The fact that we visit the Bury St Edmunds branch of Cote regularly speaks for itself. The welcome is always warm and the food always good.

A regular, casual eating place in BSE. Food is good, service friendly, dutiful and professional and the over ambience is calm, pleasant and restrained. A highly recommended restaurant

The reason we regularly eat at Bury St Edmunds Cote is because the manager and staff are very friendly and the food is very good. On Tuesday the place was packed and there was a real buzz so obviously others feel the same.

We changed our booking at the last minute and opted for breakfast instead of lunch but the restaurant was very accommodating. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his full English. I enjoyed my eggs royale although there was far too much hollandaise sauce on the plate which was wasted.

Having booked a table the day before, as we traveled 40miles, to make sure, plenty of empty tables but given one in the walk through of the restaurant, waitress takes our order, after 30mins we ask if there is a problem, no just busy she says, after 45mins manager says it’s being plated up,after a further 5mins he goes to get it,food ok but dried , he took the price of our water off the bill to make up for bad service!

We booked as usual and were taken to the table we like . The restaurant was very busy and we did wait longer than normal for our food to arrive. But when it came it was very good . A few people were complaining about the time they had to wait , but we were in no hurry so it wasn’t a problem to us. As our table was close to the entrance we could here people be asked to come back in about half an hour. Some did others didn’t. I suppose people are confused because they can see the odd empty tables ,but like myself some people book ! Also the kitchen was under great pressure to serve the customers it had , so more people complaining they didn’t need. But overall the food was very good ,as always. So just look around and decide if you have enough time to enjoy this lovely restaurant and it’s staff.

A very welcoming and pleasant restaurant, staffed by a knowledgable and friendly front of house team - supported by a very hands on and active manager. The food is always tasty and enjoyable and the menu changes regularly. Despite it being very busy on our most recent visit the service and quality of food was excellent, as we have come to expect of this well run restaurant.

This is our" Go To" place to eat in Bury St Edmunds, although we have had meals at the Norwich and St. Katharines Dock Cote brasserie's and been very pleased with the experience. We find the Bury Cote very welcoming ,on this occasion we chose from the lunch menu along with a very nice bottle of Rose wine.

Despite the fact that when we visited Cote at Bury, the restaurant was crowded as it was the start of the school half term, service was as good as usual; food arrived quickly and the staff were as smiley as ever.

The front of house staff were great. The food was lovely. The 45 minute wait to get the food while people who came in 25 minutes after us got there’s was not good. When I mentioned the wait to the front of house manager he was great. Shame he was let down by the kitchen.

Very warm welcome, excellent food and attentive service. I would definitely recommend it and would visit again. There is a very good menu, plenty of choice to suit all tastes and the portions are what I would expect from a French restaurant, plenty without feeling over full.

Excellent all round will return. Reasonable price 3 courses and a bottle of red house for £60! Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. No tipping required or expected. I object to having pressure placed to tip on the card reader. Cash left on the table.

We eat at Cote Bury St Edmunds regularly and the food and service are always excellent. A particularly good feature is the changing menu of seasonal 'specials'.
