We always feel welcome. The team are very professional and attentive. Tart au citron was one of the best I ever had.

Went at lunchtime to celebrate my husbands birthday. I had left a msg when I booked that it was his birthday. We were delighted when we were shown to our table which had birthday sprinkles. We were then given a complimentary glass of fizz which made us feel really special! Great, friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Tables were far enough apart to make us feel safe. Good menu, not too extensive so quite easy to decide quickly. R and really good main course fish and the moules were very good also. Will go back and try brunch. Lovely treat especially in these unpredictable times.

Always great service and food at Cote. First time visit to Bury St Edmunds restaurant and didn’t disappoint.

We had a very pleasant evening with an elderly relative. Your staff were very professional and friendly. We remarked on how well they judged the situation and made appropriate conversation as they served us. Food was excellent well presented and beautifully cooked. Vegetable prices perhaps a little high. The noise was a little high but with socially distanced tables this was not too much of a problem

One of our favourite restaurants. Always good food. We like the way it is brought straight out from the kitchen to be served by the waiters.( no hanging about in the kitchen getting cold!) Always very pleasant and friendly staff. We keep coming back time after time. It’s like home from home!

Perfect choice to celebrate my daughter's 18th. The service was impeccable with some lovely touches by the restaurant such a free glass of Kir Royale for us all and my daughter's dessert was free to mark the occasion. The table was perfect, the atmosphere was perfect and the food was beautiful and excellent value for money. Thank you Cote for making my daughter's 18th such a special and memorable occasion.

Côte is our favourite restaurant in Bury St Edmunds and this hasn’t changed during lockdown. All safety measures were in place making us feel comfortable and relaxed. The bonus was that there is no limited menu as there is at other places to eat around the county. Great food and impeccable service.

Fantastic atmosphere, great service and amazing food! If Cote ever takes the pork belly off the menu we shall never come back. That dish is just sublime 🤩. Keep up the good work.

As always here, great food and service, the atmosphere here has to be sampled to be believed for such a large restaurant, and we believe this is down to the staff here!!

Food and service were excellent as always. No complaints there at all (though the little water bottles are far too small) . It felt like other than face masks and sanitiser at the door little other effort had been made re COVID-19. Tables were normal spacing apart with no screens or other measures. I was glad we hadn’t invited my mother in law for lunch (71) and felt guilty about the lady who was clearly undergoing chemo, sitting at the table a metre away from our family.

The service was what we have come to expect from Cote, that is , very good. The food was well presented and very flavoursome. We will return on our next trip to Bury St Edmunds

This was or first visit to the restaurant since COVID hit. The food was excellent as always. We did have to wait a long time for our food but we expected that as we thought there would be less staff in the kitchen. However we did not expect how busy the restaurant was. We feel that there was not really enough room between customers.Also not everyone wore a mask to come in and certainly most people did not use hand sanitizer. We did not find it a relaxing meal as it appears so many people do not follow the rules. The food was delicious but the environment uncomfortable and slightly worrying. So for now we will stick to ordering on line .

Really nice meal last night before our first cinema outing in many months. The French onion soup was delicious and the tuna in the salad Nicoise was cooked pink in the middle which is just how I like it. Lovely service - it’s great to be back to a proper evening out!

Very disappointed that the Seasonal fig cocktail wasn't available as this enticed us to go - this is also the second time time that the promotional monthly special hasn’t been available. However, food and service, as usual, very good.

My wife and I have just enjoyed the best meals we have eaten for a long time. The food was excellent, the wine perfect and the service impeccable. If you get the chance do come and eat here. It’s a great experience. Well done Cote Bury St Edmunds!

The food and service were great, but the advertised fig cocktail was a major reason behind our choice of Cote on saturday, so it was really disappointing to be told that it was not available - an October promotion on 3rd October, at 5:30pm, should be available.

Perfect as always! Love going to Cote for any reason!

We have the grand Marnier dessert which wasn’t great, the they’re of setting it on fire wasn’t matched by the overall taste

We had a lovely evening. The staff were all very pleasant. Unfortunately there was a mistake with my order which meant I had to wait for my main to be prepared again but our bill was generously discounted, which was a nice surprise. Food very nice as always.

Relaxed welcoming atmosphere, excellent service and delicious good quality food.

The food was delicious. However, we had a very long wait before being served, both for the first course and the second. I understand completely if you are very busy or short of staff. But, in this case someone should explain the situation and ask for our patience.

Had a meal at this wonderful restaurant 1/10/20. Polite and very help staff and the food was first class. Would highly recommend and would definately return.
