Why cook a meal at home when a delicious duck confit is available at Cotes. Followed by their exceptional creme caramel.
Extremely accommodating when we sought approval to bring our booking forward by 30min. Polite and welcoming staff who matched speed of service with consideration to a member of our party that is a "slow eater". Well done.
As ever, the whole experience delivered to the highest of standards. Service is always superb
As always excellent and very friendly staff .Thank you .Jean X
Went for my birthday treat with my wife. Had a lovely meal. Scallops followed by duck breast. Rounded off with amazing cream caramel. Food well presented and hot.
As always the food was delicious and the staff are excellent
This restaurant has never failed us in any way, shape or form, both of us always Look for two meeting the staff and enjoy a dinner here!!!
Restaurant was very busy and we squeezed in on a table for 2
Came here for my wife’s 50th birthday as a group of 19 and have to say the service was superb especially the waiter who I think was called Sam, we had to pre order which made for a quick service as shortly after everyone had arrived the starters came out and we didn’t have long to wait for any of the courses will be back in the future
The service and the food was very good. However i feel the gratuity charge on the final bill was sneaky. I would have left a tip, but didn't because of the charge.

Good friendly service and a really excellent choice of options on the children’s menu - our ( grown up) food was good too. It was a little slow between the starter and main, but our waitress apologised for any delays and we felt well looked after. Especially for the great value kids menu we would definitely come again.
Food well presented and tasty. Good value. Staff friendly and attentive. Very enjoyable and relaxed evening
The waiter was excellent, nothing was too much bother. Food came promptly and was hot and delicious. Gluten free diet well catered, we always use Cote because they have a complete, separate gluten free menu, essential because I have Coeliac disease.
Lovely celebration for my mums birthday but ruined by rude staff.
We had a lovely meal and service as usual. We are disappointed that the cloth napkins have been replaced by paper.
Always look forward to eating at Cote Bury St Edmunds and again we were not disappointed . On this occasion we took advantage of the January on-line lunch offer, even better!.
Food was great as were the staff. We have eat in 3 different Cote restaurants and always had the same experience.
Love cote but wish they would change menu especially early bird menus more often
We had a lovely meal, 4 adults and a 2.5yr old toddler, food was as good as we have had there before.
My first time at Cote (evening meal)...a really lovey french brasserie concept with an authentically inspired menu. I really liked the smart and clean decor and seating style, it really gives the feeling of something of a reassured dining experience and our young waiter was really engaging. We were two couples and whilst our partners mains were as expected and really enjoyable; us fellas ordered a sirloin and a rib eye steak which we requested to be cooked medium and medium rare respectively. Disappointingly, my rib eye was very rare, almost bleu and my friends sirloin was just at medium rare and we didn’t have the time or energy to send them back as it would have impacted on the whole experience plus we were pushed for time. We paid the bill and left once the course was cleared - we would go back again but clearly my first experience was a little soured by our steak courses.
My first workplace in 2976 has been transformed into a great restaurant. Lovely food and pleasant, helpful staff
Excellent as always. Lovely food. Great service. My favourite restaurant in Bury.
First time eating at a Cote Brasserie and wow it didn’t disappoint!! Fabulous food, service and setting. There were so many things that I could have chosen from the extensive menu, looks like I will be visiting more often. Thank you.
The food was excellent as always and the service was also great. We like the way the menu changes on a monthly basis and is always interesting.
The staff were approachable, helpful and friendly. We shared a few starters along with 2 glasses of NV Blanc de Blanc Brut. It was a relaxed atmosphere, we did not feel rushed and the food was very tasty. Will definitely go back again.
We received a lovely friendly welcome, the food was delicious, we had Calamari and Prawn Gratinee, both of which were very nice. We enjoyed some lovely rose wine (Cuvee Laborie 2018). The service was very good and we enjoyed the food very much.
Spent two consecutive days having dinner excellent food and service, outstanding.
Always meets expectations and we took advantage of the January offer....thank you. Service excellent as always despite the restaurant being very busy. Second visit in a week!
Food excellent service excellent well done we always enjoy coming here as we know what to expect
As alaways super food and wine Staff excellent and friendly will be booking again soon
I took my mother there for lunch to spoil her before visiting my father in hospital. I am never disappointed with Côte in bury st Edmunds and today was no exception; in fact the service we received made it even more special! From the lovely girl who showed us to our table to Sam, the most delightful waiter, who looked after quite beautifully throughout our meal. It never feels like dining in a chain but more an independent brasserie where everything is done with love and care. The meal from the set menu was absolutely delicious and faultless. Thank you all!..especially Sam!
The food stands were excellent this evening. Both our starters we interesting & the pork main & haddock goujons contained lovely fresh fish & lightly covered with breadcrumbs. Just fantastic. The second time we have enjoyed a pre cinema meal during January. However, 2 dining nearby spent loads of time scrolling their mobiles, which we object to. Perhaps something Cote could discourage?
Lovely food and great service. One of our favourite restaurants in Bury. The gluten free menu is very extensive.
Food was great, wine was great. Service was awful. Restaurant was not busy but had trouble getting served as staff far too busy chatting amongst themselves rather than concentrating on customers. It will be a long while before we go back again.
An early morning visit to meet a friend to enjoy croissants and coffee. A relax No morning for both of us
6 of us all enjoyed our 2 course meal.No one had any complaints , we all ordered various meals and had an excellent evening
This visit we were treating a friend for whom this was a first experience with Cotes. We were not disappointed.... tasty food, a nice busy ambience, and served by a lovely waitress who was extremely pleasant (sorry we didn’t get her name). We will be back!
Thanks for the great time we had. We both really enjoyed the food, and we're looking forward to visiting again soon.
As always, gorgeous food and excellent service. A lovely night out for my son’s 18th birthday.
Lovely food. Lovely atmosphere. Quick service. Good value for money. Great choices.
Always great food and service. Delicious Chateau Briand and Kir Royal aperitif
Everything was perfectly paced. Our waiter Adam was more than accommodating and the food was exceptional. One of our party was late so we enjoyed great starters while we waited. And my main course of moules frites was delicious as always. Our waiter was engaging and friendly and did a fab job. The Bury restaurant is beautiful and the booths we sat in were so comfy.
Very good meal as always. Pleasant atmosphere with very helpful staff
Always dependable and great value. Friendly team but a little short-staffed. Eggs Benedict good but ham a little chewy in places and needed trimming.
Always excellent service , very professional and helpful staff in the Bury st Edmunds restaurant.
Food was very good would come back and recommend to others.
Great food, poor service, took so long to get asked if we wanted a dessert, which we did, that we ran out of time and had to leave
Very pleasant evening with good food, good service and pleasant environment!
Food excellent as usual! Great service. Non-alcoholic cocktails were lovely!
