lunch with 5 choir friends. ufortunately one friend was quite late and unknown to us our orders were put on hold until hers was ready which made it a rush to get to choir. the haddock (which four of us had) was delicious and also the pommes dauphinoise just a shame that we had to rush the finish. The whitebait was crisply tasty but trying it whist the others had creme caramel was NOT a good idea, Desserts are meant to be desserts!!
Rather more limited menu than normal eg no crumble for dessert and a less inspiring choice of mains on the basic set menu. Otherwise as good as ever with attentive staff and well presented food
Great food great staff. Splendid dining experience except for my constant irritation at the automatic 15% so-called optional service charge. Several of my friends refuse to come to Côte because of this.
great food and service, lovely atmosphere. So much to choose from, had difficulty making up my mind. staff very charming. dont give additional tip as service is included.
As usual, an excellent dining experience at the Bury St Edmunds branch of Cote. Our Pork Belly with calvados jus and Fish Parmentier were delicious topped off with Creme Caramels. These desserts are better than you would get in the whole of France. No need to worry about the future!!
I really can't fault this place, it is perfect for early evening pre cinema dinner, all at a very reasonable price for great food and great service!
Lovely food as always. Helpful staff who were friendly. The chef cooked a mushroom omelette especially for our veggie daughter which was delicious. Love the fish dishes and my husband reckons the steak is best in area.
It is always a pleasure and a joy to dine here. I would recommend that you initially try the early evening menu to get the feel of the place, but I am sure that you will back!
Welcoming staff, we turned up earlier than our booking time butvit was no problem, we were seated straight away, lovely atmosphere and food excellent as usual!!!
my visit to cote was very enjoyable and the staff were very pleasant and professional I would highly recommend a visit to cote in bury ST Edmunds
Always a good experience here! Staff are great. Food reliably good and best of all is the rewards programme. Look forward to the next time
On arrival met be very friendly staff. Shown to table. Well prepared menus. The food was served in good time and tasted lovely. Would recommend to others.
The online booking procedure was very efficient. We were welcomed warmly and given a convenient table for seven. The waitress was friendly but her grasp of English seemed limited. The food was well presented and tasty but one of the party with dietary problems was given a cheese omelette with no cheese! This was a second attempt as the first one contained vegetables. Maybe a misunderstanding in the kitchen. Overall we had a good experience and would come again.
Staff very polite, and a pleasant atmosphere. Menu is small but consistent. You know what you are getting at cote and it does not disappoint.
Staff great and food fanstastic, very clean and always busy but the staff always have plenty of time for you .just wish they did bitter its my husband favourite tipple
Cause is great staff are great although always changing. Manager Leyton is especially good. Altogether a very nice experience. We gave been going since they opened and will continue to do so.
Visited for Sunday lunch as it was our grandson's 13th birthday. Good food and polite and friendly service as always. The boys loved their steaks and the adults found the breton chicken delicious. Desserts were also up to the mark, particularly the CREPES WITH NOISETTE FILLING and baked bananas! Well done Cote.
Good food and good value. Service a little slow. Good food and good value. Service a little slow. Good food and good value. Service a little slow.
As usual we had excellent service and the food was delicious. It was a last minute booking for us. We always have a pleasant experience going to Cote Brasserie in Bury St Edmunds it’s one of our favourite restaurants.
The quality of service and food was excellent. The online booking system was very easy to use and quick. There was s genuine French-feel to the restaurant.
Great food and very efficient staff. We’ve never had a bad meal at Cote unlike other chain restaurants that we could mention! Always a good experience.
We enjoyed excellent value drink and food, attentive service and a good selection on the menu. Welcoming ambiance and good facilities. We hope to be back another time.
Never been to a Côte Restaurant before and both my wife and I were very impressed. Of course the quality of the food is all important and the choice, presentation and taste was excellent. Good attentive waiters but not overly so. First experience excellent; will place Côte high up on our list.
Really good service. Food was pretty good although my chicken was dry. Would like more wine choice and a better Sauvignon blanc. Cote is one of our “go to” places when meeting up with friends.
Amazing food and service and the gluten free menu is one of the best around, the staff are very attentive without being in your face, lovely dinning experience would definitely go again
Food divine‼️ Have never had a bad meal there..... service good, staff welcoming. Looking forward to the September specials if August was anything to go by👍
Food was excellent and reasonably priced. As usual the service was very professional and waiting times were reasonable. We enjoyed the visit and will come again.
An excellent meal, with a good varying menu choice at reasonable prices. Waiter service was very good, attentive and cheerfull. We will definately be returning again. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.
Another excellent meal, served with the usual efficiency. Restaurant was quite busy but the meal was served quickly. Icing on the cake was the gratis gin and tonic; a great incentive!
The food was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly, they answered questions. The restaurant was clean and tables cleared quickly. A very pleasant experience
Always a pleasure to eat at Cote Brasserie in Bury St Edmunds. The staff are helpful and polite the food is good, along with a pleasant atmosphere.
We had a wonderful time at Côte this evening with family and The service, staff and food was extremely good and we will definitely return.
Speedy service as going to the Theatre. On telling the staff they reacted so we were above to have a 2 course meal in the space an hour.
All the staff were very kind and helpful. I would recommend my friends to go to this restaurant for a special meal. Food was excellent
Met by friendly staff, food and service excellent. Will certainly be back next month well worth the money. Been to other restaraunts and paid similar prices but the food and service is not to your high standards.
Excellent food, I had mussels for starter and then the pork belly. Both delicious. We had an excellent and attentive waiter and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere set in a nice street. Free table water was a bonus.
Really enjoyed an early evening supper with friends after a trip[ to the cinema. Service and food excellent. We will definitely come back another day.
Enjoyable and good value for money lunch, certainly the best food at any 'chain' franchise. The Bury St Edmunds location is excellent and the service was very good (much better than I've experienced in the 2 London Cote venues that I've visited in the past couple of months). Would definitely recommend.
Another lovely meal. Every time the food and drink are always of the top quality.
Fab, we really enjoyed our meal, fantastic service, beautiful food, and good prices for the set menus, also got a free drink for my birthday! Xx
Tasty food served with a smile by efficient and friendly staff. Cote Bury never fails to please and has a good centre of town location.
Great Staff, always good food, getting very popular so make sure you book before you go. great for a pre cinema or theater meal, even better the breakfasts are the best
Disappointed. We were not told they could not accept card payments until we received the bill. I never carry cash so had to go and find a cash machine. Took the edge off another fine meal.
Food was lovely, the machines were down so they were accepting only cash which is fine, i was prepared. The service was ok but hard to get the attention of the waitresses if you needed anything, like a spoon or a sauce or an extra drink....And there were flies around which is distracting and annoying when eating out at a nice place.
Very good as usual. Excellent and friendly service. Fabulous food, starters & main courses just lovely. Super wine, Pouilly fuisse Saumaize Michelin 2016 good value. Will be back soon.
First class very polite and helpful service. And once again excellent food. The choice of menu is varied and very selective which covers most people's taste.very well done.👍
Once again an excellent meal served by friendly and efficient staff. Both the food and wine delicious and good value for money. A very popular restaurant in the town
Always great at Cote, Bury St Edmunds. Staff so friendly and food always excellent. Very good value for money too. It's our favourite chain restaurant.
Food good as was the ambiance, only negative I don’t like to be rushed, never good to have mains turn up whilst still eating your starters,
Fab lunch and friendly staff as always. Great value and very tasty. Good central position in Bury St Edmunds. Thoroughly recommended. Will be back soon!
