We love this place. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Always a welcoming feel, cosy in winter.... tables are well spaced. The food is excellent... our preference when we're in Bury St Eds. Especially good pre theatre or cinema... the two or three course meal is extraordinary value. And the staff stay there... We enjoy the 'waiting' style with the food coming from the kitchen to the table... All in all we'd recommend it thoroughly

Handy spot in the centre of town, the food was pleasant enough but not memorable. The staff were attentive. May go back but not rushing.

We both ordered from the Valentines special. I had duck liver pate, filet steak, and creme caramel. It was fantastic. The wine pairings were very good.

Great welcome. Mouthwatering food, the crab mayonnaise is an excellent starter. I love the mushroom and spinach crepes, my favourite main. Hubby likes the steak, lamb shank and particularly enjoyed the French onion soup last night as a warmer and said it was delicious. Service was excellent, despite being pretty full. Everyone happy all round!!!

Friendly welcome and very chatty waitress. Atmosphere was good, table layout and lighting etc.. all very nice and everything was clean. The speed with which the food came to the table was exceptional!

Food good but service slow again although the restaurant was not full. I think your staff need a bit more training. A couple who came and sat down next to us did not receive any menus or any attention from staff for at least 15mins so they walked out.

Good food, good service in a pleasant airy atmosphere. We have eaten her many times over the past few years. Tonight was as nice as usual. I had a Fougasse and a chicken salad with fries. The salad has lots of interesting components - avocado, spinach, walnuts etc. In a mustard dressing - and was very tasty. We quite often have a weekend breakfast here and chill and read the papers. Very nice staff and good service.

Friendly efficient staff and the food is good. There was an issue with one dish but it was taken away and a new dish freshly cooked which was fine. issue dealt with correctly.

Food excellent as always but they may have been short staffed as service perhaps a little slower than usual and toilets needed more regular checking .

We always enjoy our meal, good seasonal choices in a enjoyable atmosphere, staff are friendly, helpful without fussing, we eat in Cote often, whenever we are there, lunch, dinner or late it is good experience.

The usual good experience with Cote, wherever the restaurant. The set lunch of 3 or 4 courses is such excellent value for a truly modest price.

A nicely fitted out restaurant with a good atmosphere; a warm welcome on our arrival, attentive staff and excellent food - a very enjoyable early evening dinner for two. Not much more one could ask for! Best to book a table rather than just turn up!

Lovely atmosphere, friendly Staff. Always very busy on a Friday and Saturday, handled it well. Service was good. Only downfall is that it is expensive for what you get.

Food was ok,Bloodorange salad turned out to be normal Orange with hundred of bips in .Waiters all very friendly but not very attentive.Didnt ask if everything ok,never asked if we wanted more drinks ,always had to call them over,and waited forever to pay the bill.

Friendly and efficient service as always, and a free bottle of wine as well! Food was tasty and our waiter helped us to pay quickly as we were in a hurry to get to the cinema.

Food excellent,service good and ambience great.We met relatives that we had not seen for a while and were looking for a light lunch.Cote fitted the bill perfectly.Lunch washed down with a glass of wine-everyone happy.

I like the atmosphere , the seasonal changes in the menu , the brilliant staff and the comfy banquets. The building is also very attractive

The food was good and the staff were pleasant but service was slow. We had to call staff over to take our order for both courses.

Lovely restaurant and very good waiting staff. We shared a fougass and piquant olives to start but our main courses turned up half way through eating them. Maybe we should have pointed out that we were having them as a starter. One of our mains was the cod goujons and these were a little bit chewy, maybe cooked a bit too long. Everything else was lovely, especially the Citron tarte. We would happily return.

Good food, excellent service, friendly and helpful staff. Tables would benefit from linen cloths in support of the linen napkins. Upholstered chairs would also be a good idea. Do a little upgrading !

I often eat here and always have a lovely experience. The food is lovely and reasonably priced and the staff are always attentive. Looking forward to my next visit.

Our first visit here. Highly recommend. Food superb. I had the sea bass, absolutely delicious cooked to perfection. It was so good we returned on the Sunday for brunch, breakfast was amazing! Staff attentive and friendly. You won't be disappointed

The food was delicious and the service polite and attentive. It was a little bit noisy and very warm but otherwise a very pleasant evening.

Excellent meal we were early for the table they give us free kier royale each while we waited ( 6 of us) lovely meal top class and their own vegetarian menu which my friend was very pleased about!

Enjoyable as ever, becoming our go-to restaurant in BStE. All four of us had a very nice meal and we’ll certainly be back. Thanks to all concerned.

Another nice meal again, sadly I had to knock of a point. My main was the Chicken & Walnut Salad, and the Chicken was really over cooked and had a lot of burnt edges, which made it have a bitter taste, it was described as having avocado, of which I only found one piece.
