Excellent food, excellent service, great atmosphere and good value for money

Consistently good bistro style French cooking and attentive service. For a pre theatre meal, I return here regularly, as it offers good value and the food is seasonal and imaginative.

Top food.Brilliant service.Polite staff.Extremely great place to eat.Very popular so book early so as not to be disappointedI give it five stars.

Great food, good value for money and service was excellent

Overall service was excellent friendly staff nice to see it so busy, would have given 6 stars but did have a long wait for main meal to come and when it did my wife’s was not very warm other two were hot. Starters and main courses favours excellent and nice touch of free drink for my birthday

Very good meal and service as ever although 12.5 % service a bit on the high side.

Having eaten at every other restaurant in bse, Cote is consistent with quality and staff performance, its our favourite restaurant which we use 2/3 times per month, we cannot fault it, Thank you to Geoff, Leyton and Katie for making each visit great Peter and Edith

Delicious lunch at Bury St. Edmunds Côte Brasserie. Excellent service. The sea bream was good as was the coupe noir dessert. Well spaced tables.

We booked a table for 18 for a retirement party. We booked well in advance, confirmed and reconfirmed our booking, pre-ordered our food, and still had to wait over an hour for our food. We were pretty much ignored for that hour, not even some complimentary bread or drinks. When the food eventually arrived it was not very hot. Very disappointing as I have eaten there before and had a lovely meal.

Came here two nights running both nights no duck available despite being told when booking that Monday eas deli ery day so there would be no problem but guess what Monday pm - no duck.

Great service. The breakfast is incredible value. The vegetarian breakfast was delicious. Best veggie sausages ever. Elegant surroundings with proper napkins! I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Always a pleasant atmosphere, good service & interesting menus. Typically we eat at Cote before moving on to the Abbeygate Cinema, which combined make for a lovey relaxed evening.

A very busy restaurant meant some waiting, and reminding of staff for drinks etc, however this didn’t detract from a very enjoyable evening. We were a large table of 9 so had plenty to chat about in between courses, the squid starter was nicely cooked with a dip on the side. The monkfish main was tasty, but a little salty as were the chips. The chocolate mousse for pud, was perfect, deliciously chocolatey without being over sweet.

Perfect mothers day breakfast and usual great service from Cote BSE. All the staff are attentive and the manager is a really nice guy. Very very busy today but the standards didnt drop.

Hors douvre great as usual set mother’s day meal Duck breast we were told only one left so I ordered mine medium not pink it came up as duck LEG very over cooked crucified, very hard to swallow as so dry and extremely salty, I do wish chefs would let the client salt their own food this is the second time I have had over cooked dried up duck leg, that is why I ordered breast otherwise would have ordered something else. This is my favourite restaurant normally and always busy but very disappointed with this mother’s day meal.

Food was good as always the rubarb cocktail was superb.

Really lovely. Some friends surprised me for my birthday, and each of us were given a lovely glass of Kir Royale which was such a thoughtful touch! Thank you so much. Food was delicious and everyone was so helpful and lovely. Set menu had so much choice and was amazing value!! Also lovely to see you so busy on a Tuesday evening. You’re obviously doing something right!

Love the warm Roquefort salad. Had a lovely meal and 2 gin and tonics which were so good. We both enjoyed the whole experience. Moule frites specially good.

Four for brunch including a child on Mothering Sunday. Everything excellent. Don't need to improve a thing. Very efficient food was good a thoroughly enjoyable experience for each one of us

As always it is an enjoyable experience when visiting and eating at Cote Bury St Edmunds. The staff are extremely professional and always greet you with a warm welcome and a smile.

Another lovely meal at Cote! Always a cheerful welcome and friendly, helpful staff. Have eaten here many times and never had cause to complain. Beautiful food.

Every thing about the restaurant awas absolutely terrific except for an over noisy barista at the lunchtime service. Otherwise no complaints at all. I am a regular customer.

Would recommend this restaurant as the staff are always very friendly creating a relaxing atmosphere & serve good food. Been a few times never been let down.

Had a lovely breakfast. Extremely good value especially when we were treated to a complimentary cocktail for booking on line! Our Golden wedding is on Saturday so this was a really nice way to start “ anniversary “ week. Will highly recommend!

Service was good. The GF Fish Permentier was a bit too salty. My husband's Beef bourginon was not great. There was only one cubicle available in the ladies’ toilet - the other two were permanently locked causing a long queue. One toilet in a restaurant your size simply isn’t enough. I had exactly the same experience a couple of weeks ago.

We had a friendly greeting and chose where to sit, we enjoyed a glass each of blanc de blanc which was lovely. I ordered Poulet Grille with a side order of creamed spinach and glazed carrots and my friend ordered Haddock Goujons, we shared the side order of vegetables, both meals were delicious, hot and very tasty, will definitely be back again soon.

We enjoyed once again a lovely evening. The service was excellent so too the food. The whole experience was a real treat and we shall look forward to re-visiting.
