Always enjoy our visit to Bury St Edmunds as food is always delicious and great value as well as the Staff being so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu they are handing us. The atmosphere is also a great feel when you walk into the restaurant. We will definitely return again in the not to distant future.
Had a great meal at Cote, Bury St Edmunds, early supper as we were going to the cinema, we advised of our limited time and no problem, we finished in plenty of time
Met for a breakfast at 8am, very good service, lovely environment and fantastic food and drink! No complaints, will definitely be dining at Cotes again! :)

We had an excellent meal, great surroundings, very welcoming efficient staff, can’t wait to go again. Menu varied my Fish Stew was excellent, wine good.
Always welcoming on arrival and we had the choice of seats in the restaurant. We were pressed for time as we were going to the cinema but desserts were speedily brought to our table so we had plenty of time to walk to the cinema.
Excellent service from the staff at Cote Barrier from the moment we arrived and with prompt attention for each course. There was an excellent choice for each course on the extensive menu and the quality of food was excellent and cooked perfectly. We will be back for more soon !
Meal ended early when 8 foul mouthed drunks were allowed in - don’t think this is the type of establishment that I wish to return to again in the near future
Good food but slow service. Lot of choice. Prices ok. The menu is only available from Monday to Friday. All credit cards accepted. Good desserts.
It was a present for my husband. The experience was excellent. We had the 3 course set menu. The food was very good as was the service. Will definitely go again.
Excellent meal at Cote, service was very prompt and courteous. We went as a result of the free bottle of wine promotion however we go there regularly as the food and service maintain continue at a high standard.
Nice atmosphere and very good service. The food was good value and tasty- particularly the fillet steak and cheese and spinach crepes. Would definitely recommend!
There was a good variety on the set menu, which had a choice of two or three courses . The tasty dishes were served professionally and with style, adding to the overall experience.
We had a very enjoyable lunch, the service was good, the staff friendly and the ambience comfortable. We eat here on a regular basis and would recommend it

Really unusual take on the afternoon tea experience. Very good catering for the one vegetarian in our party. Only thing I would change would be teapot of tea so able to have top-ups instead of just the one cup and one tea-bag. Otherwise excellent, very competitively priced also.
Our go-to restaurant in Bury St Edmunds. The service is always welcoming and friendly, the menu is varied and the food tasty and well-presented. They often have special offers, too, like a free bottle of wine. If you go before 7pm, there is a short menu, which is very good value.
Good food in an attractive ambience with friendly staff. The only cavil is that after 9pm the staff became quite sparse so on a couple of occasions we had to go looking for them, eg to take our pudding order, but they were very happy to oblige once they knew what we wanted.
As usual an excellent meal with very attentive table service. The restaurant was quite fill but the service remained top notch. We took advantage of the free wine offer which we very much appreciated!!
Exceptionally busy for a Monday lunchtime but staff very efficient and we didn't have to wait for service. Food up to usual standard and the special menu very tempting.
Excellent service as always and a varied menu. A party of 6 who all want to go back soon. Good to know that it is such a popular venue.
We booked at Cote in view of past experiences, knowing that the staff are pleasant and efficient, no long waits and courteous service. We had favourites; the steak with frites and salad, all very fresh and well presented and the roast chicken, similarly good. We chose the crepes Grand Marnier for dessert and the manager asked how we'd enjoyed it. That's why not QUITE full points for, as I said to him, it was a little too crisp and not enough softness in the middle, which is where the lovely melting of the (small drop) of Grand Marnier meets the icecream! Came away having enjoyed our meal though.
our first visit to Cote Brasserie and certainly not our last, all meals were superbly cooked with brilliant service. Thank you - see you soon.:)
We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who gave us excellent service throughout. We had the two-course lunch, which was very tasty and good value.
Good service and the set menu before 7pm is good. The waitress let us try a small amount of house wine before choosing. I thought that was a nice touch.
Great service, lovely food, nice environment. Lots of choice on the menu, all at a reasonable price. Waiting staff knowledgeable and friendly and i would thoroughly reccommend this restaurant.
Great food, service and value - will return! We are always impressed by this Cote in 'down town' Bury St Edmunds and judging by the full restaurant so are many others!
Fantastic choices on new November menu. Excellent value, great food and wine. Staff at Cote are trained to such a good standard in comparison to many other restaurants chains it makes for a relaxing dining experience.
Lovely staff. A slight wait for the main course but got an apology. Gorgeous food. Early evening menu well priced. Would recommend to friends and family. Will hopefully return.
The Cote restaurant in Bury St Edmunds was the ideal place to celebrate my friends Birthday the atmosphere was inviting and convivial matched only by the great food full of typically French flavour and the excellent service all at a very affordable price I would highly recommend it for a special occasion.
Very polite helpful and attentive. Food delicious and reasonably priced. Well spaced our tables, smart look and spotless. Thank you for a great evening that you made extra special
My husband and I had a lovely meal and fantastic service along with a free bottle of wine!! What a great way to spend my birthday! Thank you.

The menu is excellent very varied especially good for us Ladies who don't always want 'heavy' meals and the service is always excellent, recommend a visit
The food and staffing was very good BUT I requested a specific table; due to having two disabled persons, six days beforehand and that was not provided. Instead we were placed in an uncomfortable noisy section of the venue which totally spoiled the whole evening
Great meal and excellent attention making sure we enjoyed our visit Will return soon Nothing was to much trouble every visit the food is delicious
Excellent meal and the family found plenty on the menu to their taste. Found service a little slow between course do to a shortage of staff.
Wrong coffee was served. Breakfast order was incorrect, changed and still missing items. Toast was cold. Staff not very attentive. Such a shame as was for a birthday brunch
As usual our meal was very tasty, nicely presented and well served. The Pain Perdue was amazing - would it have been rude to lick the plate?

A most enjoyable meal, offering a good choice, with good friendly service. To be recommended. I never give full marks as a matter of principle! :)
Excellent food and service, we enjoyed it very much. A lovely atmosphere and the waiters are all most attentive and courteous from arriving to leaving.
Always good the staff are very friendly and efficient. The food is is varied and there is a good choice. I would recommend it to friends.
A great place to eat in Bury St Edmunds staff great and Food
Cote is a very good place to have lunch with professional and friendly service,- just the right amount of attention. The food is not haute cuisine but very good value. The moules (starter) today were delicious; the chicken breast was a bit dry. The crumble is always good!
I always find Côte reliable with good service, friendly staff and good food. The ambience is pleasant and it is overall good value for money. I would recommend the Côte in Bury St Edmunds to friends and will be returning.
Excellent food , friendly, efficient service in a good atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Never been disappointed. Very convenient for town centre shopping . Recommended highly
I have visited a number of Cotes restaurants in London and the South East and never had a disappointing meal, whoever selects the staff does a good job. Wine selection is good and a fair price.
The pre 7 pm menu was delicious and great value! We will definitely be going to Cote again as this was a great first experience.
Super service, super food. My calamari was delicious, melted in the mouth, steak a little chewy but still tasty. Australian friends enjoyed it too. Will go again
Service was good and fast especially considering the restaurant was full. Food was nice, however the steak was a little chewy (although cooked perfectly pink)
We much enjoyed our luncheon, the choice from the menu was much enjoyed. Saturday lunch time - the restaurant became busy, so there were lapses of attention at times. Nevertheless we enjoyed our visit.
Fantastic food great choices on the menu. Staff very helpful and lovely as always! Always our first choice when eating out in Bury. Looking forward to our next visit.
Excellent food & service. We appreciated the glasses of Kir Royale for my husband's birthday & our waitress was most helpful with our menu choices.
