Although the restaurant was extremely busy at lunch time today, the waitress Zazu was first class in her approach to everything including service and hospitality.

Overall very good, only negative was that the avocado was hard in the tomato salad. Food very good quality but would be nice to have a little more quantity especially for the main course. Service very good as always.

Sat outside in th sunshine, good to have that option. Attentive waitress, smiling and helpful. Good value lunch, nothing pretentious, exactly as described. What's not to like!?

It was great to be sitting outside in your new space! Food good as always! Had never had al dente asparagus!! It was a bit odd, a strange texture.

Fantastic food good service. Would definitely recommend if you like good food. Very good location in bristol. Would be ideal for people who like decent food.

I received an excellent meal. The choice of menu was first class but i took advantage of choosing from the weekday set menu , which was superb.

Enjoyed the experience. Staff very pleasant & attentive but not over the top. All four of us had excellent food & was well presented. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic service staff very attentive without being intrusive. Food excellent! Location great for early evening meal sun shining at window seat. Lovely terrace setting! 10th Anninversary menu well worth a visit.

Poorly cooked food asparagus burnt to a crisp. Waiting staff good but chefs awful . Been to others which are very good . Avoid this restaurant and go elsewhere .

Food was exceptional and the table we had was perfect as the sliding doors were open and we sat just inside. Service quick and very friendly.

I always love Cote. Great service and great food, especially as a coeliac. I get more choice here than in most places. Recommend to anyone.

Good value menu, great food, excellent service, good surroundings and thankfully no muzak. Highly recommended and I have no hesitation in returning to this and other Côtes.

Delicious food! We were celebrating a wedding anniversary. It was a little empty earlier on in the evening but the atmosphere picked up later on.

We had a very enjoyable meal in quiet and comfortable surroundings. This enabled us to eat and chat in a relaxed environment with the friends we were with

This is third time me and my partner have been to this restaurant, we try and always have something different from the menu each time. Every time we have been we have not been disappointed, the food and service is great! We shall be returning at some point.

Our steaks arrived which were not hot. All returned and dealt with in a professional manner, also deducting our drinks from the bill. Meal as usual very enjoyable. Waiting staff very efficient.

The food was excellent and I cannot fault it. I was disappointed with the service, which was slow and lacking enthusiasm, despite the restaurant not being all that busy.

I've been to this restaurant before and it's always consistently good. From the moment I entered to the moment I left, the friendliness of the staff never falters. The set menus are exceptionally good value and the food is always excellent.

Food very good, service excellent. Waitress was very helpful when we asked for slight changes to the food we ordered. All in all a very good experience.

The food was very good and well priced. Service was excellent too. Just seemed lacking a bit of atmosphere as for a Friday night it was a bit quiet.

Excellent menu choice, especially GF choices. Food fresh and hot, nicely presented and decent portion sizes. Very good, friendly service and a choice of indoor or outdoor seating.

I received an excellent meal today,the service was first class the choice of food on both the a-la- carte and set menu was great. I was also impressed with the ease of paying my bill.

First time venturing to a Cote outside London and this one is no disappointment. The staff is very attentive and friendly as well as very accommodating towards children. The menu is of course the same as other Cote restaurants I'm used to and as consistent in quality.

Went at lunch time and, as always, good menu choices, excellent taste, value for money with great service. Would certainly go again and highly recommend.

Good food and customer service.. They were very helpful and efficient. The food was well cooked and presented. I would recommend a visit for lunch or a special occasion.

The Food was really good and it also had a separate vegetarian menu with a good selection on all courses including vegetarian wine. staff excellent and made you feel welcome. It was clean and tidy. I would definitely go back again

Been here a few times always had lovely service and foods great;). No delays on food. Will definitely return and try other dishes. Price was reasonable

The staff were very welcoming and efficient and, when they discovered it was our anniversary, they brought us a complimentary glass of bubbly - most unexpected and very much appreciated. Thank you.

The experience at lunch time today was first class, i ordered from both the set menu and a la carte menus, and found both to be excellent value for money.

The restaurant is in a nice location with lovely big windows. We had a seat next to the window for breakfast. The service was good; we were a couple, but larger groups with children and couples with babies also came and everyone seemed to be enjoying the space. I had a vegetarian breakfast and I found it a strange combination of food - the food I received was what had been described on the menu, but it wasn't as I'd pictured it. Next time I would stick with the granola and some pancakes. It said there was avocado and tomatoes, and I'd assumed this would be on toast, but it was actually half a sliced avocado, and a fried tomato. The rest of the breakfast included sauteed spinach, eggs and a vegetarian sausage. It just seemed an odd combination. My partner had the non-vegetarian cooked breakfast and enjoyed that.

The service and staff were excellent and food was very good too. Easy to book on line and good choice of seating at the table.

Very ood food with a nice pleasant atmosphere :) the only down side was the service was quite slow and waited a long time for the bill and to pay!

No bread with soup you have to pay?! 12.5% service charge on a table for two?! Food lovely but these two pints put me off. Also waitress inexperienced and didn't know a soup spoon fro a dessert spoon which was disappointing.

Arrived at 1700hrs all front glass doors were open fully, we were led to 6 placing table by a very friendly young lady ,who quickly supplied us with menus the menus were being blown off the table by wind blowing thro, open doors ,we asked if doors could be shut but she said because diners were eating outside they could not but would when they finished dining , we moved to a more sheltered table but was advised by same that it was reserved although there was no indication of this. we then moved to another table that was more sheltered, once settled things flowed a lot smoother, waiting was slick and food very good .

Always excellent food and service. As a coeliac I am catered for really well with a wide menu choice and a good understanding of how important it is to take care with the food. Great restaurant and a good night out.

Always have a good experience at Cote. The staff are always polite and friendly. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and surroundings . Will be back soon as the food is superb.

Great food, nice staff. Good evening for a grey Monday. Somewhat generic but still good, wine a bit too pricey for their bracket but attentive staff and decent food.

A lovely location on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Very friendly welcome asked where we would like to sit.We both had the duck breast, which was cooked to perfection,veg was cooked well.My husband's strawberry crepe he said was to die for Overall excellent .

Lovely food, excellent wine and cheerful happy service...well done! It also helped that it was a fine sunny day and we were able to take advantage of the outside seating...all very pleasant.

Lovely restaurant in a very good position. Manager not very helpful about special offer regarding booking online but it was sorted. Meal good but desserts arrived separately and we were charged for 2 extra desserts on the bill - which was of course sorted out with no problem. Waitresses extremely nice and helpful and will go again but feel overall there are small niggley problems that could be easily sorted.

The staff and service were top rate as usual. My partner's calamari followed by roast duck breast was was perfect.I was however a bit disappointed prawn gratinée starter and with the the escalope De Veau which was a little bland and with no accompaniment, the side dish of the green beans were not al denti but virtually raw. We love the Quakers Friars Cote Brasserie and will return again, but will choose alternative options.

Friendly, efficient service and excellent choice on menu. Wine also a good price. Food arrived promptly and hot. Seating outside busy on a warm evening.

Easy to book on line. Good welcome on arrival. Good attentive service and quality of food was superb. Optional service charge at 12.5% was easy to miss on the bill but great experience.

Lovely big windows at the front of the restaurant. Attentitive service - we felt looked after. New vegetarian things on the menu - a nice change.

Enjoyable food, but service needs to be worked on. Irritating to be interrupted as we had to give a simple food order twice, the explanation was that the first order was taken by a trainee. Why wasnt he supervised? Also, a request for the crepes to be served on a flat plate rather than the current fashion of a deeper bowl, where the cutlery slides in to it was met with 'I'll try ' .... and failed. Simple request, no effort to meet it. Could do better.

Lunch for the four of us was excellent; prompt service; good food and a relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back inn the game future. Thanks to all the staff.
