3 out of 7 of us had steaks they were over cooked and generally not great for the price. The waiter service was excellent though and starters and deserts were lovely.

Lovely food, convivial atmosphere, great wine - what is there not to like? We go there at least once per month and for good reason.

Excellent service, good food. Rather noisy with 4 parties in for their Christmas lunches but not too much ch of a problem. Service is spot on and quick. Still up to usual standard with the food. Try the crime brûlée!

We had a friendly reception to Cote when we arrived followed by pleasant waiting staff - they were attentive, but discrete. Thank you to our servers.

Food was lovely, atmosphere ideal and service great. We were slightly 'squashed' onto one table, but appreciate restaurant was busy with it being Xmas. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely lunch, served with professionalism and friendliness. Staff were attentive but gave us our own space. The food was of high quality and reasonably priced.

Continues to be reliable both in terms of quality of food and in terms of service. It shows that it really pays to have enough staff on hand to keep up standards.

Had a lovely meal to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. Had the Christmas Menu as it’s so near to Christmas. Starters was absolutely gorgeous, had the liver pate. The mains we had were steak which was lovely, but the other members had duck and were slightly disappointed as it was too over cooked and dry. Puddings were delicious as always. The only gripe I have is the added gratuity which is added to the bill automatically, if I wouldn’t of looked at the bill I wouldn’t of noticed the extra £21 added which I think was totally wrong to do. I don’t mind giving gratuity but that amount I feel was over the top. Apart from that all good.

Prompt, efficient and friendly service combined with delicious food at a very good price makes for happy customers. The only small criticism we had was that it was quite noisy but that only reflects how busy they were!

Busy and lively but our table was ready. The menu is varied and every meal served was delicious. The waiting staff were efficient and pleasant. We've been to Cotes many times and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

Very friendly welcome on arrival .We were escorted to our table swiftly and our coats were taken from us and hung up. We were served very efficiently and politely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and and agreed that the size of the portions were very acceptable. We have already agreed to dine there in March when we meet again.

Another great meal at our favourite restaurant. The food was cooked to perfection and the service met all the expected standards we have come to really enjoy as part of the over all experience of a meal out.

Excellent food, good value, good portion size. Vibrant buzzy atmosphere. delicious birthday Kir Royal for me and my friends. Our waiter Martin was lovely, very patient and smiley. I even got a birthday candle in my dessert! I will recommend to others and come again soon 😋

We went to Cote for an early Saturday evening dinner. Good food and service made for a lovely family meal, it was a very enjoyable occasion.

The food was of its usual good standard but the service wasn’t very good this evening, extremely slow. The first waiter we had was very helpful but trying to catch someone’s attention for more water was near on impossible, clearing, ordering desserts and getting bill very slow

Busy Friday night but staff worked hard to keep things moving. Good atmosphere, food of a reasonable standard for a chain. We had an enjoyable time.

Quality of the food is good and choice of food very good. The staff are very helpful and any one of the waiters and waitresses would take our order e.g. For extra drinks - excellent service by all.

Another lovely evening at Cote Brasserie. Staff are always friendly and accommodating - we arrived early for our table but it was no trouble to seat us and then two of our party arrived late but we never felt rushed to order. Food and wine were all excellent. All good!

Very nice food with excellent service. I have to say that the garlic bread starter was very tasty but a bit hard in places. Other than that the food was very good.

Not my usual experience at your restaurant! We had to wait ages for initial service at the table and to receive the extra menus for ‘specials’ and throughout the meal had to catch the eye of staff for service. No problem with the standard of food.

Excellent food and service at very reasonable price. We have never been disappointed at Cote in Clifton and look forward to returning and trying the Christmas menu.

Enjoyable lunch spent with two special relatives. Unhurried meal. Three course special menu particularly enjoyed by one member of our group at a competitive price.

Very pleasant lunch, including good service. The hake and the moules were both particularly good. However the coffee was too strong and tasted as though it had been stewed.

As usual an excellent visit, food delicious, tables spaced well, pricing very fair but the icing on the cake was our Sardinian waiter - funny and efficient, a great asset to the restaurant.

Always a good experience at Cote in Clifton. Easy to book, good, helpful staff, nice food and an enjoyable family Birthday was celebrated by us all!

Love the steak tartare wine was lush, but not a cheap option. We all had others all had steak thought the Côte de boeuf was not big enough for my husband and 14 yr old to share. Maybe a 14 yr old needs one all by himself

Must sort out cold wind from entrance doors it's ridiculous do not accept a table in this area. Enjoyed the rest of the meal etc.

Very friendly staff and great service. Food was great; perfectly cooked, very tasty and also well priced. Atmosphere was great, however, tables could possibly be placed slightly further apart, however this wasn’t at all, all that great an issue.

Cote has a wide and varied menu of food that is well thought-out and matched per dish. It is good value and the service is second to none. What could be nicer?

Staff were lovely and it’s in an excellent location, but steak was cold and didn’t come with mushroom or tomato. The price was cheaper than other steak restaurants we visit so maybe I just expected too much

Lovely brunch on a Sunday morning. Friendly staff and prompt service. The vegetarian breakfast was well done and the right portion size (not too small or too large) and the mimosa slipped down very nicely! Would return.

We love this place and visit every Friday to kick our weekend off! Service is always polite and prompt and the food fab. Shame they don’t serve draught beer and larger though.

We are always warmly greeted, very well looked after with nothing being too much trouble. The excellent, extensive and very varied menus never disappoint resulting in us returning time and again when there's something to celebrate, or just have a treat.

Every time we go to Cote we always have excellent service! The staff are always very friendly and helpful and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend Cote!

Apart from being seated by the front door which was very cold, everything else was excellent. However we were moved upstairs and all was well.

The restaurant was rather noisy which made conversation tricky at times. We had to ask more than once for a drink which was forgotten. The food was good and not too expensive but an automatic addition of 12.5% on your bill is a little cheeky even if it does state it’s optional...

Despite confirming the early bird price, they lied to us so we went elsewhere It was unfortunate but couldn't be helped. We had a good dinner at Aqua in Whiteladies Rd
