Service was not good. We had to wait to be seated, it was nearly 20 minutes before somebody came to take the order, the main course was slow in coming, our deserts were forgotten about. The cost of our drinks and the service charge were removed from our bill which was good.

Excellent 3 course meal, very tasty. Great service, not rushed at all. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I eat at Cote's Bury St Edmunds on a regular basis, easily once a week. Sometime breakfast sometimes lunch and sometimes dinner. Our only gripe now is that you could probably do with a change of menu as we have virtually gone through the whole list. See what you can do please.

Had a very enjoyable meal. Fish stew was amazing and highly recommended. Our waitress was polite and helpful and nothing was too much bother for her.

My wife had a foreign object in her sautéed potatoes . After attracting the attention of the Waiter who was engrossed and preoccupied in chatting to who we understand to be regulars , he espied the object and removed the potato disc bearing the object off the knife and disappeared into the kitchen . Sometime later he returned with a pathetic apology . He then walked off and commenced his duties .

We had an absolutely lovely meal, the food was delicious as always. The waiting staff are always great but this evening the young man that served us was outstanding, very efficient, happy, helpful, polite and professional, we visited as an adult family of 4 and it was the first visit for one guest and he loved it!! we have already planned to visit again next week for a lunch date,

Delicious lunch, excellent staff and service. We enjoyed our lunch for two. Cote seem to perfectly time the flow of the meal, you are not rushed and you are not left too long.

As usual Cote didn't disappoint!! This is my favourite restaurant by far and every year I come here for my birthday. We had a lovely meal tonight and our waiter Adam was friendly and cheery 🙂 We had a lovely night and the nice treat of a free kir royale for my birthday was greatly appreciated.

Thoughtful, amusing welcome at the door. Food served with a flourish, humour and charm. Lovely staff. Food as ever was delicious. Special mention for the Lemon tart dessert, I don't usually go for a dessert unless it's chief ingredient is chocolate, but on encouragement from the waiter I succumbed. All I can say, it was possibly the best dessert I have experienced in a restaurant, ever! Hope Cote at Bury St Edmunds never closes. Wonderful restaurant - the layout is a perfect. Just turn the music up, how about some classic French music, Sidney Bechet, Francois Hardy, Edith Piaf for example.
