Côte Bury St Edmunds

We had a lovely time. The staff were so friendly and attentive. Can’t fault anything. Our food was delicious and a lovely atmosphere to eat.

Simply great again , nothing to complain about for the 4th time, love this place.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was freshly cooked and presented well. The fish dishes were particularly good and the Sea Bass was delicious.

We had a really lovely evening in Cote Bury St Edmunds. The staff are friendly, attentive and come in pairs. We enjoyed the banter and the food. Excellent early evening menu and deal. Would highly recommend for any time of day.

Food consistently good and service equally good, all at an extremely fair price. Surroundings are attractive and all the staff were helpful. There was no sense of being rushed unlike at other locations

Great atmosphere, attentive staff, good food quality, we often go here for breakfast on a sunday, we have both traditional and vegtarian, both prepared well. The early evening meal booked before 7 oclock is very reasonable especially if your going to the cinema after

We took friends who had not been before and thy were impressed. l myself always find the whole experience from the minute you walk through the door to the end of service just perfect. I was a little saddened that we were not offered the free drink but understand as we booked a while ago.I didn't bring this up but it would have been nice to have been offered. I saw the offer on line but as we had already booked we didn't qualify. P.Wragg.

Lovely lunch with friends today. Restaurant very busy but staff still managed to give us good attention. Well done to all of you. The four of us made it very easy by all choosing the same main and dessert courses in order that we don’t suffer food envy!

We went for a pre theatre evening meal at 5.45pm. We had an excellent service and 2 free glasses of wine. The meal was delicious and exactly what we needed and all served promptly, would highly recommend it to our friends. Thank you for a great evening.

Super friendly staff Formula Breakfasts are excellent value for money. Never feel rushed to vacate after finishing the meal a very relaxed atmosphere. Favourite place to go for breakfast

Wonderful warm welcome! Delicious food although we did have to wait a while. This was do to it being very busy as the snow has melted and everyone was out at last after almost a week of deep snow . A free cocktail as well for all my guests because it was my birthday. Thank you Cote.x

Menu hasn't changed in ages ............ Still adding a 12% plus service charge to the bill. Sales orientated waitresses , although pleasant, trying to push side dishes and drinks etc Won't be back as family had same opinion

We had a late lunch on a Saturday and the restaurant was fairly quiet. The service was very good and the meal was delicious. We chose our mains and dessert from the 'Specials' menu; both the monkfish and the lamb shank were excellent and the raspberry crème brulee was lovely too. The ambience was relaxed and we were able to take our time.

Lovely meal as always and excellent staff, just the right balance between friendly and professional, couldn’t fault anything. Lots of nice restaurants in Bury but we always come back to this one👍

We had a great meal out with an old friend as always the food was great, the service excellent and the ambiance pleasant considering the snow kept many away so it was difficult to experiance the usual atmosphere but we still had an excellent evening

As usual the ambiance was good. We chose smoked salmon for a starter and coq au vin with vegetables for a main. Both were delicious as was the cheese platter.

Bury st Edmunds is a lovely town with lots of places to eat but Cote is my favourite.. it has a lovely atmosphere, day or night , really friendly and professional staff. The food is of a very high standard so worth every penny!

A very nice meal in a pleasant surrounding. The mussels were excellent. The service was attentive at all time without been intrusive. Will definitely go back

Good meal, although portion size different to Cambridge restaurant the week before. Staff very good dealt with an issue of delay to dessert very well. Atmosphere great. All good!

For the choice of menu, the quality of food and the standard of service. I cannot fault Cote Brasserie at Bury St Edmunds. This was not our first visit and neither will it be our last. Sincere thanks to all involved.

The service was good and the food delicious. As there was some kind of party going on in the restaurant, it was a little noisy.

lovely ambience, great food, we were really looked after by the attentive staff last night. We went to celebrate our daughter's new job, and were placed in a really nice booth, and given complimentary fizz. We really appreciated this nice touch. Our waiters were friendly and knowledgeable and a credit to the restaurant. Great choice of food, something for all our tastes, and it was cooked beautifully. Thank you for a lovely evening. We will definitely be coming back .10/10

We regularly eat out at Cote and Valantine's day was no exception as always we were greeted at the door with a smile and taken to our table our coats were taken care of and we were made to feel special. The meal was excellent and really great value for money in short great service, great meal and made to feel very welcome.

Lovely waiter and decent food, both had steak frites as going on somewhere but one of the steaks was over cooked. However when we told the waiter he happily took one off the bill. Reason for a 4 is ladies toilets not checked, no toilet roll anywhere so people using hand towels and toilets were blocked - not very hygienic for a restaurant.

Staff lovely service very good but i was very dissapointed. with the main meal cottage pie venison. was good mash very very poor presentation. Very bland .crumble not much crumble and apple not much either as it was a special valentine evening

Really enjoyed ourselves. When we arrived we were seen to immediately and able to choose our table. Staff were friendly and polite and service was prompt. Menus were wide and varied and especially liked the fact that there was a vegetarian menu rather than just a choice of maybe 2 things as in other restaurants. Food arrived hot and was delicious. Would not hesitate in coming back and recommending others.

Very good pre cinema supper.Special Chicken dish very tasty and Lamb shank tender. Service pleasant and friendly in spite it being busy. Hope to return soon .Film was good too!!

Come here a few times a year and it is always a lovely treat. Restaurant is very welcoming and the staff are more than helpful. It’s nice to actually go somewhere where the staff are attentive and happy.

Food was excellent. Cote does the best calamari I've ever tasted. Service a little slow after the starters were delivered. I'd recommend this outlet to anyone although my friend did say she'd eaten at a Cote elsewhere and it wasn't as good.

Had an excellent meal celebrating 3 birthdays. Service, attention and food all excellent. Will definitely re visit. We had the set 3 course meal. Excellent value
