Lovely place for a relaxed meal which can be as small or as large as you wish with an excellent menu choice. Usually I would give the food 5 stars, but not quite as perfect as usual last evening - still good though. Waiting staff as charming as always.

Food was delicious and well presented, although salad in a deep bowl a bit awkward, deserts yummy, my dad wasn’t asked if he wanted to pay the full service charge or not and it was added automatically which caused a bit of confusion. Otherwise, staff very attentive and great service.

Pleasant helpful staff and the food was excellent. We also enjoyed our free cocktails.

This restaurant never fails to please. Despite it being a Saturday evening, and the restaurant was pretty much full when we arrived, the service was excellent. Our food was served promptly and was to the usual reliable standard that we have come to expect from Cote, Bury St Edmunds. Our waiter was charming and as ever we much enjoyed our visit. Thank you!

We were first timers, and it wont be our last ! welcoming and efficient, atmosphere buzzing even though an early Wednesday evening, food came out promptly with attentive but not overbearing service, food gorgeous, mouthwatering flavours to savour. What more could you want !

We went in without a reservation but were made to feel very welcome and had a lovely meal.

Busy Friday night. Quite noisy and a little draughty near the door. Service was good and waiter was pleasant and helpful.

Our first visit, organised a birthday party for 16 doggy walking friends a couple of whom had been before & were very enthusiastic that we had chosen The Cote. I can see why, we had a delightful evening, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were friendly, efficient & unobtrusive. The food was excellent, beautiful wholesome flavours & very nicely presented. With our size of party we sampled most of what was offered, all I can say, empty plates all round, from starters to puddings, a lot of well satisfied diners. There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the evening with a buzz of lots of animated people talking, laughing & thoroughly enjoying themselves, what a pleasure. Will we be back, you bet we will

We chose mussels, always delicious It was Avery windy day , and this makes people louder for some reason!! So as the restaurant was was busy and the noise level higher. But still a great meal .

We had dinner at the Bury St Edmunds’ Côte last night before heading to the theatre. All 4 of us had delicious meals which were piping hot. The service was excellent - the waiters were attentive and friendly. We didn’t feel rushed, and also never felt anxious about being at the theatre on time, which was a real achievement for the restaurant. We use this restaurant a lot, and will definitely continue to do so.

Considering how busy it was today all the staff were very friendly and polite and there was no wait for food! The food was delicious too.
