We had a lovely meal from the August set menu. Great value for money. We really enjoyed our evening. Staff there were very friendly too.

We love this restaurant, had a fab meal here last night for my husband's birthday. Food and service both excellent, definitely one of our favourites.

On the whole the experience was good with excellent table service and prompt attention. I would have given top marks if the food was delivered more promptly (45 minutes for the starter) and some of the mains a bit dry from hanging around. Will still go again as it's one of my favourite places but hope for a better outcome.

This restaurant offers great service, great food. There is lots of seating space inside and outside. Outside area is shaded and heated. Smoking was allowed outside. Would recommend to everyone.

The service, layout of restaurant , and quality of food was perfect. The perfect venue for myself and friend, we were not rushed in any way enabling us to rest and savour our food between courses, we were not even hassled for the bill. We will definitely return and recommend this restaurant.

As always good food lovely atmosphere helpful friendly staff. Absolutely my favourite place to meet up with friends for a meal which is generally at lunch time.

Lucky with the weather so we sat outside. Once again the food was super & perfectly served & the wine well chilled. The staff here are amazing & makes the experience special.

Wait for food unacceptable despite being given slice of complimentary bread. Always had very good service before. Not good when you have other commitments to.

A very pleasant meal. The waiting staff were very good, even if the service was just a little slow. It was perhaps unfortunate that we were a bit tight for time. We shall certainly come again sometime!

We entered Cote after 9pm, the waitresses were very nice and patient. No one rushed us for ordering from the start to the end. Decent atmosphere, delicious food, brilliant staff!

I had a fabulous 3 course set menu, the staff were all lovely and very efficient.

Was an enjoyable and pleasant dining. The Fixed prix Menu could be updated more regularly. Wasn’t busy so we had a quick and friendly service

On this occasion we visited Cote Quakers Friars because I had been sent a voucher after a previous poor experience. This time it was excellent. We were able to take advantage of the complimentary cocktail which much enhanced the experience. The food (sea bass with fennel and champagne sauce) was superb and confirmed my view that the à la carte menu is much superior to the fixed price. I still think that it would be sensible to combine the two price fixe menus and offer smaller and simpler plates for a lower price but I will go again and hope that I can have an experience from the fixed price tgat is equivalent to the excellent experience yesterday! The service was very good too.

Starter unfortunately took almost an hour to come. We were eventually told there was a backlog of orders in the kitchen and ours would be two minutes, still took a further 20 + minutes to come.

Another great evening at Cote. Tried the more expensive set menu and was really impressed with the quality of food. Good value for money. The staff are friendly and efficient and the setting is lovely especially in the summer when you can sit outside in the square.

We had a lovely lunch and the service was great. Deffinatly will book this restaurant again, loved the seafood pasta, and the melon, will do 3 courses next time.

The food was good except for the desserts (Mousse au Chocolat and Peach Crumble) which were not as good as they should have been. The waitress was very pleasant.

Cant wait for the new monthly set menu, always a brilliant choice of starter, main and dessert menus all swilled down with a delicious glass of wine.

Food as always perfect - especially the Tuna Carpaccio- my families favourite restaurant in Bristol, keep it up and the free cocktail offers are always a bonus

We visited this restaurant whilst my niece was staying with me from Bordeaux. The staff, always friendly and welcoming, were very apologetic for not having any seabass ( which we all had decided upon!) and we were offered a complimentary drink, which we much enjoyed. We did choose the July offer of roast cod..which was delicious. We look forward to seeing the August specials! Thank you for making the evening special

Once again a very enjoyable experience. Food and service were excellent. Good choice of dishes. The early menu is terrific, we'll definitely be back to try out more dishes.

Today i enjoyed a first class three course set price menu, there was a great choice of starter, main, and dessert options all washed down with a lovely coffee.

Cote always provides efficient service and delicious food. Cote in Bristol is a pleasant airey building with helpful staff. I often go to Cote in different cities because you can rely on the quality of the food, service and ambience.

We were a Party of 6 and really enjoyed our visit. Plenty of choice and option of set menus. Food tasty and presented well. Good value for money, good service and nice location.

The food was very good, service was excellent- some of the best in Bristol. The only thing which lets it down is that smoking is permitted in the relatively small outside area. Tables are close together and with the parasol up, people smoking made it really unpleasant. Other than that, fantastic, and a bargain if you have the set 2/3 course set menu.

During this hot weather it is nice to be able to eat al fresco, this is possible at Cote Brassiere in Cabot Circus as well as air conditioned restaurant.

Always good service as usual. Took my nephew out for his birthday and after realising a dish he ordered wasn't what he expected they happily changed it. Splendid meal and friendly staff.

Excellent service....had train to catch, so asked for meal to be served quickly and it arrived very promptly. Food lovely. Always a great selection on the menu, and staff friendly and efficient.

Superb meal set in an idyllic location with Cabot Circus just a stones throw away nothing was too much trouble for the excellent and attentive staff.

The best place to eat, tuna carpaccio was out of this world, and the free cocktail was very refreshing - can’t beat it 5 star*****

Really great quality food - absolutely delicious. Service was good although a little understaffed so I think the wait staff were under presssure. Would definitely go back again.

Every time we come the food is excellent - never had a bad meal! The service too is excellent! Use this restaurant on a regular basis and will continue to do so!

When I booked I mentioned it was my daughter's graduation celebration and hoped one of the staff would congratulate her, but that didn't happen. The food was reasonable apart from the steak which at first was dry,tough and overdone, then bloody and only to my daughter's taste on the third attempt. To the restaurant's credit, it removed the charge for this menu and apologised for not getting it right first time. The waitress was excellent.

Really good food as always, service was attentive and nothing too much trouble.

General good, however the overall experience was completely ruined by the quality of one of the mains. My mother ordered a burger that came completely burned! A new burger was brought to out table but was still over cooked. The quality of the meat was also very poor. I paid the bill in full, but I actually regret having paid for it. I can’t understand how can cote Brasserie serve a main course with worse quality than a frozen burger from an average surpermarket and not even know how to cook it. Very disapointing experience.

The choice of menu at Cote Brassiere is simply first class , there is such a wide range of dishes on offer it is impossible to find something that dosent suite.

Lovely lunch at Cote restaurant staff are friendly nothing is too much trouble, they are attentive but not overbearing. Ambience is calm and relaxed. Food is excellent.

A generally nice time . Most of the food was very nice. However, the vegie sausages and potatoes were a bit dry and boring. The wine was lovely. The service was fine. The free drinks were lovely - I can't remember what it was called though. Thanks

Cote is always consistently good & great to be able to eat outside & enjoy the good weather and good food at Quakers Friars in Bristol!

The service was good but my squid was over cooked (not enough to make a fuss but enough to make it less enjoyable). The starter portions were too large to make it possible to eat all if it and enjoy the main. I didn’t like the two lunch menus. Why not price it in the middle and make both better.

Good breakfast, go early if you want a quiet time. We always seem to go there for special occasions, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Would recommend for brunch.

Absolutely superb as always. The set menu is brilliant value for money, good food, piping hot & the staff are all lovely. Our favourite restaurant.

blessed with a hot sunny day we ate outside under a huge canopy. Sunny staff, sunny menu and sunny smiley service without being intrusive. Brilliant

I must admit there is a real french flavour to dining at Cote Brassiere in Cabot Circus the choice of a la carte or set or premium menus is brilliant.
