Côte Bury St Edmunds

Have been here a few times now, Great food, freshly cooked and the staff are friendly and not overbearing probably the best chain restaurant in Bury St Edmunds at the moment!!

Excellent Food and great service. Will definitely go back again. The Atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the waiters polite and attentive but not a nuisance

Excellent, I visited Cote every Saturday in Bury. All the staff there I appreciate very much their excellent manner's, everything one & all do is to perfection. The thing that is impresses me is their good team spirit. Well done all Merryl

Lovely food and good atmosphere. The evening menu for two courses is good value. Only complaint is that they add 12.5% to the bill for service charge.

Calm atmosphere attentive staff good food. Only negative observation: 12.5% service charge added automatically to bill. This is excessive and leads to awkwardness if challenged

A pleasant atmosphere with comfortable surroundings. The food is always of a reliable and consistent quality. The staff are always friendly and provide excellent efficient service.

Great Birthday lunch, very nice and helpful waitress. Would like to see some changes A la carte...As we are regulars and I get bored of the same dishes. Thank you very much

Excellent service, excellent food. What’s not to like. We really enjoying visiting Cotes. I just love the fish stew. All staff are enthusiastic and have a good smile.

Very helpful staff - my husband has specific dietary requirements and staff were very good at checking with chef. Good range of choices. We will definitely return.

The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. We ordered the confit duck special and were told there would be a 35 minute wait as the red cabbage was still being prepared. That was fine as we were having a starter anyway. The cabbage was a little crunchy & the raisins in the duck special were sadly missing but overall the food was delicious. We were taking advantage of the wine offer & the merlot we chose was outstanding. We’ve eaten in half a dozen Cote Brasseries & never had a bad meal - that’s why we keep coming back for more- keep it up guys!

The waiter said he would bring back the change. He didn't. Even though it was only £3 as you already add service I was annoyed.

Second time in just over a week we’ve dined here. I have to say I was no disappointed for a second time. Great service, fantastic food and great atmosphere.

You can't fault the atmosphere and food. Just we were never asked if the food was ok. Restaurant was quite warm which was nice as it was cold outside.

Always excellent service and a great atmosphere and the food is good too. All round a great place to eat and catch up with friends.

The friendy reception from the Team is always refreshing and the food was spot on. The whole Cote package makes it one of the best restaurants in BSE

Could not be faulted - food and service were excellent. We have been to this restaurant on several occasions and never been disappointed. Looking forward to our next visit.

The calamari starter was excellent as was the duck main course which we had with one side dish of peas between the two of us. The Chemin De Marquiere Merlot wine complemented the meal very nicely and the service was faultless. We enjoyed it all very much.

Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I was late and they were chilled about it. The food was lovely as always. Ten out of ten. And it’s the best place in town for my husband who has MND and is in a wheelchair. And the disabled loo is ok for him.

We really enjoyed the early bird menu. Good value and very tasty. Lovely staff and good service even though they were very busy. Chicken was a little over cooked making it tough and mushroom risotto had gone slightly too thick. The dessert was delicious and it was all a pleasant experience thank you.

Very good polite and quick service. A choice for vegetarians and vegans on the specials would be good. Wine reasonably priced and delicious. No vegan and vegetarian information on the pudding menu.

Was disappointed that our table request had not been honoured but otherwise good service and food very busy but quick attentive service enjoyable evening meal

A really excellent way to celebrate our forty something wedding anniversary. Cote Bury St Edmunds is a 35min drive for us and is well worth it . A warm welcome from the staff and lovely food in very pleasant surroundings.

Menu always has something interesting to choose.Food good. staff always polite and helpful.Service is good. Atmosphere is always buzzing which is good for a small town.

My wife and I enjoyed an excellent sea bream,te best have had in a long while. It was served by a polite and considerate Polish girl named Kalina

great atmosphere- good food - had the set menu- with extra green vegetables as did not come with the meal. food was hot and delicious- asked for ice and Lemon with drink but did not get- overall a nice evening

Food good & staff friendly but dessert took 20+minutes to arrive meaning the rush we had wished to avoid getting to the theatre became a reality. Service throughout was good but a little languid

Fantastic food and service. Cote have got it right! I think Cote is the best 'chain' resturant in the UK. Always consistant and a pleasure to visit.

I love Cote but the service was very slow today but happily we were not in a hurry - just very hungry. Of our party of four only two were having starters which arrived promptly but we then had a long wait for the main courses and had to ask if we had been forgotten

Fantastic service and lovely food. Kind enough to offer a number of table choices and very reassuring to have food labelled as gluten free when bought out to table. Thanks very much, the offer of a free bottle of wine in Jan when dining with December will be tempting me back this week!

We had an enjoyable meal and the service was as it always is prompt and courteous. We go to this restaurant regularly and will continue to do so.

Very friendly waiting staff. Tasty meals- particularly the fillet steak and pork belly. Service was efficient and the voucher for a free bottle was appreciated!

Fantastic service, attentive but not intrusive. Good food at a good price. The place has a friendly, lively but not manic feel to it. Throughout the eve the right type of music at a sensible volume was played. I truly felt like I had been "out". Will surely come again. The breakfast/brunch is superb too!!!

Lovely friendly staff and great venue for a relaxed lunch with old friends. We both had the 3 course set menu and the sea bass and apple crumble for desert were delicious.

Great staff and service. Lovely food and house white wine very good. Would have given a 5 except for the service charge added to bill. We split bill in half and although the charge is optional we weren’t asked so £10 was added to each of the 2 card transactions, ie £5 per person! We probably should have noticed and said but it’s slways a bit awkward. Otherwise great experience. Thanks.

Our 3 meals were delicious and beautifully presented. The waiting staff were very polite and attentive with the right amount of friendliness. Another good experience at Cote.

Brilliant service. Relaxed atmosphere. Extremely helpful even though it was a very busy day. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the Gavottes with our espressos.

My wife and I had an excellent meal on a rainy Tuesday evening at the Bury St Edmunds restaurant. The Crab mayonnaise starter was truly divine. Highly recommended

New Year’s Eve at 9 pm . People everywhere but staff managed in a calm way . Food , wine and service was exemplary .we are normally customer s of independent restaurant s but will definitely return

An excellent New Year's Eve. Meal was extremely good with plenty of choice, and very good value. Nice atmosphere and very pleasant, cheerful staff. Their efficiency was especially commendable considering the Restaurant was full. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, thanks to all.

4 of us had breakfast here this morning, 31/12/17 it was absolutely delicious and couldn't fault anything. Service and the food were all first class. Just a bit miffed when the bill came and service charge had been added - 10% of the bill. We always tip but just thought this a bit cheeky for a party of 4

A great place for an informal meal after the cinema. Service and food to the usual high standard. Staff are friendly, attentive, helpful and efficient

Excellent food, not rushed even though the restaurant was busy. Everything was delivered hot (that was meant to be!). The cloudy lemonade was excellent, not too harsh but definitely lemony. Portion sizes were excellent - not mounds on your plate, not wanting to order the meal again to fill me up.
