Pleasant atmosphere. Helpful staff. Generally good food but my steak was very tough.

Another relaxing & enjoyable pre cinema diner at Cote. The food was slightly below their very best, but the Lagarde wine good value. Sue & John

Cannot fault anything, starting with a birthday treat, followed by an excellent meal with our friends.

I would normally rate higher as I love Cote. However on the last 2 occasions, my experience was disappointing. Slow table service being the first issue and overcooked food on my latest visit Such a shame as the atmosphere is lovely and I love the breakfast vegetarian menu! I think the issues are due to understaffing

A perfect place for supper after a movie at the Abbeygate cinema. Perfect at all levels and particularly the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. Always a pleasure

We were celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary with friends from America.The other couple with us were also celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The whole Cote experience was wonderful from the atmosphere to the quality of the food to the service with a smile. We think for a few seconds of visiting other eateries in Bury but always decide on Cotes for that special occasion. It’s a team thing and all members of Staff should be proud. One thing I would have liked to know and that is the name of lovely young lady who served us - she was outstanding

An enjoyable evening with good food and lively, bright atmosphere.

We were sat in a quiet area, as requested, but it wasn't long before it all filled up and the noise level increased. All good otherwise.

Normally good but the service was very slow. Took one hour to get our main course.

Food not up to usual standard. Over reduced sauces and only 3 pieces of meat in a venison pie. All the staff including the manager made no effort to get people seated despite staff hanging around behind the bar. During the time we were there, everyone that came in had to stand like a lemon at the entrance for several minutes until someone could be bothered to welcome them. Disappointing.

We were most impressed by the whole experience - the waiting staff were terrific and the food was magnificent. The whole place was alive with happiness.

Breakfast was very good. Food was well prepared and fresh.
