Good friendly service. The menu has an interesting choice of dishes and is reasonably priced.

couldn't fault food and service but think 12.5% on drink as well as food is a tall ask. I guess we should have reduced our service charge as optional but we feel that £27 on £200 is a bit too large.

A very busy Boxing Day lunchtime, but with an exceptional team providing first class food and service in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The scallop and black pudding 'special' main course was an outstanding dish, and the rest of the meal of the usual high standard despite the numbers of diners being served. Server Hannah was a pefect balance of friendliness and professionalism, and the Duty Manager quietly but very effectively making sure that everything was as it should be.

The food was good so was the service. We will certainly go again. Cote is one of the best restaurants in Bury St Edmunds

A repeat of yesterday . Restaurant very busy .We shared the Calamari ,Chicken with fries for my guest , salmon for myself. We shared the ice cream and chocolate sauce. An enjoyable meal for us both .

as always here, great food, service and staff, we do travel around the east of England quit a lot, but for my partner, Cote in Bury ST Edmonds has always been her favourite place to dine!!

We thought the food was good. However the occasion was spoiled by the service. We had pre ordered as there were nine of us. Nobody seemed to look after our table. Once met at the door and shown our table nobody seemed to attend to us. After ten minutes we had to ask for the drinks menu. One of our party had asked for two starters to be served together with everybody else's main course. She then got one as a starter. The situation was remedied when we again brought it to staff's attention. When we got the main courses, one was missing, again we had to alert the staff. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. We were tempted to withhold the gratuity but didn't. Overall not a good experience.

Breton chicken was tasty but more sauce would have improved it as a little dry. Service was good and server was extremely efficient and caring.

A brilliant evening and very well organised. We had a table of 9 and had pre ordered. The waiter knew who had ordered what and once he had worked out who was who he didn’t ask again! Our meals arrived to the right places. The food was superb and the service was even better. Considering it was the last Saturday before Christmas and the poor staff had been on the go all day, the service was still of an excellent standard.

It was our first visit to Cote. We had the most charming young waiter and when I mentioned that it was my husbands 80th birthday they really spoilt him. They gave him a glass of prosecco and an extra special dessert. The waiter also offered to sing happy birthday to him and took a photograph of us. Thank you Cote for a very special lunch. We will be back soon.

Food was good, service was average. We had to ask twice for a beer and then was given a cider by mistake and had to ask twice for another jug of water for the table. The “optional” service charge was added already to the card payment machine with no option to accept or decline.

Cote is always very reliable, especially the Bury branch. Wonderfully friendly staff, a comfortable dining room, and the best duck confit I've found. Top marks.

We went for breakfast, for the first time . We knew that there lunch and dinner food was fabulous but we hadn’t experienced the breakfast before. It was all freshly cooked and fantastic. Also it was fantastic quality and value. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you

Having to wait for 30 minutes for the starter and at least 40 minutes for the main course was unacceptable especially for 6 year old. Very disappointing as the family had driven up from London for the lunch
