food and ambience. It was OK, nice friendly staff, but our table was not brilliant. We had mussels with cider, which was very good, and port tenderloin. Quite expensive, but we enjoyed ourselves.

We visited Cambridge for a weekend away and booked cote brasserie for our final evening in the city. I ordered the crab mayonnaise, my partner had mussels which were so good we split them in half so we could both savour them. For mains I had the duck breast and he had a sirloin, both were cooked perfectly and all elements of the meal were utterly delicious. Desserts were chocolate fondant and a cheese board again both were excellent. I ordered a baileys float coffee which was not on the menu but they were more than happy to accommodate. The wait staff were very attentive and the overall service was excellent. We would highly recommend this restaurant and would consider visiting Cambridge again with the sole intention of returning to cote brasserie.

The meal was to catch up with a friend visiting from Australia. We were given a quiet space, as requested. The food appeared in good time and was just as delicious as I have come to expect from Côte. The service was friendly and not overwhelming. We were not rushed in any way and spent two and a half hours at our table. We were both very happy with the whole experience. I was only disappointed by the coffee - very strong and a little bitter.

Fantastic meal great waiting service and all very friendly and helpful . We will definitely be coming back .

We love Cote. I always end up with the squid & duck and my wife with the gf charcuterie and fish stew despite the fact there are other things on the menu fhat we have tried and love. Very efficient service and pleasant staff. Congrats to all staff, especially fhe manager who runs a tight but friendly ship. Lovely meal for my wife's birthday.

Had a great meal at Côte Cambridge. Booked a table for 7, online, on the day and had quite a few options for time, excellent service, no fuss. Mentioned we were celebrating someone's birthday milestone and they greeted us with bubbly. Waitress was great, food was wonderful, had a really good evening, will definitely be going again.

Our first visit to this branch. It was a special occasion so when I asked for a good table, the staff obliged without hesitation. All the staff were absolutely lovely which contributed greatly to our evening. The service was excellent and the food in the main very good. Unfortunately there were a couple of problems. My husband's starter of smoked salmon came with distinctly stale bread but when he mentioned this the charge for the starter was immediately removed from the bill, which was pleasantly surprising! Less so was the rare ribeye my son ordered, which was then presented as medium sirloin. A quick check with the kitchen and we were told all was well. My son was asked to check his steak and he said it was fine as all our meals had been served and he didn't want to delay us all, but his meat was definitely not rare, which detracted somewhat from his, and therefore our, enjoyment. Nevertheless it was a pleasant and enjoyable evening and I would happily return.

First visit to Cote. Very impressed. Great service and food. Staff friendly. Will definitely return. All in all a great experience. Nothing negative to say

Greeted warmly when we entered the restaurant and given our complimentary cocktails without any nudging from us .. food wonderful - as always - only upset was a very very truculent and loud toddler who screamed for the entirety of our visit, but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant or staff.

We like Cote resturants. We particully use the ones in Bridge Street , Cambridge and in St Martin's near Liecester Square, London. Last night we gave ourselves 1 hour 45 minutes for a two course meal and drinks. Twenty minutes after we had finished our main course, a member of staff came and cleared the plates etc. 10 minutes later we were asked if we wanted a desert, which we did. The food eventually came but now we were now running out of time to get to a theatre. We asked for the bill as soon as the deserts arrived, and the cost of the deserts had been refunded. Good customer relations, thankyou, but we would prefer a little more attention to your customers at Cambridge. This will not deter us from visiting again, but please attend the customers with a bit more thought.

Lively atmosphere, lovely food served by courteous and friendly staff. Enjoyed the complimentary blood orange martinis that were part of the February promotion. Always a pleasure to dine at Côte Brasserie!

Enjoyed the free cocktail to start and the food was great and the service was fast. Noisy large party near to us spoiled the occasion as we could hardly hear ourselves over them.

Our local Cote Brasserie is Norwich, which is consistently excellent. We ate today in Cambridge after meeting up with some family members and were very dissapointed overall with our lunch experience. The service was very slow and the restaurant seemed under staffed. The waiter who served us was very stand-offish and disinterested when taking our order. We waited a very long time for plates to be cleared between courses. The food was ok but only warm at best and seemed as though as though it had been waiting for a while under a hot lamp, before being served. Overall not the quality of service or food that we have been used to receiving at our local Cote.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday at Cote Cambridge. The staff decorated the table for us and provided free birthday champagne for us all. Staff were very friendly and the food was fabulous!

Yet another great meal. The consistency and good service mark this out from the usual chains. Set menus or a la carte are good and the wine list has restored my faith in French wines.

Wonderful night at Cote as always. Really do like Cote, as do a lot of my friends. Restaurant roomy and do not feel jammed in, unlike some other restaurants. Service and food always brilliant. Great menu choice and like how it every month you have specials, including different drinks.

Service is always very personal here. All the staff seem to be well trained. You can rely on the food too, seldom had an issue and on the odd occasion it has been rectified to our satisfaction quickly! Love Cote, have been to a few other branches and I have to say Cambridge is always the best.

Our overall view was this was a disappointing lunch. The greeter was poor. We had to wait a long time to be seated, even though we had booked a table and there were many vacant tables when we arrived. The service was very slow and inadequate. We waited a very long time for both the starter and especially the main course. Even to pay at the end, we had to chase the staff three times and then to wait again to make the payment. The food was unfortunately mediocre. We chose the set menu. The soup was lacking in taste and was diluted. It was also not hot enough. We have done so much better at your other branches. Someone needs to manage the branch much more efficiently.

Service was excellent from the maitre d’ showing us to our table and sorting out drinks. Attentive service from our waitress who treated my 11 year old son the same as myself, to the degree he had the confidence to request the bill. Food was lovely as usual so overall a very happy special meal for the two of us. Thank you.
