Usual efficient service and pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately one main course cold but this was immediately sorted out with full apology . We will come again for certain

Good buzzy atmosphere, attentive waiting staff, good food and wine - what's not to like about it? Our husbands had sirloin steaks which were so tender you didn't need a steak knife, my sword fish was the best I've had in a long while and my friend had beef in a sauce which got the thumbs up. I'm a coaliac but was catered for easily - such a change from some restaurants. Have visited the restaurant several times and keep coming back for more.

Like stepping into a Parisian Brasserie but without the attitude. Attentive service- relaxed but not slow, fantastic food, well presented and full of flavour. Certain to return.

Excellent meal and service, the only issue is being seated in the entrance area where an ongoing intermittent cold draft rushes in when ever people leave or arrive. It needs a better solution than relying on customers or staff to close the curtains whom rarely do so. Please fix this issue.

Apart from being noisey the whole afternoon was great. The food was delicious and the wine was also fabulous. Overall we had a great time.

As always very good food in a good environment with very friendly and attentive staff. The complimentary Kir Royale was a very welcome start to the evening

Great restaurant for dinner with friends - lively enough to enjoy good conversation. Menu is extensive -steak and mussels are especially delicious. Service was good though could have been a little friendlier.

All good at Cote. Great food, wouldnt think it was part of a large chain, wide choice on offer, family friendly. Good value, lovely staff.

Food and service were very good and we have decided to return again soon. The only minor point was that we found it a bit noisy but that is more to do with our maturity! Well done to you all. Sea bass was great.

Went as four adults and a 2.5 year old child for Sunday lunch. Very attentive service. Quality, tasty food was nicely presented and prepared and served in a good time-line. Because the restaurant was busy the noise levels were very high in the lower part of the restaurant. If you intend meeting with friends for a chat over your meal you might want to consider asking for a table at the far end of the dining area.

The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very busy but they were attentive and helpful. There was plenty to choose from on the menu and when the food arrived it was lovely. Would definately recommend this restaurant and will be visiting again soon.

Lovely food. Attentive staff. Great atmosphere. We chose from the early menu which had a good selection and a creme caramel that was so delicious. We’ll be visiting again soon!

We were about 12-14 mins late because of traffic and our table was given away then we had a ta l next to the toilets. Not happy

Lovely cosy restaurant with pleasant staff. The early evening meal is a good deal - although you really need a side dish with the mains. My Jerusalem artichoke starter was fantastic.

Excellent meal as always, friendly staff who dealt with allergies reassuringly well. Good choice on the menu and service prompt. Will be back again soon.

Great food and service. Only thing wrong was they emailed me with of complimentary kir royales as it was my birthday but then put them on bill.

Asha, our waitress was a 10/10. Very attentive and intuitive, she knew what we required before we even had to ask. Very much the standard required for all restaurants. Food was spot on too.

Always enjoy eating at Cote. However, the desserts haven't changed for a while and the only fruit based dessert is frozen berries. May be time for a change

The food was delicious. I had crepes with spinach and mushroom. Staff was friendly and taking care of us but most important the service didnt feel fake which made thw atmosphere warm and relaxing.

Really lovely place to eat- we went for Sunday lunch fir my daughter's 21 st birthday. Very friendly staff and unusually good, extensive gluten- free menu. The food is soooo good! And very French!!

WE took our grandson and his mum out to lunch today as it's his 8th birthday tomorrow. We enjoyed an excellent meal and thank you for the little birthday surprise.

The food was delicious as was the excellent wine. My request for a particular table was fulfilled which added to our enjoyment. The restaurant was very busy but the staff still had time to engage with us. A great evening out.

Nice restaurant and good food. Annoyed they automatically added a 12.5% tip to the bill which I had to ask to be removed as the service didn’t warrant a tip. I think they should ask whether you would like to tip for the service not put it on the bill anyway.

Went for family lunch, which was enjoyed by all. Restaurant busy, but service and food was good. Only thing they need to improve on is the front door, which needs to close properly so the icy wind doesn't whistle round the dining area. Happy overall and will return.

Although it was a very busy time as it was Mothering Sunday the staff were very obliging. Our table was beside the toilets but they moved us slightly so we were nearer the window. Food very good (and hot).

As usual, a friendly welcome, even though the manager seemed new. Food was excellent (and the choice remains fine - the monthly specials are important because otherwise, if you eat at all regularly, the menu has a certain sameness). Pretty full and cheerful noise, as a good bistro should be. It is currently our standard "go to" place in Clifton.

Excellent value, service and food, for us the perfect lunch! Happy to recommend as it stands out amongst some very strong competition in the area.

Great service 1st class breakfast (full English) and amazing coffee! Cotes has a lovely busy atmosphere too. We have been for dinner and lunch too in the past it's always great. We will return again and again.

I found cote brasserie very enjoyable , our waitress was friendly efficient and cheerful . Food was equally good . We went as a party of 5 and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience .

Really great service; food was very tasty and well presented. A tiny element of "Clifton prices" and lighting is just too dim for my old eyes but overall, really enjoyed the meal.

Mother's Day breakfast lovely. Service brilliant. Only criticism would be being told they needed table back in 90 minutes before we'd even sat down & I felt they wanted us to leave as soon as we'd finished. I could understand it if we hadn't booked, but we had. Made me feel a little uncomfortable.

The service was friendly and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. It was a Saturday night when we went, so the atmosphere was great, and the food was delicious.

I’ve visited a few Cote restaurants and I’ve never had a bad meal. Great atmosphere, food and speedy service despite being very busy. We couldn’t fault it!
