Côte Bury St Edmunds

A lovely atmosphere, the staff were attentive but not annoying. The food is always delicious. One of my favourite restaurants in Bury.

Special evening with a variety of meals and choices served well

Had to wait to be shown our prebooked table and some confusion from Manager who had not reserved a table for us. Food always excellent and staff a joy.

Nice atmosphere without being too noisy ; good value good service and very good food . Wine list would be improved by choice of half bottles.

Thank you very much for making my birthday special. Only one tiny criticism we had to wait a while to pay our bill as the waitress was managing the payment of a bill from a large table who were all paying separately! Otherwise everything was perfect.

Service with a smile goes a long way and they get the importance at Côte! Food was really nice. An overall great experience!

We patronise this excellent restaurant at least once monthly and enjoy the friendly and relaxed ambience, tasty food, varied menu and efficient service.

my wife and I visited the restaurant after a visit to the cinema which is just around the corner. We chose the set "early bird" menu which we thought very good value. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty, it was bought to the table and served by staff that couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. All in all a great dining experience and we'll be returning very soon.

As usual we enjoyed a superb meal and commented to our charming young waiter that we could be eating in Paris!! Wonderful value for money and a joyful experience for us all. Keep up the good work Cote. Loved the complimentary cocktail - will be trying this one at home. Linda, John and Alison

Very good experience overall , tasty well prepared and presented food at a very good price in a pleasant environment.

Ribeye as tough as leather - perhaps not defrosted. However manager didn’t charge for it and offered a free desert so good customer service in that regard.

We met some dear friends for lunch in Cote in Bury St Edmunds. We had a lovely relaxing time chatting, eating delicious food and drinking nice wine. The staff were very attentive. Highly recommended!

This was a family visit, with one very young child and a baby . + 4 adults. We were looked after very well and our food was very good . Service was a little slow but it was a very busy day so no problem. This is One of our favourite restaurant in Bury st Edmunds!

Really pleasant surroundings with very attentive staff. Food arrived promptly and was well presented and plenty of it. We had the onion soup and calamaris for starters. Both were excellent. For main we had ribeye steak (blue) and the pan fried salmon (not blue...). Again well presented and plenty of sides. And for desert it was creme brûlée and a chocolate mousse.... so full and so satisfied. Our favourite Resturant.

Enjoyable birthday celebration at Cote. Food is to a good classic French brasserie standard (better than some Parisian restaurants I have visited!). My Poulet Grille was a bit cool, otherwise all as OK.

Alex the manager was very welcoming and professional. He and his staff were attentive and polite and looked after us perfectly. We could not fault the staff and the service .

Another excellent lunch for five people at Cote in Bury St Edmunds. We all agreed that the food was superb - as always. Our waitress, Blanka, was friendly and efficient. It's a shame that she will not be with you for much longer. We will be back!

Lovely birthday lunch kick started by the 2 Kir Royales brought on a tray by the thoughtful Maitre D'. Your chain of restaurants strike the perfect balance enhanced by friendly staff as well as the obvious menu selection. Sea food linguine to die for and the French Onion soup ain't bad either.

Whilst a very pleasant evening and all the courses were enjoyed aprt from one. My mushroom rissotto did not come up to past standards I have previously enjoyed. It was a bit rice puddingish. Had some flavour . I am not sure if it had been made in large batch and had been kept warm. You can do better.

We have been here a few times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The staff and service is very good. However, this time we were let down by the coffee, the cappuccino was far too hot with no froth which we sent back, the second coffee arrived with apologies but there was hardly any difference to the coffee we sent back. Perhaps some barista training is required. This would not prevent us from revisiting the restaurant again.
