Visited Friday evening at Bury St Edmunds. The service was very good with a smashing waiter. The food was enjoyable however as a vegetarian I feel that a little more thought could go into the flavour of the dish I had. The presentation was not the same which is on your website so this is a little misleading. There are more vegetarian options however still feeling that more choice and creativity would not go a miss. The creme brulee was an absolute delight and very much enjoyed.

Best meal ever, and I and my family eat at this restaurant quite a lot.

We visited as an evening with friends and were not disappointed. The food was great as usual and the service from Sam was enjoyed by most ... maybe needs to try a little less and choose his audience a bit better for the ‘coffee’ trick!! We will return.

A pleasant lunch with my daughter today. The menu, particularly the starters, had good variety and were all tempting. We both had the grilled chicken and it and the way the potatoes were cooked was very tasty. The waitress was charming and also the manageress who stopped to chat with us.

Cote rarely disappoints; excellent food, service, atmosphere and price means that we return there over and over again. But recently, we have had problems with our favourite dessert, the creme caramel. On THREE successive occasions, we have sent the dessert back; the offering being seriously overcooked and lacking the smoothness expected

As always the food is excellent and there is a warm and inviting atmosphere with the muzak not too loud. The service is good but there are simply not enough staff to cope with lunchtime diners. There is a wait to be seated although from then on the staff coped extremely well with the orders. It is certainly excellent value for money. I regularly dine here and enjoy it each time.

I brought some guests to Cotes B in Bury St Edmunds in December last year, and we had a very enjoyable evening. The staff were all very helpful and attentive, and our food arrived after a very short wait, and it was all delicious and was attractively presented. The special offers of two or three courses for a fixed price, unfortunately did not apply at weekends, so I will tend to visit again during the week.

Another excellent meal at Cote, thoroughly enjoyed by all six diners including two youngsters who can be difficult to please. So sorry that your waitress, Blanka, will be leaving you soon to have her baby. She has served us several times in the last year and has always been efficient and friendly.

We love Cote! Five star ambience, delicious food, excellent well trained staff and amazing value for money. Must be the most popular place in a foodie town full of restaurants!

Fantastic members of staff really helpful, need to work on your allergies list our son is allergic to milk. If you could do more vegan stuff that would help us because they do not hold any dairy in the food

The meal was wonderful , the service was as best as could be seeing management didn't put enough staff on for the day , our waitress was running around in circles bless her, she as all the staff done an excellent job under the circumstances, would come back again, but note for management , supply and demand, put more staff on new years day and next year you will not have to turn away customers .

We paid our second visit to the restaurant today as a family and absolutely loved it once more. A warm and professional welcome, attentive but not intrusive service and the food was wonderful. The menu is extensive without being over complicated and the set menus provide excellent value without losing out on quality. Thank you again to the staff here, we will be back.

Was a great night we had the menu with the wine pairing but felt the the food with each serving didn’t leave us enough time to enjoy our wine before the next plate and wine was brought to o table we did enjoy it though

Although the restaurant was lovely, food was good, the service was very slow. We never got the chance to order extra drinks or dessert and gave up waiting for our main course plates to be cleared.. By the time we finally got our bill we had been there for nearly 2 hours. We ended up passing a McDonalds in the way back to the car park and bought coffee and ice cream there instead! It’s a shame about the slow service as otherwise we would have ordered more food and drinks at the restaurant.

Lunch ! After Christmas Great to have a meal I hadn’t cooked . Delicious

We were first put on a table for 4 as a party of 6, with the table laid out for 6. When we went to take our seat, there was not enough chairs, which I had to point out to staff, so I had to stand whilst a chair was fetched. We were subsequently moved to an appropriately sized table. Sirloin steak was served stone cold. This was removed from the bill however, the member of the party (who we were meeting for the 1st time) had to sit without food whilst we began our mains and awaited their main to be recooked. As a result the individual was still eating whilst everyone had finished. It was awkward for everyone at the table. Service was incredibly slow. The quality of all the dishes was nowhere near what it usually is, or what it should be. No free cocktail offered in December for email newsletter. It was my treat to my family and cost me over £100. It was absolutely not worth it. I feel embarrassed for taking my family there as a treat. As a result I will not be going back to Cote.

Excellent choice, delicious meal, excellent value, overall very impressed, top class service!

We love your restaurant, have been coming here for years. We had the New Years Eve menu for lunch today. Crab mayonnaise and the fillet steak, my partner had creme caramel. All delicious. If I had one criticism, it would be that even though I didn’t have a dessert we still had to pay for it. I couldn’t of eaten one, too full. I would also like to add, your staff are always so charming and professional, really make a difference.
