food was up to standard a little noisy but not their fault we just felt a little rushed the main course came a little to quickly we had not finished our garlic bread and not much time to savour it.will not put us off see you soon
Competent and charming service. Each of the 4 members of our party agreed that they enjoyed their choice of meal enormously so I rate that as a major success!
Good food at a reasonable price, the staff were efficient and attentive. The setting in Quakers Friars is good, on a warm day like yesterday the front doors are folded back making it light and airy.
good meal and excellent service.Very good choice of dishes on both starters, mains and dessert menus. Service was first class in respect of speed and knowledge.
Fantastic food and service. A really enjoyable experience. We had the veal escalope which was superb and were served by Vera who was friendly, helpful and efficient.
Yesterday three of us enjoyed excellent service, meals, drinks and wine in a blissfully non-music environment at Côte Brasserie - Bristol Quakers Friars. We all agreed we would return.
We went to Cote for a birthday celebration and we all had a lovely evening, staff couldn't do enough for us and we will definitely return.
Excellent food and not too expensive drinks. A delicious meal and very good value for money. The service was second to none. Will definitely return.
Another meal in this newly situated restaurant. Good choice of both food and wines. Nice environment. Service was friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit!
3 of us dining for breakfast. Drinks and food were excellent. Service attentive and efficient. This is becoming one of our favourite regular places for eating out.
This was our first visit to the Quakers Friars Cote and we enjoyed it very much. It is very convenient for us as we live in Bath but visit Bristoloften. The Cote in Clifton is very good but Quakers Friars is conveniently near the Bus Station and our bus home!
Very good disappointed the set menu does not operate on Saturday lunch times staff very helpful and pleasant. Will go again probably mid week as set menus are excellent value
we had great service from Very helpful and friendly staff. The food was lovely with a good range of options and at a reasonable price.
We were a party of 7 and our birthday celebration was started off with a complementary glass of fizz. Great choice of food, excellent attentive staff-nothing too much trouble for them. Thank you.
Good food. Great staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Just what is needed to relax and enjoy a catch up with friends. Will be making this a regular occurrence.
Another delicious lunch at Cote with the fish cooked to perfection. The 2/3 course deal is excellent value; very pleasant service. We look forward to returning
Very good food and service, shame the weekday menu not available on Saturdays. Service very quick and friendly. This restaurant is well worth a visit.
Food very disappointing, Had to ask for free gift of prosecco , had to prove I had. Voucher which was very embarrassing. Main course arrived before starter. Starter madly over cooked when it did arrive. Waitresses did their best.
Great service and tasty food. Joined the loyalty scheme and got a complimentary bottle of wine. Lovely to sit outdoors too. We ate a la carte, but there were also great value 2 course set meals.
Enjoyed a 3 course meal with friends celebrating several birthdays. The service was warm and friendly and food was of a high standard in terms of presentation / quality and taste. All 5 of enjoyed the evening and said we will be back
Lovely meal with good selection of gluten free options. Courteous, attentive staff. A very enjoyable lunch with my sisters. We will most certainly be back.
Excellent. Lovely ambience helpful attentive staff. Lovely food. Very good value. Like the fact that you are never hurried to finish up and leave. Will continue recommending to my friends
Always enjoy going to cotes. Nice location and the staff are friendly and professional. There was a bit of a mix up with the waitress when we told her we were due a complimentary bottle of wine but was quickly resolved. Food good as always.
Very professional, friendly and attentive staff, great food, will definitely visit Cote Quakers Friars again. Much better than the Cote in Covent Garden! Highly recommended.
very good service, and the choice of menu excellent. The flatbread with camembert was slightly overcooked, but everything else was to our liking. We will return. thank you
Great service , had to wait for us!!!! Food really good and free wine what can I say been to Soho and Bristol always good
We had a great evening but waht made it so specail were the staff, who were outstanding picking up that it was my husband's birthday and doing a special Happy Birthday plate with his desert. They then refunded one of our Kia Royale's as a birthday gift to him. Way and beyond especially as we hadn't mentioned anything before booking. Would highly recommend.
This was my first visit to the newly opened Cote at Quakers Friars in Bristol The service was slick and professional and the food was superb - the whole experience felt very French!
A very relaxed atmosphere and a really well presented meal. The food was cooked to our liking. We found the price very competitive and we were presented with a very varied menu. Also gluten free diets are well provided for.
Six of us enjoyed the set menu, 3 courses for £12.95. Excellent value as the food was very nice, not huge portions but for the price, plenty. Staff were very pleasant and attentive, it was early on a Wednesday and pretty quiet so to be expected. Overall we enjoyed our visit very much.
Very pleasant indeed, just the right amount of interaction with the staff, which enabled us to have lovely lunch break with friends. The food was also good and just enough for a light lunch. In all very nice (hate that word but just how I feel) Thanks very much Joy
Impressed by the food. I highly recommend the cauliflower soup, calamari, lamb chops and cod gourjons. Great service and atmosphere. Also child-friendly which is always a bonus.
Simply fantastic! Warm, welcoming and friendly, with scrumptious food! I highly recommend the French Onion Soup and the Pork Belly! Can't wait to visit again!
Another excellent lunch with well cooked, very tasty food. Attentive, friendly service amidst a good ambience. A good meeting point to catch up with friends after a mornings shopping.
Good food an pleasant service. The menu is quite extensive with a good choice of standard French fare. Would happily return and recommend to others.
Delicious food, excellent service, friendly staff, good price, nice decor and atmosphere. Only down side was napkins left lint on our black trousers, not a big issue unless you were in your finery for the evening.
Food was fantastic, service excellent. Staff very friendly. Did not have to wait too long between courses. Good value for money. The pork belly melted in the mouth. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
Had a great time sat outside in the sunshine. The service was very good and the food even better. We will definately be coming back.
Great food, and great service, the waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. It was wonderful eating outside, the sun was shining which added to the relaxed ambience.
I love Cote! However, my breakfast today was just not the usual standard, my Eggs Royale could have been hotter, the poached eggs were not hot and I know I should have returned it but my husband was enjoying his Full English and it would have meant he would have finished before mine was returned. The staff were great and were very sympathetic to my mini complaint. Coffee and juice great.
Excellent food and service. Will definitely visit again. Lovely location and views of the square. Having been a regular at Exeter Cote the service is definitely on par with them.
Excellent! Good food. Good value for money. Pleasant surroundings. Good service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Already looking forward to a second visit.
Great service, nice food and lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend Cote Bristol Quakers Friars and Clifton Village. The breakfast deals are good value too - fabulous.
Food was good. Service was a little on the slow side for people who only have limited time over lunch. I did not like the fact that they automatically applied an optional gratuity to the bill.
There was a good choice of all courses on the new set menu at a reasonable price. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Excellent service and food! Very attentive and efficient staff. Wonderful menu with large number of choices. Good value with set courses. Lovely setting in Quakers Friars.
we really enjoyed our evening at cote. The food was lovely and beautifully presented. The staff are Very friendly and helpful. The new Quaker Friars restaurant is nicely decorated and adds much to the experience.
First visit to Cote Brasserie . Great welcome when we arrived table very nice great to have mirrors both of us had view of restaurant. Food was wonderful. Wine choice very good . All staff very polite and friendly
Service excellent, steak delicious, overall experience very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place - it was a lovely and reasonably priced lunch! Great stuff.
Came for the second time, bringing my husband who hadn't been before. All staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The food was served promptly, was piping hot and tasted amazing. We had a lovely evening and really couldn't fault anything. We will definitely be back sometime soon.
