Côte Bristol Quakers Friars

we took my mum for a birthday surprise. Had a lovely meal, which we all enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will return again shortly. 😀

One of our meals was poorly cooked with no sauce. It was replaced, we didn't pay for it and we had two glasses of champagne on the house!

very enjoyable breakfast presented very promptly by attentive staff because this was a formule deal only orange or apple juice offered would have preferred a choice of fruit juice , but this was only a minor issue.

A very pleasant experience at this Côte Brasserie. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food and all the service come in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend eating here.

This was our first visit to the Quakers Friars branch and as at every other branch the food was really good, every dish well cooked and exactly as described. The service was exemplary- courteous without being intrusive.

Lovely lunch on a sunny spring day in Bristol. Restaurant busy and buzzing nevertheless the service was faultless. Very nice lunch with a friend, cannot wait to revisit

As always at Côtes we had a superb meal. I can recommend the duck and the fish Parmentier. Also the crab starter is delicious. The staff are always very attentive.

Lovely, tasteful food at a such a reasonable price before 7pm. Definitely a cut above the usual chains. I had the tuna rillettes and seafood and my husband had langoustine tails and the piquant chicken.

We experienced perfect, friendly service. One of us had the set meal early evening and it was OK. The other ate off the carte, and it was nicer.

Great service , great food and lovely atmosphere. We have ordered calamari, duck breast, tuna salad and the lamb loin chop. Highly recommended and definetly gonna go back !

Lovely varied menu and good service. Unfortunately they located a party of 15 men just behind us despite the fact the restaurant was empty otherwise as it was Tues evening, so unfortunately I couldn't hear a word my friends said.

Food and service was excellent. We were a party of 5 and our orders arrived quickly and there were no empty plates. We were not overly keen on the automatic service charge of 12% and we told the waitress that we were happy to give 10%.

A wonderful occasion in all respects. Please pass my thanks to your team, We are all of us very much looking forward to the next visit.

Excellent food and service as usual. Staff are very attentive but not over the top. Lovely ambience, look forward to returning again soon to enjoy a pleasurable dining experience.

Really nice food, staff and atmosphere. Our waitress was also helpful with recommendations when we were stuck between options. Will definitely be back, it was a great night.

Excellent service from very efficient and friendly staff. The food was delicious and served with a smile. We felt very comfortable and no one hassled or hurried us along and for this we will definitely be returning.

Felt just like being in France. The setting of the restaurant in the pedestrian square adds greatly to the atmosphere. Great food and LOVELY staff.

Lovely food staff excellent. Didn't give 5 stars as have the usual problem with the cost of soft drinks. As the dedicated driver I was drinking sparkling water for which we paid £8.50 for 2 bottles.

The service was a bit slow. But food very good as always! Cote is one of my favourites and I will be back very soon

New restaurant, nicely furnished. Authentic French food, lunch menu exceptional value. Service mainly good. Wasn't too busy on Tuesday lunchtime. We enjoyed the free bottle of wine!

Very good. Lovely staff and food. Don't like tips being added to my bill at 12.5% though Like to tip for good service which it was but Not to be told what I should add. Annoying.

We really enjoyed our meal. The staff were very friendly and efficient. My only criticism was our main course arrived before we had finished eating our starters.

We usually visit Côte in Clifton which is always good. Côte in Quaker's is now 'on the list' too. Lovely situation with outdoor seating and pleasant staff.

A first class meal served in excellent surroundings. Everything about the meal was supported by brilliant waiting staff. WOULD THOROUGHLY recommend Cote Brassiere in Cabot Circus Bristol.

Food was good, however three of the group had an egg benedict starter, but they were cold & had to be returned. There was no atmosphere and for part of our visit our group of 5 were the only people in the restaurant. Despite this, we struggled to get the attention of the waitress at times. Clifton Village Cote is far better

Calamari excellent. Service good but regrettably the kitchen was unable to provide a hot peche crumble. Taken from fridge, put into a hot oven for a couple of minutes. Result - container hot inside stone cold. Even I know that you heat the centre with a mircrowave and then brown in a hot oven to finish and heat the outside. In fairness, pudding replaced with one warm rather than hot.

Relaxing environment and helpful staff. Quality food well prepared and presented. Will definitely visit again. Visited for family birthday which staff facilitated for us. Enjoyed our first visit

The food was good not disappointed and excellent value for money we had a nice table as requested and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Unusually the service wasn't up to normal we had to ask for the glasses to be refilled from the bottle of wine and leave our seat to find some one to place a coffee order maybe they were short staffed that day it wouldn't stop me returning.

Great service. Nice staff. Thank you. I have eaten here at least four times now and on every occasion I have enjoyed it! Also the Côte in Clifton Village is a firm favourite.

Excellent food and great service at Cote. Good value too for what we had - steak, mussels and veal were particularly good, with decent French wines by the glass

Lovely bright restaurant overlooking Quakers Friars. Enjoyed the breakfast but a little bland. We had lots of time to sit & chat at breakfast and were not rushed or hurried by staff.

As ever the food was delicious and the service great. If Cote can do a fabulous 3 course meal for £12.95 why can't everyone else? Thoroughly recommend.

on this latest visit to Cote Braasiere my partner was slightly "off " her food , so she chose a starter and dessert excluding a main course ,she was amazed at the choice of both!!!.

Yesterday i enjoyed a lunch time meal in Bristol at Cote in Quakers Friar, I ordered from the lunch time set menu and was pleasantly surprised at the varied choice available. As usual the food was excellent, also the service.

Classic French food, nice ambience, we love it! The menu changes regularly and features innovative dishes, like the yellow beetroot starter we enjoyed today. If you like French food, try this restaurant.

Lovely new restaurant in Quakers Friar's, clean, modern feel, great food and friendly waitress, only negative was glass of wine a bit on the expensive side at £7.00

On this occassion , as i was a little early for lunch i decided to try the breakfast menu. I found this to be of excellent value for the price which included toast,juice and coffee , as well as a full english breakfast for under £10.
