Fantastic, as always. Service is great as is the menu, food and ambiance. We eat here atleast once a week and we never have a bad experince.

Excellent evening, food and service as good as ever. Cote never fails to please, good value and tonight we enjoyed our free bottle of wine as a bonus.

Usual high standard of food and customer service, although the pan fried haddock was overcooked. The fish stew was very good as was the belly of pork

Our third visit to Cote, and a truly memorable birthday meal. Great food, great service and a wonderful atmosphere. The food really is the equal of some of the best restaurants I visited in France. Ten out of ten !

We always like it here. Today was a celebration for a birthday. We were very well looked after by the attentive staff and had a super lunch.

Excellent lunch and service. Very good value for money on a weekday, if you go for daily special - - although all three courses needed still good value.

less staff in duty it seems than normal - very busy with slower food and water delivery- but did accommodate our request to move to a quieter area

We had a table for 9. The service was very good and discreet. The menu very varied and food very good and well presented. The majority of the party chose the fixed price early bird menu

We had a great meal at Cote with delicious food and great wine; the staff member looking after us was particularly helpful. Highly recommended for a small group visit.

The staff were very friendly and our food was served fairly quickly. The main difficulty we experienced was that there was no vegetarian main course for the set menu designed to celebrate the restaurant's 10th anniversary. There were some tasty vegetarian options on the usual menu, although it would be good to vary them a bit over time.

Wonderful food, wine , the waitress always helpful, many different choices of the excellent French food....relax atmosphere...good place to bring family, friends for dinner, lunch,breakfast

Went for a family celebration. Good food & service. I have Been to a few Cotes - the one in Clifton is the best by far

Food and service were, as ever, very good. The Charentais Melon and Parma Ham were some of the best we had tasted. We shall be back!

A busy Sunday in Cote Bristol Clifton Village but service and food not affected. The usual high quality at our sixth Cote this year - London Marylebone, Bath, Bristol, Oxford, Cheltenham & our home town Cirencester. Recommendation enough I would say.

Great atmosphere, great menu, great service - everything required to celebrate a birthday. This was our first visit but we both agree it won't be the last.

Very nice Early Evening Menu - first experience of eating at the restaurant. Very busy and good atmosphere. Would have scored more, but the starter was a little tough to eat possibly overlooked (goats cheese flat bread) and waiting a long time to ask for coffee and Bill. Otherwise, a lovely evening.

As long as I ignored the returning temporary manager it was wonderful as always. Apart from him everything was wonderful. He may be a returning manager who originally opened a restaurant in Clifton I do not feel he is the right fit for this restaurant.

It was a busy Friday evening and the restaurant was almost fully booked. But the staff gave excellent and attentive services. Food was good and came out efficiently. Overall it was good dining experience.

Although this is one of the largest of the Cotes I have been in, it is exceedingly popular and being in a very trendy 'village ' parking is exceptionally difficult. However, the food and service is, as always, excellent. A great place for Sunday morning breakfast!

We have used this branch twice now for special occasions and not been disappointed. Staff have always been courteous and helpful. Early evening menu excellent value and food well presented and delicious. Good atmosphere, clean facilities. Would happily recommend.

Lovely food. Steak is always a winner and I had a beautiful heritage tomatoe salad. It is always busy in Cote which does make for a rather loud ambience. Also tables are rather close together, which I don't like. More space would make it a bit more relaxed.

Great food and atmosphere; pity about the 12.5% auto service charge, I like to tip according to experience and this just makes it awkward. Would think twice about going again due to this.

A venue with a relaxed vibe. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was all exceptional. The very best meal I have had in any Bristol restaurant for a very long time. I highly recommend this place

Lively, fun, atmospheric brasserie with a good range on menu. Made to feel super-welcome, a very thoughtful complimentary drink and a little chat when we were seated showed interest in our dining reason. The restaurant staff were all efficient, friendly and alert. Each had a nice personality of their own. A small issue which we would not have been raised had we not been asked directly, resulted in a professional, kind and discreet gesture by Cote which was much appreciated. Will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thank you.

Lovely food, good value for money,friendly helpful staff, only downside tables for 2 a bit too close together we could hear the full conversation of the next table.

Good food and service, good atmosphere. Would have appreciated faster service when it came to payment. Very accommodating to dietary needs and enjoyed the mimosas!

Another super meal, great value and great food, set in a relaxed atmosphere where it was easy to chat amongst ourselves without being drown out by excessive background noise. Waiting staff were very attentive.

Excellent menus at reasonable prices, extraordinary value for money. All three of us were very imressed - not for the first time and it certainly won't be the last. Just one other comment - hard surfaces and a full restaurant made it a little difficult to hear what was said across the table. That's the price of justified popularity, I suppose.

Excellent breakfast and staff are very accommodating. Very nice atmosphere. Bit cheeky automatically adding service charge. Staff can't rely on tips when applying for a mortgage.

Excellent as always! The staff, the ambience, the food....all are excellent and I cannot fault the restaurant. If I want a treat then I ensure I have the Creme Caramel!

Lovely food as usual but service not quite as good despite it not being busy. Very polite but did feel a bit neglected and starters/appetisers came with a 15 min gap between 2 of them (from the bar) and the remainder (from the kitchen).

My guest's steak was very poor (gristley & tough) & she decided not to eat it. The staff did however remove it from the bill.

Had a great meal and service was friendly and efficient would always recommend .to anyone looking for a special place to celebrate with friends and family
